1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went forth out of the land of Egypt by their hosts under the hand of Moses and Aaron.이것은 이스라엘 자손이 모세와 아론의 인도를 받아 부대를 이루어 이집트 땅에서 나올 때에 거쳤던 여정의 기록이다.
2 Moses wrote the starting points of their journeys by the commandment of Yahweh. These are their journeys according to their starting points.And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of Jehovah: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.모세가 여호와의 명령을 따라 그들이 떠나간 경로대로 행로를 기록하였으니, 이것이 그 행로를 따른 여정의 기록이다.

Yahweh also executed judgments on their gods.while the Egyptians were burying all their first-born, whom Jehovah had smitten among them: upon their gods also Jehovah executed judgments.그때 이집트 사람들은 여호와께서 그들 가운데서 치신 모든 맏아들을 장사 지내고 있었다. 여호와께서는 그들의 신들에게도 심판을 내리셨다.
5 The children of Israel traveled from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth.And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth.이스라엘 자손은 라암셋에서 출발하여 숙곳에 진을 쳤다.

They went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.And they journeyed from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness: and they went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.비하히롯 앞에서 출발하여 바다 한가운데를 지나 광야로 들어갔고, 에담 광야에서 사흘 길을 걸어 마라에 진을 쳤다.

39 Aaron was one hundred twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.And Aaron was a hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.아론이 호르 산에서 죽을 때에 그의 나이는 백스물세 살이었다.

50 Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,여호와께서 여리고 맞은편 요단 강 가 모압 평지에서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
51 Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, “ When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,"이스라엘 자손에게 말하여 이르라. 너희가 요단 강을 건너 가나안 땅에 들어가거든,
52 then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their stone idols, destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places.then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places:그 땅에 사는 모든 주민을 너희 앞에서 쫓아내고, 그들의 새긴 돌 우상을 다 부수며, 부어 만든 모든 형상을 다 부수고, 그들의 산당을 다 헐어 버려라.
53 You shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for I have given the land to you to possess it.and ye shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for unto you have I given the land to possess it.너희는 그 땅을 차지하여 거기 거주하여라. 내가 그 땅을 너희에게 주어 차지하게 하였다.
54 You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the larger groups you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.And ye shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer thou shalt give the less inheritance: wheresoever the lot falleth to any man, that shall be his; according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye inherit.너희는 가문별로 제비를 뽑아 그 땅을 유산으로 받되, 수가 많은 자손에게는 더 많은 유산을 주고 수가 적은 자손에게는 더 적은 유산을 주어라. 누구든지 제비가 떨어지는 곳이 그의 몫이 되리니, 너희 조상의 지파를 따라 유산으로 받아라.
55 “ But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be like pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will harass you in the land in which you dwell.But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then shall those that ye let remain of them be as pricks in your eyes, and as thorns in your sides, and they shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.그러나 너희가 그 땅에 사는 주민을 너희 앞에서 쫓아내지 않으면, 너희가 남겨 둔 자들이 너희 눈에 가시가 되고 너희 옆구리에 찌르는 것이 되어, 너희가 사는 땅에서 너희를 괴롭게 할 것이다.
56 It shall happen that as I thought to do to them, so I will do to you.”And it shall come to pass, that, as I thought to do unto them, so will I do unto you.그리고 내가 그들에게 행하려고 생각한 대로 너희에게 행하리라."
