1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,And Jehovah spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨다.
2 “ Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘ These are the living things which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth.Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the living things which ye may eat among all the beasts that are on the earth."이스라엘 자손에게 이렇게 일러라. '땅에 사는 모든 짐승 가운데 너희가 먹을 수 있는 생물은 이러하다.
3 Whatever parts the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and chews the cud among the animals, that you may eat.Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that may ye eat.짐승 가운데 굽이 갈라져 쪽발이 되고 새김질하는 것은 너희가 먹을 수 있다.
4 “‘ Nevertheless these you shall not eat of those that chew the cud, or of those who part the hoof: the camel, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that part the hoof: the camel, because he cheweth the cud but parteth not the hoof, he is unclean unto you.그러나 새김질하거나 굽이 갈라진 것 가운데 이런 것들은 먹지 마라. 낙타는 새김질은 하지만 굽이 갈라지지 않았으니 너희에게 부정하다.
5 The hyrax, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.And the coney, because he cheweth the cud but parteth not the hoof, he is unclean unto you.바위너구리도 새김질은 하지만 굽이 갈라지지 않았으니 너희에게 부정하다.
6 The hare, because it chews the cud but doesn’t have a parted hoof, is unclean to you.And the hare, because she cheweth the cud but parteth not the hoof, she is unclean unto you.토끼도 새김질은 하지만 굽이 갈라지지 않았으니 너희에게 부정하다.
7 The pig, because it has a split hoof, and is cloven-footed, but doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you.And the swine, because he parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, but cheweth not the cud, he is unclean unto you.돼지는 굽이 갈라져 쪽발이지만 새김질을 하지 않으니 너희에게 부정하다.
8 You shall not eat their meat. You shall not touch their carcasses. They are unclean to you.Of their flesh ye shall not eat, and their carcasses ye shall not touch; they are unclean unto you.너희는 이런 짐승의 고기를 먹지 말고 그 주검도 만지지 마라. 그것들은 너희에게 부정하다.
9 “‘ You may eat of all these that are in the waters: whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that you may eat.These may ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that may ye eat.물속에 있는 모든 것 가운데 이런 것을 먹을 수 있다. 바다든 강이든 물속에 사는 것 가운데 지느러미와 비늘이 있는 것은 너희가 먹을 수 있다.
10 All that don’t have fins and scales in the seas and rivers, all that move in the waters, and all the living creatures that are in the waters, they are an abomination to you,And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of all the living creatures that are in the waters, they are an abomination unto you,그러나 바다나 강에 사는 모든 것, 곧 물속에서 움직이는 모든 것과 물속에 사는 모든 생물 가운데 지느러미와 비늘이 없는 것은 너희에게 혐오스러운 것이다.
11 and you shall detest them. You shall not eat of their meat, and you shall detest their carcasses.and they shall be an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, and their carcasses ye shall have in abomination.너희는 그것들을 역겹게 여겨라. 그 고기를 먹지 말고 그 주검을 혐오스럽게 여겨라.
12 Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters is an abomination to you.Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that is an abomination unto you.물속에 있는 것 가운데 지느러미와 비늘이 없는 것은 너희에게 혐오스러운 것이다.
13 “‘ You shall detest these among the birds; they shall not be eaten because they are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,And these ye shall have in abomination among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the gier-eagle, and the ospray,새 가운데 너희가 혐오스럽게 여길 것은 이러하다. 이것들은 먹지 마라. 혐오스러운 것이다. 독수리와 솔개와 검은 독수리,
14 the red kite, any kind of black kite,and the kite, and the falcon after its kind,붉은 솔개와 각종 검은 솔개,
15 any kind of raven,every raven after its kind,각종 까마귀,
16 the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk,and the ostrich, and the night-hawk, and the sea-mew, and the hawk after its kind,뿔 달린 올빼미와 부엉이와 갈매기와 각종 매,
17 the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl,and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,작은 올빼미와 가마우지와 큰 올빼미,
18 the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey,and the horned owl, and the pelican, and the vulture,흰 올빼미와 사막 올빼미와 물수리,
19 the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe, and the bat.and the stork, the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.황새와 각종 왜가리와 후투티와 박쥐다.
