1 “ Bring Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office: Aaron, with Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.And bring thou near unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.너는 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 네 형 아론과 그의 아들들을 네 곁으로 가까이 데려와, 그가 나를 섬기는 제사장 직분을 맡게 하여라. 곧 아론과 그의 아들들인 나답과 아비후, 엘르아살과 이다말이다.

2 You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, for glory and for beauty.너는 네 형 아론을 위하여 영광과 아름다움이 되도록 거룩한 옷을 만들어라.

3 You shall speak to all who are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron’s garments to sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron’s garments to sanctify him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.너는 내가 지혜의 영으로 채워 준, 마음이 지혜로운 모든 사람에게 말하여, 그들이 아론의 옷을 만들어 그를 거룩하게 구별하게 하여라. 그리하여 그가 나를 섬기는 제사장 직분을 맡게 하여라.

4 These are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a fitted tunic, a turban, and a sash. They shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a coat of checker work, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.그들이 만들 옷은 이러하다. 곧 가슴받이와 에봇과 겉옷과 격자무늬로 짠 속옷과 관과 띠다. 그들은 네 형 아론과 그의 아들들을 위하여 거룩한 옷을 만들어, 그가 나를 섬기는 제사장 직분을 맡게 하여라.

5 They shall use the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.And they shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.그들은 금실과 청색 실과 자색 실과 홍색 실과 고운 베실을 가져다 쓸 것이다.

6 “ They shall make the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skillful workman.And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skilful workman.그들은 에봇을 금실과 청색 실과 자색 실과 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 고운 베실로, 솜씨 좋은 장인의 작품으로 만들어야 한다.

7 It shall have two shoulder straps joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together.It shall have two shoulder-pieces joined to the two ends thereof, that it may be joined together.그것은 양쪽 끝에 이어 붙인 두 어깨끈이 있어서 서로 이어지게 하여라.

8 The skillfully woven band, which is on it, shall be like its work and of the same piece; of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.And the skilfully woven band, which is upon it, wherewith to gird it on, shall be like the work thereof and of the same piece; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.에봇 위에 있는 정교하게 짠 띠도 그 모양과 같게, 한 조각으로 만들되 금실과 청색 실과 자색 실과 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 고운 베실로 만들어라.

9 You shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel.And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:너는 두 개의 호마노를 가져다가 그 위에 이스라엘 자손의 이름들을 새겨라.

10 Six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, in the order of their birth.six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, according to their birth.그들의 태어난 순서대로 한 보석에 여섯 이름을, 다른 보석에 나머지 여섯 이름을 새겨라.

11 With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones, according to the names of the children of Israel. You shall make them to be enclosed in settings of gold.With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones, according to the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be inclosed in settings of gold.보석 새기는 사람이 인장을 새기듯이, 이스라엘 자손의 이름들을 따라 그 두 보석에 새기고, 그것들을 금테에 물려라.

12 You shall put the two stones on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel. Aaron shall bear their names before Yahweh on his two shoulders for a memorial.And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before Jehovah upon his two shoulders for a memorial.너는 그 두 보석을 에봇의 두 어깨끈 위에 달아, 이스라엘 자손을 위한 기념의 보석이 되게 하여라. 아론은 여호와 앞에서 그들의 이름을 양 어깨에 메어 기념으로 삼을 것이다.

13 You shall make settings of gold,And thou shalt make settings of gold,너는 금테들을 만들어라.

14 and two chains of pure gold; you shall make them like cords of braided work. You shall put the braided chains on the settings.and two chains of pure gold; like cords shalt thou make them, of wreathen work: and thou shalt put the wreathen chains on the settings.또 순금으로 노끈처럼 땋은 사슬 두 개를 만들고, 그 땋은 사슬을 금테에 매어라.

15 “ You shall make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, you shall make it.And thou shalt make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skilful workman; like the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.너는 판결의 가슴받이를 솜씨 좋은 장인의 작품으로 만들되, 에봇을 만든 것처럼 만들어라. 금실과 청색 실과 자색 실과 홍색 실과 가늘게 꼰 고운 베실로 만들어라.

