1 Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Cushite woman.And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married; for he had married a Cushite woman.미리암과 아론이 모세가 맞이한 구스 여인 때문에 그를 비방하였다. 모세가 구스 여인을 아내로 맞이하였기 때문이다.
2 They said, “ Has Yahweh indeed spoken only with Moses? Hasn’t he spoken also with us?” And Yahweh heard it.And they said, Hath Jehovah indeed spoken only with Moses? hath he not spoken also with us? And Jehovah heard it.그들이 말하였다. "여호와께서 모세만을 통하여 말씀하셨느냐? 우리를 통하여도 말씀하지 아니하셨느냐?" 여호와께서 이 말을 들으셨다.
3 Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all the men who were on the surface of the earth.Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men that were upon the face of the earth.모세라는 사람은 매우 온유하여, 땅 위에 사는 모든 사람보다 더 온유하였다.
4 Yahweh spoke suddenly to Moses, to Aaron, and to Miriam, “ You three come out to the Tent of Meeting!” The three of them came out.And Jehovah spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tent of meeting. And they three came out.여호와께서 갑자기 모세와 아론과 미리암에게 말씀하셨다. "너희 세 사람은 회막으로 나오너라." 그들 세 사람이 나아갔다.
5 Yahweh came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the Tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forward.And Jehovah came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the door of the Tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forth.여호와께서 구름 기둥 가운데 내려오셔서 회막 문에 서시고 아론과 미리암을 부르시니, 두 사람이 앞으로 나아갔다.
6 He said, “ Now hear my words. If there is a prophet among you, I, Yahweh, will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.And he said, Hear now my words: if there be a prophet among you, I Jehovah will make myself known unto him in a vision, I will speak with him in a dream.그분께서 말씀하셨다. "이제 내 말을 들어라. 너희 가운데 선지자가 있으면 나 여호와가 환상으로 나 자신을 그에게 알리고 꿈으로 그와 말하겠다.
7 My servant Moses is not so. He is faithful in all my house.My servant Moses is not so; he is faithful in all my house:그러나 내 종 모세는 그렇지 아니하니, 그는 내 온 집에 충성된 자이다.
8 With him, I will speak mouth to mouth, even plainly, and not in riddles; and he shall see Yahweh’s form. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?”with him will I speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly, and not in dark speeches; and the form of Jehovah shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?내가 그와는 입과 입을 마주하여 분명하게 말하고 수수께끼로 하지 아니하니, 그는 여호와의 형상을 본다. 그런데 너희가 어찌하여 두려워하지 않고 내 종 모세를 비방하였느냐?"
9 Yahweh’s anger burned against them; and he departed.And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against them; and he departed.여호와께서 그들에게 진노하시고 떠나가셨다.
10 The cloud departed from over the Tent; and behold, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow. Aaron looked at Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.And the cloud removed from over the Tent; and, behold, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.구름이 회막 위에서 떠나가니, 보라, 미리암이 나병에 걸려 눈처럼 희게 되었다. 아론이 미리암을 보니, 보라, 그가 나병에 걸려 있었다.
11 Aaron said to Moses, “ Oh, my lord, please don’t count this sin against us, in which we have done foolishly, and in which we have sinned.And Aaron said unto Moses, Oh, my lord, lay not, I pray thee, sin upon us, for that we have done foolishly, and for that we have sinned.아론이 모세에게 말하였다. "내 주여, 청하건대 우리가 어리석게 행하여 지은 이 죄를 우리에게 돌리지 마십시오.
12 Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb.”Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother’s womb.청하건대 그가 어머니 태에서 나올 때 살이 반이나 썩은 죽은 자처럼 되지 않게 하여 주십시오."
13 Moses cried to Yahweh, saying, “ Heal her, God, I beg you!”And Moses cried unto Jehovah, saying, Heal her, O God, I beseech thee.모세가 여호와께 부르짖어 말하였다. "하나님이여, 간구하오니 그를 고쳐 주십시오!"
14 Yahweh said to Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, shouldn’t she be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut up outside of the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again.”And Jehovah said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut up without the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again.여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. "그의 아버지가 그의 얼굴에 침을 뱉었더라도 그가 이레 동안 부끄러워하지 않겠느냐? 그를 이레 동안 진영 밖에 가두어 두고 그 후에 다시 들어오게 하여라."
15 Miriam was shut up outside of the camp seven days, and the people didn’t travel until Miriam was brought in again.And Miriam was shut up without the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.미리암이 이레 동안 진영 밖에 갇혀 있었고, 미리암이 다시 들어올 때까지 백성이 길을 떠나지 아니하였다.
16 Afterward the people traveled from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.And afterward the people journeyed from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.그 후에 백성이 하세롯을 떠나 바란 광야에 진을 쳤다.
