1 Yahweh said to Moses, “ Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.”And Jehovah said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for by a strong hand shall he let them go, and by a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. "이제 너는 내가 바로에게 어떻게 하는지 보게 될 것이다. 강한 손으로 인하여 그가 그들을 보낼 것이며, 강한 손으로 인하여 그가 그들을 자기 땅에서 내쫓을 것이다."
2 God spoke to Moses, and said to him, “ I am Yahweh.And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am Jehovah:하나님께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르셨다. "나는 여호와다.
3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Yahweh I was not known to them.and I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Jehovah I was not known to them.나는 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 전능한 하나님으로 나타났으나, 내 이름 여호와로는 그들에게 알려지지 않았다.
4 I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their travels, in which they lived as aliens.And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their sojournings, wherein they sojourned.또한 나는 그들이 나그네로 살던 가나안 땅을 그들에게 주기로 그들과 언약을 세웠다.
5 Moreover I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.And moreover I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.더욱이 나는 이집트 사람들이 종으로 부리는 이스라엘 자손의 신음 소리를 들었고, 내 언약을 기억하였다.
6 Therefore tell the children of Israel, ‘ I am Yahweh, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments.Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:그러므로 이스라엘 자손에게 이렇게 말하여라. '나는 여호와다. 내가 너희를 이집트 사람들의 짐 아래에서 이끌어 내고, 그들의 종살이에서 너희를 건져 내며, 편 팔과 큰 심판으로 너희를 속량할 것이다.
7 I will take you to myself for a people. I will be your God; and you shall know that I am Yahweh your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.and I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah your God, who bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.내가 너희를 내 백성으로 삼고, 나는 너희의 하나님이 될 것이다. 그러면 너희는 내가 너희를 이집트 사람들의 짐 아래에서 이끌어 내는 너희의 하나님 여호와인 줄 알게 될 것이다.
8 I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Yahweh.’”And I will bring you in unto the land which I sware to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for a heritage: I am Jehovah.내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 주기로 맹세한 땅으로 너희를 이끌어 들이고, 그 땅을 너희에게 기업으로 줄 것이다. 나는 여호와다.'"
9 Moses spoke so to the children of Israel, but they didn’t listen to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.모세가 이렇게 이스라엘 자손에게 말하였으나, 그들은 마음의 괴로움과 혹독한 종살이 때문에 모세의 말을 듣지 않았다.
10 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르셨다.
11 “ Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.”Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land."들어가서 이집트 왕 바로에게 말하여, 그가 이스라엘 자손을 그의 땅에서 내보내게 하여라."
12 Moses spoke before Yahweh, saying, “ Behold, the children of Israel haven’t listened to me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, when I have uncircumcised lips?”And Moses spake before Jehovah, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?모세가 여호와 앞에서 아뢰었다. "보십시오, 이스라엘 자손도 제 말을 듣지 않는데, 입술이 둔한 제 말을 바로가 어찌 듣겠습니까?"
13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a command to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하시고, 그들에게 이스라엘 자손과 이집트 왕 바로에게 전할 명령을 주셔서, 이스라엘 자손을 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 내게 하셨다.
14 These are the heads of their fathers’ houses. The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.These are the heads of their fathers’ houses. 15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman; these are the families of Simeon.시므온의 아들들은 여무엘과 야민과 오핫과 야긴과 소할과, 가나안 여인의 아들 사울이니, 이들이 시므온의 가족들이다.
16 These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi were one hundred thirty-seven years.And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi were a hundred thirty and seven years.이들은 레위의 아들들의 이름을 그 세대에 따라 적은 것이다. 게르손과 고핫과 므라리니, 레위의 평생은 백삼십칠 년이었다.
17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.게르손의 아들들은 그 가족대로 립니와 시므이다.
18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred thirty-three years.And the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were a hundred thirty and three years.고핫의 아들들은 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘이니, 고핫의 평생은 백삼십삼 년이었다.

20 Amram took Jochebed his father’s sister to himself as wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. 23 Aaron took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, as his wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.And Aaron took him Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.아론은 암미나답의 딸이요 나손의 누이인 엘리세바를 아내로 맞이하였고, 그녀가 그에게 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말을 낳아 주었다.
24 The sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.And the sons of Korah: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.고라의 아들들은 앗실과 엘가나와 아비아삽이니, 이들이 고라 사람의 가족들이다.
25 Eleazar Aaron’s son took one of the daughters of Putiel as his wife; and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites according to their families.And Eleazar Aaron’s son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites according to their families.아론의 아들 엘르아살은 부디엘의 딸들 가운데 하나를 아내로 맞이하였고, 그녀가 그에게 비느하스를 낳아 주었다. 이들이 그 가족에 따른 레위 사람 조상의 집안 우두머리들이다.
26 These are that Aaron and Moses to whom Yahweh said, “ Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.”These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom Jehovah said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts.여호와께서 "이스라엘 자손을 그들의 군대대로 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 내어라" 하고 말씀하신 대상이 바로 이 아론과 모세다.
27 These are those who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt. These are that Moses and Aaron.These are they that spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.이스라엘 자손을 이집트에서 이끌어 내려고 이집트 왕 바로에게 말한 사람들이 이들이니, 곧 이 모세와 아론이다.
28 On the day when Yahweh spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,And it came to pass on the day when Jehovah spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt,여호와께서 이집트 땅에서 모세에게 말씀하시던 날에,
29 Yahweh said to Moses, “ I am Yahweh. Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I tell you.”that Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, I am Jehovah: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I speak unto thee.여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르셨다. "나는 여호와다. 내가 너에게 이르는 모든 것을 이집트 왕 바로에게 말하여라."
30 Moses said before Yahweh, “ Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh listen to me?”And Moses said before Jehovah, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?모세가 여호와 앞에서 아뢰었다. "보십시오, 저는 입술이 둔한 사람인데, 바로가 어찌 제 말을 듣겠습니까?"
