1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,여호와께서 이집트 땅에서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨다.
2 “ This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you.This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you."이 달을 너희에게 달들의 시작으로 삼아라. 이 달이 너희에게 한 해의 첫째 달이 될 것이다.
3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, ‘ On the tenth day of this month, they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household;Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household:온 이스라엘 회중에게 이렇게 일러라. '이 달 열흘째 되는 날에 각 사람이 자기 조상의 집을 따라 어린 양 한 마리씩, 곧 한 집에 어린 양 한 마리를 마련하여라.
4 and if the household is too little for a lamb, then he and his neighbor next to his house shall take one according to the number of the souls. You shall make your count for the lamb according to what everyone can eat.and if the household be too little for a lamb, then shall he and his neighbor next unto his house take one according to the number of the souls; according to every man’s eating ye shall make your count for the lamb.만일 그 집 식구가 너무 적어 어린 양 한 마리를 다 먹지 못하겠으면, 그 사람과 그의 집에 가장 가까운 이웃이 사람 수에 따라 한 마리를 함께 마련하여라. 각 사람이 먹을 수 있는 양에 맞추어 어린 양의 수를 계산하여라.
5 Your lamb shall be without defect, a male a year old. You shall take it from the sheep or from the goats.Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:너희의 어린 양은 흠이 없는 일 년 된 수컷이어야 한다. 양 떼나 염소 떼에서 골라라.
6 You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at evening.and ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at even.그것을 이 달 열나흘째 되는 날까지 잘 간수하였다가, 이스라엘 온 회중의 무리가 해 질 무렵에 그것을 잡아라.
7 They shall take some of the blood, and put it on the two door posts and on the lintel, on the houses in which they shall eat it.And they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side-posts and on the lintel, upon the houses wherein they shall eat it.그리고 그 피를 얼마 받아다가, 그것을 먹을 집의 좌우 두 문설주와 문 위 인방에 바르라.
8 They shall eat the meat in that night, roasted with fire, with unleavened bread. They shall eat it with bitter herbs.And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter herbs they shall eat it.그날 밤에 그 고기를 불에 구워, 누룩 없는 빵과 쓴 나물과 함께 먹어라.
9 Don’t eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted with fire; with its head, its legs and its inner parts.Eat not of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; its head with its legs and with the inwards thereof.날것으로나 물에 삶아서는 안 되며, 머리와 다리와 내장까지 불에 구워서 먹어라.
10 You shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remains of it until the morning you shall burn with fire.And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.그것을 아침까지 조금도 남겨 두지 말고, 아침까지 남은 것은 불로 태워라.
11 This is how you shall eat it: with your belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: it is Yahweh’s Passover.And thus shall ye eat it: with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is Jehovah’s passover.너희는 이렇게 먹어라. 허리에 띠를 띠고, 발에 신을 신고, 손에 지팡이를 잡고, 급히 먹어라. 이것은 여호와의 유월절이다.
12 For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and animal. I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. I am Yahweh.For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am Jehovah.그날 밤에 내가 이집트 땅을 두루 다니며, 사람이든 짐승이든 이집트 땅의 처음 난 것을 모두 칠 것이며, 이집트의 모든 신에게 심판을 내릴 것이다. 나는 여호와다.
13 The blood shall be to you for a token on the houses where you are. When I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.그 피가 너희가 있는 집의 표적이 될 것이니, 내가 그 피를 볼 때 너희를 넘어가겠다. 내가 이집트 땅을 칠 때에 너희를 멸하는 재앙이 너희에게 미치지 않을 것이다.
14 This day shall be a memorial for you. You shall keep it as a feast to Yahweh. You shall keep it as a feast throughout your generations by an ordinance forever.And this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to Jehovah: throughout your generations ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.이날은 너희에게 기념일이 될 것이니, 너희는 이날을 여호와께 드리는 절기로 지켜라. 너희 대대로 영원한 규례로 이 절기를 지켜라.
15 “‘ Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away yeast out of your houses, for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.이레 동안 너희는 누룩 없는 빵을 먹어라. 첫째 날에 너희 집에서 누룩을 없애라. 누구든지 첫째 날부터 일곱째 날까지 누룩 든 빵을 먹는 사람은 이스라엘에서 끊어질 것이다.
16 In the first day there shall be to you a holy convocation, and in the seventh day a holy convocation; no kind of work shall be done in them, except that which every man must eat, only that may be done by you.And in the first day there shall be to you a holy convocation, and in the seventh day a holy convocation; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you.첫째 날에 너희는 거룩한 모임을 가지고, 일곱째 날에도 거룩한 모임을 가져라. 이 두 날에는 아무 일도 하지 말되, 각 사람이 먹을 음식을 마련하는 일만은 할 수 있다.