20 “‘ All flying insects that walk on all fours are an abomination to you.All winged creeping things that go upon all fours are an abomination unto you.네 발로 기어 다니는 날개 달린 곤충은 모두 너희에게 혐오스러운 것이다.
21 Yet you may eat these: of all winged creeping things that go on all fours, which have long, jointed legs for hopping on the earth.Yet these may ye eat of all winged creeping things that go upon all fours, which have legs above their feet, wherewith to leap upon the earth;그러나 네 발로 기어 다니는 날개 달린 것 가운데 땅에서 뛰기 위한 다리가 발 위에 있는 것은 먹을 수 있다.
22 Even of these you may eat: any kind of locust, any kind of katydid, any kind of cricket, and any kind of grasshopper.even these of them ye may eat: the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind.그 가운데 이런 것은 먹을 수 있다. 각종 메뚜기와 각종 베짱이와 각종 귀뚜라미와 각종 풀무치다.
23 But all winged creeping things which have four feet are an abomination to you.But all winged creeping things, which have four feet, are an abomination unto you.그러나 네 발 달린 날개 있는 기는 것은 모두 너희에게 혐오스러운 것이다.
24 “‘ By these you will become unclean: whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.And by these ye shall become unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcass of them shall be unclean until the even;너희는 이런 것들로 부정해진다. 그 주검을 만지는 사람은 누구든 저녁까지 부정하다.
25 Whoever carries any part of their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.and whosoever beareth aught of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.그 주검의 일부라도 옮기는 사람은 옷을 빨아야 하며 저녁까지 부정하다.
26 “‘ Every animal which has a split hoof that isn’t completely divided, or doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you. Everyone who touches them shall be unclean.Every beast which parteth the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, is unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.굽이 갈라졌으나 쪽발이 아니거나 새김질하지 않는 짐승은 모두 너희에게 부정하다. 그것을 만지는 사람은 누구든 부정해진다.
27 Whatever goes on its paws, among all animals that go on all fours, they are unclean to you. Whoever touches their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.And whatsoever goeth upon its paws, among all beasts that go on all fours, they are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcass shall be unclean until the even.네 발로 다니는 모든 짐승 가운데 발바닥으로 다니는 것은 너희에게 부정하다. 그 주검을 만지는 사람은 누구든 저녁까지 부정하다.
28 He who carries their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. They are unclean to you.And he that beareth the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.그 주검을 옮기는 사람은 옷을 빨아야 하며 저녁까지 부정하다. 그것들은 너희에게 부정하다.
29 “‘ These are they which are unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard,And these are they which are unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the great lizard after its kind,땅에 기어 다니는 것 가운데 너희에게 부정한 것은 이러하다. 족제비와 쥐와 각종 큰 도마뱀,
30 the gecko, and the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink, and the chameleon.and the gecko, and the land-crocodile, and the lizard, and the sand-lizard, and the chameleon.도마뱀붙이와 왕도마뱀과 벽도마뱀과 사막도마뱀과 카멜레온이다.
31 These are they which are unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until the evening.These are they which are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they are dead, shall be unclean until the even.기어 다니는 모든 것 가운데 이런 것이 너희에게 부정하다. 그것들이 죽은 뒤에 만지는 사람은 누구든 저녁까지 부정하다.
32 Anything they fall on when they are dead shall be unclean; whether it is any vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or sack, whatever vessel it is, with which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening. Then it will be clean.And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherewith any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; then shall it be clean.그것들이 죽어서 그 위에 떨어진 것은 무엇이든 부정해진다. 나무 그릇이든 옷이든 가죽이든 자루든, 일에 쓰이는 어떤 그릇이든 물에 담가야 하며 저녁까지 부정하다. 그런 다음에야 정결해진다.
33 Every earthen vessel into which any of them falls and all that is in it shall be unclean. You shall break it.And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean, and it ye shall break.그것들 가운데 하나가 어떤 질그릇 안에 떨어지면 그 안에 든 것이 모두 부정해지니 그 그릇을 깨뜨려야 한다.
