10 He built towers in the wilderness, and dug out many cisterns, for he had much livestock, both in the lowlands and in the plains. 15 In Jerusalem, he made devices, invented by skillful men, to be on the towers and on the battlements, with which to shoot arrows and great stones. 18 They resisted Uzziah the king, and said to him, “ It isn’t for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to Yahweh, but for the priests the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense. Go out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed. It will not be for your honor from Yahweh God.”and they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It pertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto Jehovah, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honor from Jehovah God.웃시야 왕에게 맞서며 말하였다. "웃시야여, 여호와께 분향하는 것은 당신의 일이 아니라 분향하도록 거룩히 구별된 제사장들, 곧 아론의 자손들의 일입니다. 성소에서 나가십시오. 당신이 범죄하였으니, 이 일은 여호와 하나님께로부터 당신에게 영광이 되지 않을 것입니다."
19 Then Uzziah was angry. He had a censer in his hand to burn incense, and while he was angry with the priests, the leprosy broke out on his forehead before the priests in Yahweh’s house, beside the altar of incense.Then Uzziah was wroth; and he had a censer in his hand to burn incense; and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy brake forth in his forehead before the priests in the house of Jehovah, beside the altar of incense.그러자 웃시야가 노하였다. 그가 손에 분향할 향로를 들고 제사장들에게 분을 내고 있을 때, 여호와의 성전 안 분향 제단 곁에서 제사장들이 보는 앞에서 그의 이마에 나병이 돋아났다.
20 Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and behold, he was leprous in his forehead; and they thrust him out quickly from there. Indeed, he himself also hurried to go out, because Yahweh had struck him.And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out quickly from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because Jehovah had smitten him.대제사장 아사랴와 모든 제사장이 그를 바라보니, 보라, 그의 이마에 나병이 생겼다. 그래서 그들이 그를 거기서 급히 내쫓았고, 여호와께서 그를 치셨으므로 그 자신도 서둘러 나갔다.
21 Uzziah the king was a leper to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house, being a leper; for he was cut off from Yahweh’s house. Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a separate house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of Jehovah: and Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.웃시야 왕은 죽는 날까지 나병 환자가 되어 별도의 집에 살았으니, 나병 환자였기에 여호와의 성전에서 끊어졌기 때문이다. 그의 아들 요담이 왕궁을 관리하며 그 땅의 백성을 다스렸다.
