1 At the end of twenty years, in which Solomon had built Yahweh’s house and his own house,And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, wherein Solomon had built the house of Jehovah, and his own house,솔로몬이 여호와의 성전과 자기 왕궁을 짓는 데 이십 년이 지난 뒤에,

5 Also he built Beth Horon the upper and Beth Horon the lower, fortified cities with walls, gates, and bars;Also he built Beth-horon the upper, and Beth-horon the nether, fortified cities, with walls, gates, and bars;또 윗 벧호론과 아랫 벧호론을 건설하였는데, 이는 성벽과 성문과 빗장을 갖춘 견고한 성읍이었다.
6 and Baalath, and all the storage cities that Solomon had, and all the cities for his chariots, the cities for his horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build for his pleasure in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.and Baalath, and all the store-cities that Solomon had, and all the cities for his chariots, and the cities for his horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build for his pleasure in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.또 바알랏과 솔로몬이 가진 모든 국고성과 병거를 두는 모든 성읍과 마병을 두는 성읍들을 건설하였고, 예루살렘과 레바논과 그가 다스리는 온 땅에서 자기가 짓고 싶은 것은 무엇이든지 건설하였다.
7 As for all the people who were left of the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of Israel —As for all the people that were left of the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, that were not of Israel;이스라엘 자손이 아닌 사람들, 곧 헷 사람과 아모리 사람과 브리스 사람과 히위 사람과 여부스 사람 중에 남아 있던 모든 백성,
8 of their children who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel didn’t consume — of them Solomon conscripted forced labor to this day.of their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel consumed not, of them did Solomon raise a levy of bondservants unto this day.곧 그 땅에 남아 있던 그들의 자손으로 이스라엘 자손이 멸하지 못한 자들에게서, 솔로몬은 오늘날까지 노역을 부과하였다.
9 But of the children of Israel, Solomon made no servants for his work, but they were men of war, chief of his captains, and rulers of his chariots and of his horsemen.But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no servants for his work; but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and rulers of his chariots and of his horsemen.그러나 이스라엘 자손은 솔로몬이 자기 일에 종으로 삼지 않았으니, 그들은 군사와 지휘관의 우두머리와 병거와 마병을 다스리는 자들이 되었다.
10 These were the chief officers of King Solomon, even two-hundred fifty, who ruled over the people.And these were the chief officers of king Solomon, even two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people.이들은 솔로몬 왕의 주요 관리들로서, 이백오십 명이 백성을 다스렸다.
11 Solomon brought up Pharaoh’s daughter out of David’s city to the house that he had built for her; for he said, “ My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places where Yahweh’s ark has come are holy.”And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her; for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of Jehovah hath come.솔로몬이 바로의 딸을 다윗 성에서 자기가 그녀를 위하여 지은 궁으로 데려왔으니, 이는 그가 "내 아내는 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 궁에 살 수 없으니, 여호와의 궤가 이른 곳은 거룩하기 때문이다"라고 말하였기 때문이다.
12 Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to Yahweh on Yahweh’s altar which he had built before the porch,Then Solomon offered burnt-offerings unto Jehovah on the altar of Jehovah, which he had built before the porch,그때에 솔로몬이 현관 앞에 쌓은 여호와의 제단 위에서 여호와께 번제를 드렸다.
13 even as the duty of every day required, offering according to the commandment of Moses on the Sabbaths, on the new moons, and on the set feasts, three times per year, during the feast of unleavened bread, during the feast of weeks, and during the feast of booths.even as the duty of every day required, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.곧 날마다 드려야 할 의무대로, 모세의 명령을 따라 안식일과 초하루와 정해진 절기, 곧 한 해에 세 번 곧 무교절과 칠칠절과 초막절에 제사를 드렸다.
14 He appointed, according to the ordinance of David his father, the divisions of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their offices, to praise and to minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required, the doorkeepers also by their divisions at every gate, for David the man of God had so commanded.And he appointed, according to the ordinance of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their offices, to praise, and to minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required; the doorkeepers also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.그는 자기 아버지 다윗의 규례를 따라 제사장들의 반열을 정하여 그들의 직무를 맡기고, 레위 사람들도 그들의 임무에 따라 찬송하고 제사장들 앞에서 섬기게 하되 날마다 해야 할 의무대로 하게 하였으며, 문지기들도 각 문에서 그들의 반열을 따라 섬기게 하였으니, 이는 하나님의 사람 다윗이 그렇게 명령하였기 때문이다.
15 They didn’t depart from the commandment of the king to the priests and Levites concerning any matter or concerning the treasures.And they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priests and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.그들은 제사장과 레위 사람에 관한 어떤 일에서도, 또 곳간에 관한 일에서도 왕의 명령을 떠나지 않았다.
16 Now all the work of Solomon was accomplished from the day of the foundation of Yahweh’s house until it was finished. So Yahweh’s house was completed.Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of Jehovah, and until it was finished. So the house of Jehovah was completed.이와 같이 여호와의 성전 기초를 놓는 날부터 그것이 완성될 때까지 솔로몬의 모든 일이 준비되었다. 그리하여 여호와의 성전이 완공되었다.
17 Then Solomon went to Ezion Geber and to Eloth, on the seashore in the land of Edom.Then went Solomon to Ezion-geber, and to Eloth, on the sea-shore in the land of Edom.그때에 솔로몬이 에돔 땅 바닷가에 있는 에시온게벨과 엘롯으로 갔다.
18 Huram sent him ships and servants who had knowledge of the sea by the hands of his servants; and they came with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and brought from there four hundred fifty talents of gold, and brought them to King Solomon.And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they came with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and fetched from thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.후람이 자기 종들의 손을 통하여 그에게 배들과 바다에 익숙한 종들을 보내니, 그들이 솔로몬의 종들과 함께 오빌로 가서 거기서 금 사백오십 달란트를 가져다가 솔로몬 왕에게 바쳤다.