34 All food which may be eaten which is soaked in water shall be unclean. All drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.All food therein which may be eaten, that on which water cometh, shall be unclean; and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.먹을 수 있는 음식이라도 그런 그릇의 물이 닿으면 부정해지고, 그런 그릇에 든 마실 것도 모두 부정해진다.
35 Everything whereupon part of their carcass falls shall be unclean; whether oven, or range for pots, it shall be broken in pieces. They are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.And every thing whereupon any part of their carcass falleth shall be unclean; whether oven, or range for pots, it shall be broken in pieces: they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.그것들의 주검 일부가 떨어진 것은 무엇이든 부정해진다. 화덕이든 화로든 깨뜨려야 한다. 그것들은 부정하니 너희에게 부정한 것으로 여겨야 한다.
36 Nevertheless a spring or a cistern in which water is gathered shall be clean, but that which touches their carcass shall be unclean.Nevertheless a fountain or a pit wherein is a gathering of water shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcass shall be unclean.그러나 물이 고인 샘이나 저수 웅덩이는 정결하다. 다만 그 주검에 닿는 것은 부정해진다.
37 If part of their carcass falls on any sowing seed which is to be sown, it is clean.And if aught of their carcass fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it is clean.그것들의 주검 일부가 심을 씨앗 위에 떨어져도 그 씨앗은 정결하다.
38 But if water is put on the seed, and part of their carcass falls on it, it is unclean to you.But if water be put upon the seed, and aught of their carcass fall thereon, it is unclean unto you.그러나 씨앗에 물을 부은 뒤에 그 주검 일부가 떨어지면 그 씨앗은 너희에게 부정하다.
39 “‘ If any animal of which you may eat dies, he who touches its carcass shall be unclean until the evening.And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the even.너희가 먹을 수 있는 짐승이라도 죽으면, 그 주검을 만지는 사람은 저녁까지 부정하다.
40 He who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. He also who carries its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.And he that eateth of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.그 주검을 먹는 사람은 옷을 빨아야 하며 저녁까지 부정하다. 그 주검을 옮기는 사람도 옷을 빨아야 하며 저녁까지 부정하다.
41 “‘ Every creeping thing that creeps on the earth is an abomination. It shall not be eaten.And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth is an abomination; it shall not be eaten.땅에 기어 다니는 모든 기는 것은 혐오스러운 것이니 먹지 마라.
42 Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, even all creeping things that creep on the earth, them you shall not eat; for they are an abomination.Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all fours, or whatsoever hath many feet, even all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.배로 기어 다니는 것이든 네 발로 다니는 것이든 발이 많은 것이든, 땅에 기어 다니는 모든 기는 것은 먹지 마라. 그것들은 혐오스러운 것이다.
43 You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps. You shall not make yourselves unclean with them, that you should be defiled by them.Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.너희는 기어 다니는 어떤 기는 것으로도 너희 자신을 혐오스럽게 하지 말고, 그것들로 너희 자신을 부정하게 하여 더럽히지 마라.
44 For I am Yahweh your God. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any kind of creeping thing that moves on the earth.For I am Jehovah your God: sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that moveth upon the earth.나는 너희 하나님 여호와다. 그러므로 너희는 너희 자신을 거룩하게 하여 거룩하라. 나는 거룩하기 때문이다. 땅에 기어 다니는 어떤 기는 것으로도 너희 자신을 더럽히지 마라.
45 For I am Yahweh who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.For I am Jehovah that brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.나는 너희 하나님이 되려고 너희를 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 낸 여호와다. 그러므로 너희는 거룩하라. 나는 거룩하기 때문이다."
46 “‘ This is the law of the animal, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth,This is the law of the beast, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth;이것은 짐승과 새와 물속에서 움직이는 모든 생물과 땅에 기어 다니는 모든 생물에 관한 법이다.
47 to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.’”to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.곧 부정한 것과 정결한 것, 먹을 수 있는 생물과 먹지 못할 생물을 구별하기 위한 것이다.'"
