1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
2 “ Command the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘ When you come into the land of Canaan ( this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders ),Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan ( this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to the borders thereof),“이스라엘 자손에게 명령하여 그들에게 이르라. ‘너희가 가나안 땅에 들어가면, 그 땅이 너희에게 기업으로 돌아올 것이니, 곧 그 경계대로의 가나안 땅이다.
3 then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward.then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward;너희의 남쪽 지역은 신 광야에서부터 에돔 곁을 따라 이어지고, 너희의 남쪽 경계는 동쪽으로 소금 바다 끝에서부터 시작된다.
4 Your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and it shall pass southward of Kadesh Barnea; and it shall go from there to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon.and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out thereof shall be southward of Kadesh-barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon;너희의 경계는 아그랍빔 비탈 남쪽으로 돌아 신을 지나가며, 그 끝은 가데스 바네아 남쪽에 이르고, 다시 하살 아달로 나아가 아스몬을 지난다.
5 The border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the sea.and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the sea.그 경계는 아스몬에서 이집트 시내로 돌아 그 끝이 바다에 이를 것이다.
6 “‘ For the western border, you shall have the great sea and its border. This shall be your west border.And for the western border, ye shall have the great sea and the border thereof: this shall be your west border.서쪽 경계로는 너희가 큰 바다와 그 연안을 가질 것이니, 이것이 너희의 서쪽 경계가 된다.
7 “‘ This shall be your north border: from the great sea you shall mark out for yourselves Mount Hor.And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall mark out for you mount Hor;너희의 북쪽 경계는 이러하다. 큰 바다에서부터 호르산까지 너희가 그어 표시할 것이며,
8 From Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the border shall pass by Zedad.from mount Hor ye shall mark out unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad;호르산에서부터 하맛 어귀까지 그어 표시하면, 그 경계의 끝은 스닷에 이른다.
9 Then the border shall go to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your north border.and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out thereof shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border.그 경계는 시브론으로 나아가 그 끝이 하살 에난에 이를 것이니, 이것이 너희의 북쪽 경계가 된다.
10 “‘You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham.And ye shall mark out your east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham;너희의 동쪽 경계는 하살 에난에서부터 스밤까지 그어 표시할 것이다.
11 The border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain. The border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;그 경계는 스밤에서 아인 동쪽의 리블라로 내려가고, 다시 내려가 동쪽으로 긴네렛 바다 곁에 이른다.
12 The border shall go down to the Jordan, and end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.’”and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about.그 경계는 요단으로 내려가 그 끝이 소금 바다에 이를 것이다. 이것이 그 사방 경계대로의 너희 땅이 될 것이다.’”
13 Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, “ This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which Jehovah hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;모세가 이스라엘 자손에게 명령하여 말하였다. “이것은 너희가 제비를 뽑아 받을 땅이니, 여호와께서 아홉 지파와 반 지파에게 주라고 명령하신 것이다.
14 for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:르우벤 자손의 지파는 그들의 조상 가문대로, 갓 자손의 지파는 그들의 조상 가문대로 이미 기업을 받았고, 므낫세 반 지파도 그들의 기업을 받았으니,
15 The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.이 두 지파와 반 지파는 여리고 맞은편 요단 동쪽, 곧 해 뜨는 쪽에서 그들의 기업을 받았다.”
16 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
17 “These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.These are the names of the men that shall divide the land unto you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.“너희에게 그 땅을 기업으로 나누어 줄 사람들의 이름은 이러하다. 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아이다.
18 You shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.또 너희는 각 지파에서 지도자 한 사람씩을 택하여 그 땅을 기업으로 나누게 하라.
19 These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.And these are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.그 사람들의 이름은 이러하다. 유다 지파에서는 여분네의 아들 갈렙이다.
20 Of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.시므온 자손의 지파에서는 암미훗의 아들 스무엘이다.
21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.베냐민 지파에서는 기슬론의 아들 엘리닷이다.
22 Of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.And of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.단 자손의 지파에서는 지도자 요글리의 아들 북기이다.
23 Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.요셉 자손 가운데 므낫세 자손의 지파에서는 지도자 에봇의 아들 한니엘이다.
24 Of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.And of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.에브라임 자손의 지파에서는 지도자 십단의 아들 그무엘이다.
25 Of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.And of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.스불론 자손의 지파에서는 지도자 바르낙의 아들 엘리사반이다.
26 Of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.And of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.잇사갈 자손의 지파에서는 지도자 앗산의 아들 발디엘이다.
27 Of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.And of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.아셀 자손의 지파에서는 지도자 슬로미의 아들 아히훗이다.
28 Of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”And of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.납달리 자손의 지파에서는 지도자 암미훗의 아들 브다헬이다.”
29 These are they whom Yahweh commanded to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.These are they whom Jehovah commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.이들은 여호와께서 가나안 땅에서 이스라엘 자손에게 기업을 나누라고 명령하신 사람들이다.
