1 “ You shall not spread a false report. Don’t join your hand with the wicked to be a malicious witness.Thou shalt not take up a false report: put not thy hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.너는 거짓 소문을 퍼뜨리지 말라. 악인과 손을 잡고 악의에 찬 증인이 되지 말라.
2 “ You shall not follow a crowd to do evil. You shall not testify in court to side with a multitude to pervert justice.Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to turn aside after a multitude to wrest justice:너는 악을 행하려고 무리를 따라가지 말며, 다수의 편을 들어 정의를 굽게 하려고 송사에서 증언하지 말라.
3 You shall not favor a poor man in his cause.neither shalt thou favor a poor man in his cause.가난한 사람의 송사라고 해서 그를 부당하게 편들지도 말라.
4 “ If you meet your enemy’s ox or his donkey going astray, you shall surely bring it back to him again.If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.네 원수의 소나 나귀가 길을 잃고 헤매는 것을 만나거든 너는 반드시 그것을 그에게로 다시 끌어다 주라.
5 If you see the donkey of him who hates you fallen down under his burden, don’t leave him. You shall surely help him with it.If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, thou shalt forbear to leave him, thou shalt surely release it with him.너를 미워하는 자의 나귀가 짐에 눌려 쓰러진 것을 보거든 그를 모른 척 버려두지 말고, 너는 반드시 그를 도와 짐을 풀어 주라.
6 “ You shall not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits.Thou shalt not wrest the justice due to thy poor in his cause.너는 가난한 백성의 송사에서 그들에게 마땅한 정의를 외면하지 말라.
7 “ Keep far from a false charge, and don’t kill the innocent and righteous; for I will not justify the wicked.Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.거짓된 고발에서 멀리 떠나며, 죄 없는 자와 의로운 자를 죽이지 말라. 나는 악인을 의롭다 하지 아니하리라.
8 “ You shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds those who have sight and perverts the words of the righteous.And thou shalt take no bribe: for a bribe blindeth them that have sight, and perverteth the words of the righteous.너는 뇌물을 받지 말라. 뇌물은 눈 밝은 자의 눈을 멀게 하고 의로운 자의 말을 굽게 하느니라.
9 “ You shall not oppress an alien, for you know the heart of an alien, since you were aliens in the land of Egypt.And a sojourner shalt thou not oppress: for ye know the heart of a sojourner, seeing ye were sojourners in the land of Egypt.너는 나그네를 학대하지 말라. 너희도 이집트 땅에서 나그네였으니 나그네의 심정을 너희가 아느니라.
10 “ For six years you shall sow your land, and shall gather in its increase,And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the increase thereof:너는 여섯 해 동안 네 땅에 씨를 뿌리고 그 소출을 거두어들이되,
11 but the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of your people may eat; and what they leave the animal of the field shall eat. In the same way, you shall deal with your vineyard and with your olive grove.but the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie fallow; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beast of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.일곱째 해에는 그 땅을 쉬게 하여 묵혀 두라. 그리하면 네 백성 가운데 가난한 자들이 먹을 것이요, 그들이 남긴 것은 들짐승이 먹으리라. 네 포도원과 올리브 밭도 그와 같이 하라.
12 “ Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest, that your ox and your donkey may have rest, and the son of your servant, and the alien may be refreshed.Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest; that thine ox and thine ass may have rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the sojourner, may be refreshed.너는 엿새 동안 네 일을 하고 일곱째 날에는 쉬라. 그리하면 네 소와 나귀가 쉬고, 네 여종의 자식과 나그네도 숨을 돌리게 되리라.
13 “ Be careful to do all things that I have said to you; and don’t invoke the name of other gods or even let them be heard out of your mouth.And in all things that I have said unto you take ye heed: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.내가 너희에게 이른 모든 것을 삼가 지키고, 다른 신들의 이름을 부르지 말며 네 입에서 그 이름이 들리지도 않게 하라.
14 “ You shall observe a feast to me three times a year.Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.너는 한 해에 세 번 내게 절기를 지키라.
15 You shall observe the feast of unleavened bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Abib ( for in it you came out of Egypt ), and no one shall appear before me empty.The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep: seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, at the time appointed in the month Abib ( for in it thou camest out from Egypt ); and none shall appear before me empty:너는 무교병의 절기를 지키라. 내가 네게 명한 대로 아빕월의 정한 때에 이레 동안 무교병을 먹으라. 이는 그달에 네가 이집트에서 나왔기 때문이라. 아무도 빈손으로 내 앞에 나오지 말라.
