1 Yahweh said to Moses, “ I will bring yet one more plague on Pharaoh, and on Egypt; afterwards he will let you go. When he lets you go, he will surely thrust you out altogether.And Jehovah said unto Moses, Yet one plague more will I bring upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 바로와 이집트에 한 가지 재앙을 더 내리겠다. 그 후에야 그가 너희를 내보낼 것이다. 그가 너희를 내보낼 때에는 아예 이곳에서 너희를 완전히 쫓아낼 것이다.

3 Yahweh gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.And Jehovah gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.여호와께서 이집트 사람들이 그 백성에게 호의를 베풀게 하셨다. 또한 모세라는 사람은 이집트 땅에서 바로의 신하들이 보기에도, 그 백성이 보기에도 매우 위대한 인물이 되었다.
4 Moses said, “ This is what Yahweh says: ‘ About midnight I will go out into the middle of Egypt,And Moses said, Thus saith Jehovah, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:모세가 말하였다. "여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하십니다. '한밤중쯤에 내가 이집트 한가운데로 나아가겠다.
5 and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant who is behind the mill, and all the firstborn of livestock.and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill; and all the first-born of cattle.그러면 이집트 땅의 모든 맏아들이 죽을 것이다. 보좌에 앉은 바로의 맏아들부터 맷돌 뒤에 있는 여종의 맏아들까지, 그리고 모든 가축의 맏배까지 죽을 것이다.
6 There will be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there has not been, nor will be any more.And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there hath not been, nor shall be any more.이집트 온 땅에 큰 통곡이 있을 것이니, 이전에도 없었고 다시는 없을 만한 통곡이다.
7 But against any of the children of Israel a dog won’t even bark or move its tongue, against man or animal, that you may know that Yahweh makes a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel.But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that Jehovah doth make a distinction between the Egyptians and Israel.그러나 이스라엘 자손에게는 사람에게든 짐승에게든 개 한 마리도 짖거나 혀를 놀리지 않을 것이다. 이는 여호와께서 이집트 사람과 이스라엘 사이를 구별하시는 줄을 너희가 알게 하려는 것이다.'
8 All these servants of yours will come down to me, and bow down themselves to me, saying, “ Get out, with all the people who follow you;” and after that I will go out.’” He went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in hot anger.그러면 당신의 이 모든 신하들이 내게 내려와 절하며 '당신과 당신을 따르는 온 백성은 나가시오' 하고 말할 것입니다. 그런 다음에야 내가 나가겠습니다." 그러고 나서 모세는 크게 분노하여 바로에게서 나왔다.
9 Yahweh said to Moses, “ Pharaoh won’t listen to you, that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.”And Jehovah said unto Moses, Pharaoh will not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. "바로가 너희 말을 듣지 않을 것이니, 이는 내 이적들이 이집트 땅에서 더 많아지게 하려는 것이다."
10 Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh, but Yahweh hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he didn’t let the children of Israel go out of his land.And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and Jehovah hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.모세와 아론이 바로 앞에서 이 모든 이적을 행하였으나, 여호와께서 바로의 마음을 완악하게 하셨으므로, 그는 이스라엘 자손을 자기 땅에서 내보내지 않았다.