16 It shall be square and folded double; a span shall be its length, and a span its width.Foursquare it shall be and double; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof.그것은 네모반듯하고 두 겹이 되게 하며, 길이는 한 뼘, 너비도 한 뼘이 되게 하여라.

17 You shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of ruby, topaz, and beryl shall be the first row;And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle shall be the first row;거기에 보석을 물려 넣되 네 줄로 하여라. 첫째 줄은 홍보석과 황옥과 녹주옥으로 하고,

18 and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald;and the second row an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond;둘째 줄은 청옥과 사파이어와 에메랄드로 하며,

19 and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;셋째 줄은 자수정과 백마노와 자색 수정으로 하고,

20 and the fourth row a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They shall be enclosed in gold in their settings.and the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be inclosed in gold in their settings.넷째 줄은 황록보석과 호마노와 벽옥으로 하여라. 이것들을 금테에 물려 넣어라.

21 The stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.And the stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, every one according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.이 보석들은 이스라엘 자손의 이름들을 따라 열두 개가 되게 하며, 인장을 새기듯 각각 그 이름대로 새겨, 열두 지파를 위한 것이 되게 하여라.

22 You shall make on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.And thou shalt make upon the breastplate chains like cords, of wreathen work of pure gold.너는 가슴받이 위에 순금으로 노끈처럼 땋은 사슬을 만들어라.

23 You shall make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.And thou shalt make upon the breastplate two rings of gold, and shalt put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.또 가슴받이 위에 금고리 둘을 만들어, 그 두 고리를 가슴받이의 두 끝에 달아라.

24 You shall put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.And thou shalt put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.그리고 땋은 금사슬 둘을 가슴받이 두 끝에 있는 두 고리에 매어라.

25 The other two ends of the two braided chains you shall put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod in its forepart.And the other two ends of the two wreathen chains thou shalt put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod in the forepart thereof.그 땋은 두 사슬의 나머지 두 끝은 두 금테에 매어, 에봇의 두 어깨끈 앞쪽에 달아라.

26 You shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of the breastplate, upon the edge thereof, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.너는 또 금고리 둘을 만들어 가슴받이의 두 끝, 곧 에봇 안쪽을 향한 가장자리에 달아라.

27 You shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its forepart, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and shalt put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, in the forepart thereof, close by the coupling thereof, above the skilfully woven band of the ephod.또 금고리 둘을 만들어, 에봇 앞쪽 아래편, 곧 정교하게 짠 띠 위쪽 이음새 가까이에 있는 두 어깨끈에 달아라.

28 They shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate may not swing out from the ephod.And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be upon the skilfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.그들은 가슴받이의 고리를 청색 끈으로 에봇의 고리에 매어, 그것이 에봇의 정교하게 짠 띠 위에 있게 하고, 가슴받이가 에봇에서 떨어지지 않게 하여라.

29 Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes in to the holy place, for a memorial before Yahweh continually.And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before Jehovah continually.아론은 거룩한 곳에 들어갈 때, 판결의 가슴받이에 이스라엘 자손의 이름을 가슴에 메어, 여호와 앞에 항상 기념이 되게 할 것이다.

30 You shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be on Aaron’s heart, when he goes in before Yahweh. Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel on his heart before Yahweh continually.And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before Jehovah: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before Jehovah continually.너는 판결의 가슴받이 안에 우림과 둠밈을 넣어, 아론이 여호와 앞에 들어갈 때 그것이 그의 가슴에 있게 하여라. 그리하여 아론이 이스라엘 자손의 판결을 여호와 앞에서 항상 가슴에 메게 하여라.

31 “ You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.너는 에봇 받침 겉옷을 전부 청색으로 만들어라.