17 You shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this same day I have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt. Therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations by an ordinance forever.And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your hosts out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day throughout your generations by an ordinance for ever.너희는 무교절을 지켜라. 바로 이날에 내가 너희의 군대를 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 냈기 때문이다. 그러므로 너희는 대대로 영원한 규례로 이날을 지켜라.
18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty first day of the month at evening.In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.첫째 달 열나흘째 되는 날 저녁부터 그달 스무하루째 되는 날 저녁까지, 너희는 누룩 없는 빵을 먹어라.
19 There shall be no yeast found in your houses for seven days, for whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a foreigner, or one who is born in the land.Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a sojourner, or one that is born in the land.이레 동안 너희 집에 누룩이 있어서는 안 된다. 누구든지 누룩 든 것을 먹는 사람은, 그가 외국인이든 본토에서 난 사람이든, 이스라엘 회중에서 끊어질 것이다.
20 You shall eat nothing leavened. In all your habitations you shall eat unleavened bread.’”Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.너희는 누룩 든 것은 아무것도 먹지 말고, 너희가 사는 모든 곳에서 누룩 없는 빵을 먹어라.'"
21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, “ Draw out, and take lambs according to your families, and kill the Passover.Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out, and take you lambs according to your families, and kill the passover.그러자 모세가 이스라엘의 모든 장로를 불러 그들에게 말하였다. "가서 너희 가족을 따라 어린 양을 골라다가, 유월절 양을 잡아라.
22 You shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two door posts with the blood that is in the basin. None of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side-posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.그리고 우슬초 한 묶음을 가져다가 대야에 담긴 피에 적셔, 그 피를 문 위 인방과 좌우 두 문설주에 발라라. 너희 가운데 누구도 아침까지 자기 집 문 밖으로 나가지 말라.
23 For Yahweh will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood on the lintel, and on the two door posts, Yahweh will pass over the door, and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to strike you.For Jehovah will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side-posts, Jehovah will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.여호와께서 이집트 사람들을 치려고 두루 다니실 때, 문 위 인방과 좌우 두 문설주에 바른 피를 보시면, 여호와께서 그 문을 넘어가시고 멸하는 자가 너희 집에 들어와 너희를 치지 못하게 하실 것이다.
24 You shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever.And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.너희는 이 일을 너희와 너희 자손을 위한 영원한 규례로 지켜라.
25 It shall happen when you have come to the land which Yahweh will give you, as he has promised, that you shall keep this service.And it shall come to pass, when ye are come to the land which Jehovah will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.여호와께서 약속하신 대로 너희에게 주실 그 땅에 너희가 들어가거든, 이 예식을 지켜라.
26 It will happen, when your children ask you, ‘ What do you mean by this service?’And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?너희 자녀들이 너희에게 '이 예식이 무슨 뜻입니까?' 하고 물으면,
27 that you shall say, ‘ It is the sacrifice of Yahweh’s Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians, and spared our houses.’” The people bowed their heads and worshiped.that ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of Jehovah’s passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.너희는 이렇게 대답하여라. '이것은 여호와의 유월절 제사다. 여호와께서 이집트 사람들을 치실 때 이집트에 있던 이스라엘 자손의 집을 넘어가시어 우리 집을 살려 주셨기 때문이다.'" 그러자 백성은 머리를 숙여 경배하였다.
28 The children of Israel went and did so; as Yahweh had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.And the children of Israel went and did so; as Jehovah had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.이스라엘 자손은 가서 그대로 행하였다. 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 명하신 그대로 그들이 행하였다.
29 At midnight, Yahweh struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock.And it came to pass at midnight, that Jehovah smote all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the first-born of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the first-born of cattle.한밤중에 여호와께서 이집트 땅의 처음 난 것을 모두 치셨다. 왕좌에 앉은 바로의 맏아들로부터 감옥에 갇힌 포로의 맏아들까지, 그리고 가축의 처음 난 것까지 다 치셨다.
30 Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.그날 밤 바로와 그의 모든 신하와 모든 이집트 사람이 일어났는데, 이집트에 큰 통곡이 있었다. 죽은 사람이 없는 집이 하나도 없었기 때문이다.
31 He called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, “ Rise up, get out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel; and go, serve Yahweh, as you have said!And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve Jehovah, as ye have said.바로가 밤중에 모세와 아론을 불러 말하였다. "일어나라. 너희와 이스라엘 자손은 내 백성 가운데서 떠나가라. 너희가 말한 대로 가서 여호와를 섬겨라.
32 Take both your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone; and bless me also!”Take both your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.너희가 말한 대로 너희 양 떼와 소 떼도 데리고 떠나가라. 그리고 나를 위해서도 복을 빌어 달라."
33 The Egyptians were urgent with the people, to send them out of the land in haste, for they said, “ We are all dead men.”And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, to send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We are all dead men.이집트 사람들은 백성을 급히 그 땅에서 내보내려고 재촉하였다. 그들이 "우리가 모두 죽게 되었다" 하고 말하였기 때문이다.
