1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
2 “ Speak to Aaron, and tell him, ‘ When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lamp stand.’”Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the candlestick."아론에게 말하여 이르라. '네가 등불을 켤 때에 그 일곱 등불이 등잔대 앞쪽을 비추게 하여라.'"
3 Aaron did so. He lit its lamps to light the area in front of the lamp stand, as Yahweh commanded Moses.And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof so as to give light in front of the candlestick, as Jehovah commanded Moses.아론이 그대로 행하였다. 그는 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 등불을 켜서 등잔대 앞쪽을 비추게 하였다.
4 This was the workmanship of the lamp stand, beaten work of gold. From its base to its flowers, it was beaten work. He made the lamp stand according to the pattern which Yahweh had shown Moses.And this was the work of the candlestick, beaten work of gold; unto the base thereof, and unto the flowers thereof, it was beaten work: according unto the pattern which Jehovah had showed Moses, so he made the candlestick.그 등잔대는 이렇게 만들어졌다. 밑받침에서 꽃 모양에 이르기까지 금을 두드려 만든 것이었으니, 여호와께서 모세에게 보여 주신 양식대로 그가 등잔대를 만들었다.
5 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
6 “ Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them."이스라엘 자손 가운데서 레위 사람들을 데려다가 그들을 정결하게 하여라.
7 You shall do this to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of cleansing on them, let them shave their whole bodies with a razor, let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves.And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of expiation upon them, and let them cause a razor to pass over all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves.그들을 정결하게 하려면 이렇게 하여라. 정결하게 하는 물을 그들에게 뿌리고, 그들의 온몸을 면도칼로 밀게 하고, 그들의 옷을 빨게 하여 스스로 정결하게 하여라.
8 Then let them take a young bull and its meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil; and another young bull you shall take for a sin offering.Then let them take a young bullock, and its meal-offering, fine flour mingled with oil; and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin-offering.그런 다음 그들에게 어린 수송아지 한 마리와 그 소제물 곧 기름을 섞은 고운 가루를 가져오게 하고, 너는 또 다른 어린 수송아지 한 마리를 속죄제물로 가져오너라.
9 You shall present the Levites before the Tent of Meeting. You shall assemble the whole congregation of the children of Israel.And thou shalt present the Levites before the tent of meeting: and thou shalt assemble the whole congregation of the children of Israel:너는 레위 사람들을 회막 앞으로 데려오고, 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중을 모아라.
10 You shall present the Levites before Yahweh. The children of Israel shall lay their hands on the Levites,and thou shalt present the Levites before Jehovah. And the children of Israel shall lay their hands upon the Levites:너는 레위 사람들을 여호와 앞에 나오게 하고, 이스라엘 자손은 그들의 손을 레위 사람들 위에 얹어라.
11 and Aaron shall offer the Levites before Yahweh for a wave offering on the behalf of the children of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of Yahweh.and Aaron shall offer the Levites before Jehovah for a wave-offering, on the behalf of the children of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of Jehovah.아론은 레위 사람들을 이스라엘 자손을 대신하여 여호와 앞에 요제로 드려야 하니, 이는 그들이 여호와의 일을 하게 하려는 것이다.
12 “ The Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to Yahweh, to make atonement for the Levites.And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and offer thou the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, unto Jehovah, to make atonement for the Levites."레위 사람들은 그 수송아지들의 머리 위에 손을 얹고, 너는 그 하나를 속죄제물로, 다른 하나를 번제물로 여호와께 드려 레위 사람들을 위하여 속죄하여라.
13 You shall set the Levites before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them as a wave offering to Yahweh.And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for a wave-offering unto Jehovah.너는 레위 사람들을 아론과 그 아들들 앞에 세우고, 그들을 여호와께 요제로 드려라.
14 Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine.Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine.이같이 너는 레위 사람들을 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 구별하여라. 그리하면 레위 사람들이 내 것이 될 것이다.
15 “After that, the Levites shall go in to do the service of the Tent of Meeting. You shall cleanse them, and offer them as a wave offering.And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tent of meeting: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for a wave-offering.그 후에 레위 사람들이 들어가서 회막의 일을 하게 될 것이니, 너는 그들을 정결하게 하고 요제로 드려라.
16 For they are wholly given to me from among the children of Israel; instead of all who open the womb, even the firstborn of all the children of Israel, I have taken them to me.For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of all that openeth the womb, even the first-born of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.그들은 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 온전히 내게 바쳐진 자들이다. 이스라엘 자손 가운데 태를 처음 여는 모든 자, 곧 모든 처음 난 자를 대신하여 내가 그들을 내 것으로 삼았다.
17 For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are mine, both man and animal. On the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified them for myself.For all the first-born among the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote all the first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.이스라엘 자손 가운데 처음 난 것은 사람이든 짐승이든 다 내 것이다. 내가 이집트 땅에서 모든 처음 난 것을 친 날에 그들을 나를 위하여 거룩하게 구별하였다.
18 I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel.And I have taken the Levites instead of all the first-born among the children of Israel.내가 이스라엘 자손 가운데 모든 처음 난 자를 대신하여 레위 사람들을 취하였다.
19 I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel, so that there will be no plague among the children of Israel when the children of Israel come near to the sanctuary.”And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel; that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.내가 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 레위 사람들을 취하여 아론과 그 아들들에게 선물로 주었으니, 이는 그들이 회막에서 이스라엘 자손의 일을 하게 하고 이스라엘 자손을 위하여 속죄하게 하여, 이스라엘 자손이 성소에 가까이 나아올 때에 그들 가운데 재앙이 없게 하려는 것이다."
20 Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel did so to the Levites. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them.Thus did Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the Levites: according unto all that Jehovah commanded Moses touching the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.모세와 아론과 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 레위 사람들에게 그대로 행하였다. 여호와께서 레위 사람들에 관하여 모세에게 명하신 모든 것을 따라 이스라엘 자손이 그들에게 그대로 행하였다.
21 The Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them for a wave offering before Yahweh and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.And the Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes: and Aaron offered them for a wave-offering before Jehovah; and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.레위 사람들이 죄에서 스스로 정결하게 하고 그들의 옷을 빨았다. 아론이 그들을 여호와 앞에 요제로 드리고, 또 그들을 위하여 속죄하여 정결하게 하였다.
22 After that, the Levites went in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aaron and before his sons: as Yahweh had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tent of meeting before Aaron, and before his sons: as Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.그 후에 레위 사람들이 들어가서 아론과 그 아들들 앞에서 회막의 일을 하였다. 여호와께서 레위 사람들에 관하여 모세에게 명하신 대로 그들에게 그렇게 행하였다.
23 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
24 “ This is what is assigned to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service in the work of the Tent of Meeting;This is that which belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service in the work of the tent of meeting:"레위 사람들에게 해당하는 규례는 이러하다. 스물다섯 살 이상 된 자는 회막의 일하는 봉사에 들어가 섬길 것이요,
25 and from the age of fifty years they shall retire from doing the work, and shall serve no more,and from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the work, and shall serve no more,쉰 살이 되면 그 일하는 봉사에서 물러나 더 이상 섬기지 않을 것이다.
26 but shall assist their brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to perform the duty, and shall perform no service. This is how you shall have the Levites do their duties.”but shall minister with their brethren in the tent of meeting, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charges.다만 회막에서 그 형제들과 함께 직무를 지킬 수는 있으나 봉사하는 일은 하지 못한다. 너는 레위 사람들의 직무에 관하여 이같이 행하여라."