32 It shall have a hole for the head in the middle of it. It shall have a binding of woven work around its hole, as it were the hole of a coat of mail, that it not be torn.And it shall have a hole for the head in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of a coat of mail, that it be not rent.그 한가운데에 머리가 들어갈 구멍을 내고, 그 구멍 둘레에는 갑옷의 깃처럼 짠 천으로 가장자리를 둘러서 찢어지지 않게 하여라.

33 On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, all around its hem; with bells of gold between and around them:And upon the skirts of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the skirts thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:그 옷자락 단에는 청색 실과 자색 실과 홍색 실로 석류를 만들어 단 둘레에 달고, 그 사이사이 둘레에 금방울을 달아라.

34 a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, around the hem of the robe.a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the skirts of the robe round about.금방울 하나와 석류 하나, 금방울 하나와 석류 하나를 번갈아 겉옷 단 둘레에 달아라.

35 It shall be on Aaron to minister: and its sound shall be heard when he goes in to the holy place before Yahweh, and when he comes out, that he not die.And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and the sound thereof shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before Jehovah, and when he cometh out, that he die not.아론이 섬길 때에 이 옷을 입어야 한다. 그가 여호와 앞 거룩한 곳에 들어갈 때와 나올 때에 그 방울 소리가 들리게 하여, 그가 죽지 않게 하여라.

36 “ You shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, ‘ HOLY TO YAHWEH.’And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLY TO JEHOVAH.너는 순금으로 패를 만들어, 인장을 새기듯이 그 위에 '여호와께 거룩'이라고 새겨라.

37 You shall put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be on the sash. It shall be on the front of the sash.And thou shalt put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.그것을 청색 끈에 매어 관에 달되, 관 앞쪽에 있게 하여라.

38 It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall make holy in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always on his forehead, that they may be accepted before Yahweh.And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before Jehovah.그것이 아론의 이마에 있게 하여, 아론이 이스라엘 자손이 거룩하게 드리는 모든 거룩한 예물에 관한 죄책을 담당하게 하여라. 그 패는 항상 그의 이마에 있어서, 그 예물이 여호와 앞에 받아들여지게 할 것이다.

39 You shall weave the tunic with fine linen. You shall make a turban of fine linen. You shall make a sash, the work of the embroiderer.And thou shalt weave the coat in checker work of fine linen, and thou shalt make a mitre of fine linen, and thou shalt make a girdle, the work of the embroiderer.너는 고운 베실로 속옷을 격자무늬로 짜고, 고운 베실로 관을 만들며, 수놓는 자의 솜씨로 띠를 만들어라.

40 “ You shall make tunics for Aaron’s sons. You shall make sashes for them. You shall make headbands for them, for glory and for beauty.And for Aaron’s sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and head-tires shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.너는 아론의 아들들을 위하여 속옷을 만들고, 그들을 위하여 띠를 만들며, 그들을 위하여 머리에 쓰는 관을 만들되, 영광과 아름다움이 되게 하여라.

41 You shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and upon his sons with him, and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office.너는 그것들을 네 형 아론과 그와 함께한 그의 아들들에게 입히고, 그들에게 기름을 부어 위임하고 거룩하게 구별하여, 그들이 나를 섬기는 제사장 직분을 맡게 하여라.

42 You shall make them linen pants to cover their naked flesh. They shall reach from the waist even to the thighs.And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover the flesh of their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:너는 그들을 위하여 베로 만든 속바지를 만들어 그들의 벌거벗은 살을 가리게 하되, 허리에서 넓적다리까지 이르게 하여라.

43 They shall be on Aaron and on his sons, when they go in to the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place, that they don’t bear iniquity, and die. This shall be a statute forever to him and to his offspring after him.and they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they go in unto the tent of meeting, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and unto his seed after him.아론과 그의 아들들이 회막에 들어갈 때나, 거룩한 곳에서 섬기려고 제단에 가까이 나아올 때에 그것을 입어야 한다. 그리하여 그들이 죄를 짊어지고 죽는 일이 없게 하여라. 이것은 아론과 그의 뒤를 이을 후손에게 영원한 규례가 될 것이다.
