1 Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to Yahweh, and said, “ I will sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto Jehovah, and spake, saying, I will sing unto Jehovah, for he hath triumphed gloriously: The horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.그때에 모세와 이스라엘 자손이 여호와께 이 노래를 불러 말하였다. "내가 여호와를 노래하리니, 그분이 영광스럽게 승리하셨음이라. 말과 그 탄 자를 바다에 던지셨도다.

This is my God, and I will praise him; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.Jehovah is my strength and song, And he is become my salvation: This is my God, and I will praise him; My father’s God, and I will exalt him.여호와는 나의 힘이요 나의 노래시며, 그분이 나의 구원이 되셨도다. 이분은 나의 하나님이시니 내가 그분을 찬양하리라. 내 아버지의 하나님이시니 내가 그분을 높이리라.
3 Yahweh is a man of war. Yahweh is his name.Jehovah is a man of war: Jehovah is his name.여호와는 용사이시니, 여호와가 그분의 이름이시로다.
4 He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea.Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea; And his chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea.그분이 바로의 병거들과 그 군대를 바다에 던지셨으니, 그가 택한 지휘관들이 홍해에 잠겼도다.

6 Your right hand, Yahweh, is glorious in power. Your right hand, Yahweh, dashes the enemy in pieces.Thy right hand, O Jehovah, is glorious in power, Thy right hand, O Jehovah, dasheth in pieces the enemy.여호와여, 주의 오른손이 권능으로 영광스럽나이다. 여호와여, 주의 오른손이 원수를 산산이 부수시나이다.
7 In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send out your wrath. It consumes them as stubble.And in the greatness of thine excellency thou overthrowest them that rise up against thee: Thou sendest forth thy wrath, it consumeth them as stubble.주의 뛰어난 위엄으로 주를 거슬러 일어나는 자들을 엎으시고, 주의 진노를 보내시어 그들을 검불처럼 사르시나이다.
8 With the blast of your nostrils, the waters were piled up. The floods stood upright as a heap. The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were piled up, The floods stood upright as a heap; The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.주의 콧김으로 물이 쌓이고, 흐르던 물이 둑처럼 곧게 섰으며, 깊은 물이 바다 한가운데서 엉기었나이다.
9 The enemy said, ‘ I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the plunder. My desire will be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword. My hand will destroy them.’The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.원수가 말하기를 '내가 쫓아가 따라잡아 노략물을 나누리라. 내 욕심이 그들로 채워지리니, 내가 칼을 빼어 내 손으로 그들을 멸하리라' 하였나이다.
10 You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: They sank as lead in the mighty waters.주께서 바람을 일으키시니 바다가 그들을 덮어, 그들이 거센 물에 납처럼 가라앉았나이다.
11 Who is like you, Yahweh, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?Who is like unto thee, O Jehovah, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?여호와여, 신들 중에 주와 같은 이가 누구이니이까? 거룩하심에 영광스럽고, 찬송 받기에 두려우며, 기이한 일을 행하시는 주와 같은 이가 누구이니이까?
12 You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them.Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, The earth swallowed them.주께서 오른손을 펴시니 땅이 그들을 삼켰나이다.
13 “ You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.Thou in thy lovingkindness hast led the people that thou hast redeemed: Thou hast guided them in thy strength to thy holy habitation.주께서 인자하심으로 속량하신 백성을 인도하시고, 주의 힘으로 주의 거룩한 처소까지 그들을 이끄셨나이다.
14 The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.The peoples have heard, they tremble: Pangs have taken hold on the inhabitants of Philistia.뭇 민족이 듣고 떨며, 블레셋 주민들이 고통에 사로잡혔나이다.
15 Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.Then were the chiefs of Edom dismayed; The mighty men of Moab, trembling taketh hold upon them: All the inhabitants of Canaan are melted away.그때에 에돔의 지도자들이 놀라고, 모압의 강한 자들이 떨림에 사로잡혔으며, 가나안의 모든 주민이 다 녹아내렸나이다.
16 Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone, until your people pass over, Yahweh, until the people you have purchased pass over.Terror and dread falleth upon them; By the greatness of thine arm they are as still as a stone; Till thy people pass over, O Jehovah, Till the people pass over that thou hast purchased.두려움과 공포가 그들에게 임하니, 주의 팔이 크심으로 그들이 돌처럼 잠잠하였나이다. 여호와여, 주의 백성이 다 지나가기까지, 주께서 사신 백성이 다 지나가기까지 그러하였나이다.
17 You will bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, the place, Yahweh, which you have made for yourself to dwell in: the sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have established.Thou wilt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, The place, O Jehovah, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, The sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.주께서 그들을 데려다가 주의 기업의 산에 심으시리니, 여호와여, 그곳은 주께서 거하시려고 친히 마련하신 곳이요, 주여, 주의 손으로 세우신 성소이니이다.

21 Miriam answered them, “ Sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. 23 When they came to Marah, they couldn’t drink from the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore its name was called Marah.And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.마라에 이르렀으나 마라의 물이 써서 마실 수 없었으므로, 그곳 이름을 마라라 불렀다.
24 The people murmured against Moses, saying, “ What shall we drink?”And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?백성이 모세를 원망하여 말하기를 "우리가 무엇을 마실까?" 하였다.
25 Then he cried to Yahweh. Yahweh showed him a tree, and he threw it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There he made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there he tested them.And he cried unto Jehovah; and Jehovah showed him a tree, and he cast it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them;모세가 여호와께 부르짖으니, 여호와께서 그에게 한 나무를 보이셨고, 그가 그것을 물에 던지매 물이 달게 되었다. 거기서 여호와께서 그들을 위하여 법도와 규례를 정하시고, 거기서 그들을 시험하셨다.
26 He said, “ If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you.”and he said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his eyes, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon thee, which I have put upon the Egyptians: for I am Jehovah that healeth thee.그리고 말씀하셨다. "네가 만일 네 하나님 여호와의 목소리를 부지런히 듣고, 그분 보시기에 옳은 일을 행하며, 그분의 계명에 귀를 기울이고, 그분의 모든 규례를 지키면, 내가 이집트 사람들에게 내린 그 어떤 질병도 네게 내리지 아니하리니, 나는 너를 낫게 하는 여호와임이라."
27 They came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees.