34 The people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading troughs being bound up in their clothes on their shoulders.And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading-troughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.백성은 반죽이 부풀기 전에 그 반죽을 가져갔는데, 반죽 그릇을 옷에 싸서 어깨에 메었다.
35 The children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing.And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:이스라엘 자손은 모세가 말한 대로 행하여, 이집트 사람들에게 은붙이와 금붙이와 옷을 요구하였다.
36 Yahweh gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. They plundered the Egyptians.and Jehovah gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. And they despoiled the Egyptians.여호와께서 이집트 사람들이 백성에게 호의를 베풀게 하셔서, 그들이 요구하는 것을 내주게 하셨다. 이렇게 그들은 이집트 사람들의 물건을 가지고 나왔다.
37 The children of Israel traveled from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot who were men, in addition to children.And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, besides children.이스라엘 자손은 라암셋을 떠나 숙곳으로 갔는데, 어린아이 외에 걸어서 간 장정만 약 육십만 명이었다.
38 A mixed multitude went up also with them, with flocks, herds, and even very much livestock.And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.많은 잡족도 그들과 함께 올라갔고, 양 떼와 소 떼, 곧 매우 많은 가축도 함께 갔다.
39 They baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought out of Egypt; for it wasn’t leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt, and couldn’t wait, and they had not prepared any food for themselves.And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt; for it was not leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victuals.그들은 이집트에서 가지고 나온 반죽으로 누룩 없는 빵을 구웠다. 그것은 누룩이 들지 않았는데, 이집트에서 쫓겨나는 바람에 지체할 수 없었고 자기들을 위한 양식도 마련하지 못하였기 때문이다.
40 Now the time that the children of Israel lived in Egypt was four hundred thirty years.Now the time that the children of Israel dwelt in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.이스라엘 자손이 이집트에서 산 기간은 사백삼십 년이었다.
41 At the end of four hundred thirty years, to the day, all of Yahweh’s armies went out from the land of Egypt.And it came to pass at the end of four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of Jehovah went out from the land of Egypt.사백삼십 년이 끝나는 바로 그날에, 여호와의 모든 군대가 이집트 땅에서 나왔다.
42 It is a night to be much observed to Yahweh for bringing them out from the land of Egypt. This is that night of Yahweh, to be much observed by all the children of Israel throughout their generations.It is a night to be much observed unto Jehovah for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of Jehovah, to be much observed of all the children of Israel throughout their generations.이날은 여호와께서 그들을 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 내신 밤이니, 여호와를 위하여 크게 지킬 밤이다. 이날은 여호와의 밤이니, 이스라엘 모든 자손이 대대로 크게 지킬 밤이다.
43 Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron, “ This is the ordinance of the Passover. No foreigner shall eat of it,And Jehovah said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: there shall no foreigner eat thereof;여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨다. "이것은 유월절 규례다. 이방 사람은 아무도 그것을 먹지 못한다.
44 but every man’s servant who is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then shall he eat of it.but every man’s servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.그러나 돈으로 산 종은, 너희가 그에게 할례를 베푼 뒤에는 그것을 먹을 수 있다.
45 A foreigner and a hired servant shall not eat of it.A sojourner and a hired servant shall not eat thereof.거류민과 품꾼은 그것을 먹지 못한다.
46 It must be eaten in one house. You shall not carry any of the meat outside of the house. Do not break any of its bones.In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth aught of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.한 집 안에서 그것을 먹어야 하며, 그 고기를 집 밖으로 조금도 내가지 말고, 그 뼈도 하나 꺾지 말라.
47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.이스라엘 온 회중은 이 절기를 지켜야 한다.
48 When a stranger lives as a foreigner with you, and would like to keep the Passover to Yahweh, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it. He shall be as one who is born in the land; but no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to Jehovah, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: but no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.너희와 함께 사는 외국인이 여호와께 유월절을 지키려 하거든, 그의 모든 남자가 할례를 받게 하라. 그런 다음에야 그가 가까이 나아와 그것을 지킬 수 있으니, 그는 본토에서 난 사람과 같이 될 것이다. 그러나 할례받지 않은 사람은 아무도 그것을 먹지 못한다.
49 One law shall be to him who is born at home, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you.”One law shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.본토에서 난 사람에게나 너희 가운데 사는 외국인에게나 같은 법이 적용될 것이다."
50 All the children of Israel did so. As Yahweh commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.Thus did all the children of Israel; as Jehovah commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.이스라엘 모든 자손이 그대로 행하였다. 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 명하신 그대로 그들이 행하였다.
51 That same day, Yahweh brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.And it came to pass the selfsame day, that Jehovah did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.바로 그날에 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손을 그들의 군대대로 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 내셨다.