16 And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you sow in the field; and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when you gather in your labors out of the field.and the feast of harvest, the first-fruits of thy labors, which thou sowest in the field: and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when thou gatherest in thy labors out of the field.또 네가 밭에 뿌려 거둔 네 수고의 첫 열매를 드리는 추수절을 지키고, 한 해의 끝에 밭에서 네 수고의 결실을 거두어들일 때에 수장절을 지키라.
17 Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord Yahweh.Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord Jehovah.한 해에 세 번 네 모든 남자는 주 여호와 앞에 나올지니라.
18 “ You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread. The fat of my feast shall not remain all night until the morning.Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my feast remain all night until the morning.너는 내 희생 제물의 피를 누룩 든 빵과 함께 드리지 말며, 내 절기 제물의 기름을 아침까지 밤새 남겨 두지 말라.
19 You shall bring the first of the first fruits of your ground into the house of Yahweh your God. “ You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.The first of the first-fruits of thy ground thou shalt bring into the house of Jehovah thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.네 땅 첫 소산의 맏물을 네 하나님 여호와의 집으로 가져오라. 너는 새끼 염소를 그 어미의 젖에 삶지 말라.
20 “ Behold, I send an angel before you, to keep you by the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.Behold, I send an angel before thee, to keep thee by the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.보라, 내가 한 천사를 네 앞에 보내어 길에서 너를 지키고 내가 예비한 곳으로 너를 인도하게 하리라.
21 Pay attention to him, and listen to his voice. Don’t provoke him, for he will not pardon your disobedience, for my name is in him.Take ye heed before him, and hearken unto his voice; provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgression: for my name is in him.너는 그를 주의하고 그의 음성을 들으라. 그를 노하게 하지 말라. 그는 너희 허물을 용서하지 아니하리니, 내 이름이 그 안에 있음이라.
22 But if you indeed listen to his voice, and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries.But if thou shalt indeed hearken unto his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.그러나 네가 참으로 그의 음성을 듣고 내가 말하는 모든 것을 행하면, 내가 네 원수에게 원수가 되고 네 대적에게 대적이 되리라.
23 For my angel shall go before you, and bring you in to the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off.For mine angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: and I will cut them off.내 천사가 네 앞서 가서 너를 아모리 사람과 헷 사람과 브리스 사람과 가나안 사람과 히위 사람과 여부스 사람에게로 인도하리니, 내가 그들을 끊어 버리리라.
24 You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor follow their practices, but you shall utterly overthrow them and demolish their pillars.Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works; but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and break in pieces their pillars.너는 그들의 신들에게 절하지 말고 섬기지 말며 그들의 행위를 따르지 말고, 도리어 그들을 완전히 무너뜨리고 그들의 기둥들을 산산이 부수라.
25 You shall serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.And ye shall serve Jehovah your God, and he will bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.너는 네 하나님 여호와를 섬기라. 그리하면 그가 네 양식과 물에 복을 내리시고, 내가 질병을 네 가운데서 떠나가게 하리라.
26 No one will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will fulfill the number of your days.There shall none cast her young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.네 땅에 낙태하거나 임신하지 못하는 자가 없을 것이며, 내가 네 수명을 다 채우게 하리라.
27 I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.I will send my terror before thee, and will discomfit all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.내가 내 위엄을 네 앞서 보내어 네가 이르는 모든 백성을 혼란에 빠뜨리고, 네 모든 원수가 네게 등을 돌려 달아나게 하리라.
28 I will send the hornet before you, which will drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before you.And I will send the hornet before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.내가 왕벌을 네 앞서 보내어 히위 사람과 가나안 사람과 헷 사람을 네 앞에서 쫓아내리라.
29 I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate, and the animals of the field multiply against you.I will not drive them out from before thee in one year, lest the land become desolate, and the beasts of the field multiply against thee.그러나 내가 그들을 한 해 안에 네 앞에서 쫓아내지는 아니하리니, 이는 땅이 황폐해지고 들짐승이 번성하여 너를 해할까 함이라.
30 Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and inherit the land.By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.네가 번성하여 그 땅을 차지하기까지 내가 그들을 조금씩 조금씩 네 앞에서 쫓아내리라.
31 I will set your border from the Red Sea even to the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the River; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.And I will set thy border from the Red Sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness unto the River: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand: and thou shalt drive them out before thee.내가 네 경계를 홍해에서부터 블레셋 바다까지, 광야에서부터 큰 강까지 정하리라. 내가 그 땅 주민을 네 손에 넘기리니, 너는 그들을 네 앞에서 쫓아내리라.
32 You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.너는 그들이나 그들의 신들과 언약을 맺지 말라.
33 They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me, for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me; for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.그들이 네 땅에 머물지 못하게 하라. 그들이 너로 하여금 내게 죄를 짓게 할까 함이라. 네가 그들의 신들을 섬기면 그것이 반드시 네게 올무가 되리라.
