1 Yahweh said to Moses,And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
2 “ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘ I am Yahweh your God.Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am Jehovah your God."이스라엘 자손에게 말하여 그들에게 전하여라. '나는 너희 하나님 여호와다.
3 You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you lived. You shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. You shall not follow their statutes.After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their statutes.너희가 살던 이집트 땅에서 사람들이 하던 대로 따라 하지 말고, 내가 너희를 데리고 들어가는 가나안 땅에서 사람들이 하는 대로도 따라 하지 마라. 그들의 규례를 좇아 살지 마라.
4 You shall do my ordinances. You shall keep my statutes and walk in them. I am Yahweh your God.Mine ordinances shall ye do, and my statutes shall ye keep, to walk therein: I am Jehovah your God.너희는 내 법도를 행하고 내 규례를 지켜 그대로 살아라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와다.
5 You shall therefore keep my statutes and my ordinances, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am Yahweh.Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and mine ordinances; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am Jehovah.그러므로 너희는 내 규례와 내 법도를 지켜라. 사람이 이것을 행하면 그것으로 인하여 살 것이다. 나는 여호와다.
6 “‘ None of you shall approach any close relatives, to uncover their nakedness: I am Yahweh.None of you shall approach to any that are near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am Jehovah.너희 중 누구든지 자기 가까운 친족에게 가까이 하여 그 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 나는 여호와다.
7 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, nor the nakedness of your mother: she is your mother. You shall not uncover her nakedness.The nakedness of thy father, even the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.네 아버지의 부끄러운 곳, 곧 네 어머니의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 그는 네 어머니이니 그 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라.
8 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife. It is your father’s nakedness.The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover; it is thy father’s nakedness.네 아버지의 아내의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 그것은 네 아버지의 부끄러운 곳이다.
9 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or born abroad.The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.네 자매, 곧 네 아버지의 딸이든 네 어머니의 딸이든, 집에서 태어났든 다른 곳에서 태어났든, 그의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라.
10 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter, or of your daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness; for theirs is your own nakedness.The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.네 아들의 딸이나 네 딸의 딸의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 그들의 부끄러운 곳은 곧 네 자신의 부끄러운 곳이기 때문이다.
11 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, conceived by your father, since she is your sister.The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.네 아버지의 아내가 네 아버지에게서 낳은 딸의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 그는 네 자매이기 때문이다.
12 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister. She is your father’s near kinswoman.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: she is thy father’s near kinswoman.네 아버지의 자매의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 그는 네 아버지의 가까운 혈육이다.
13 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s near kinswoman.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister: for she is thy mother’s near kinswoman.네 어머니의 자매의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 그는 네 어머니의 가까운 혈육이다.
14 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother. You shall not approach his wife. She is your aunt.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.네 아버지의 형제의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 말고, 그의 아내에게 가까이 하지 마라. 그는 네 숙모다.
15 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife. You shall not uncover her nakedness.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law: she is thy son’s wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.네 며느리의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 그는 네 아들의 아내이니 그 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라.
16 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife. It is your brother’s nakedness.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: it is thy brother’s nakedness.네 형제의 아내의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 그것은 네 형제의 부끄러운 곳이다.
17 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter. You shall not take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near kinswomen. It is wickedness.Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter; thou shalt not take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; they are near kinswomen: it is wickedness.한 여인과 그의 딸의 부끄러운 곳을 함께 드러내지 마라. 그 여인의 아들의 딸이나 딸의 딸을 데려다가 그 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 그들은 가까운 혈육이니 이는 악한 일이다.
18 “‘ You shall not take a wife in addition to her sister, to be a rival, to uncover her nakedness, while her sister is still alive.And thou shalt not take a wife to her sister, to be a rival to her, to uncover her nakedness, besides the other in her life-time.네 아내가 살아 있는 동안 그의 자매를 또 아내로 데려와 경쟁하게 하여 그 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라.
19 “‘ You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.And thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.여인이 월경으로 부정한 동안에는 그에게 가까이 하여 그 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라.
20 “‘ You shall not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, and defile yourself with her.And thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor’s wife, to defile thyself with her.네 이웃의 아내와 음행하여 그로 인하여 너 자신을 더럽히지 마라.
21 “‘ You shall not give any of your children as a sacrifice to Molech. You shall not profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.And thou shalt not give any of thy seed to make them pass through the fire to Molech; neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.네 자녀 중 누구도 몰렉에게 제물로 바치지 마라. 네 하나님의 이름을 더럽히지 마라. 나는 여호와다.
22 “‘ You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. That is detestable.Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.여자와 동침하듯 남자와 동침하지 마라. 그것은 가증한 일이다.
23 “‘ You shall not lie with any animal to defile yourself with it. No woman may give herself to an animal, to lie down with it: it is a perversion.And thou shalt not lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; neither shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down thereto: it is confusion.어떤 짐승과도 동침하여 너 자신을 더럽히지 마라. 여자도 짐승 앞에 나아가 그와 교접하지 마라. 그것은 문란하고 어긋난 일이다.
24 “‘Don’t defile yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations which I am casting out before you were defiled.Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you;너희는 이 모든 일로 너희 자신을 더럽히지 마라. 내가 너희 앞에서 쫓아내는 민족들이 이 모든 일로 더럽혀졌기 때문이다.
25 The land was defiled. Therefore I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out her inhabitants.and the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomiteth out her inhabitants.그 땅이 더럽혀졌으므로 내가 그 죄악을 벌하였고, 그 땅이 그 주민들을 토해 냈다.
26 You therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the native-born, nor the stranger who lives as a foreigner among youYe therefore shall keep my statutes and mine ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the home-born, nor the stranger that sojourneth among you그러므로 너희는, 본토 사람이든 너희 가운데 나그네로 사는 이방 사람이든, 내 규례와 내 법도를 지켜 이 모든 가증한 일을 하나도 행하지 마라.
27 ( for the men of the land that were before you had done all these abominations, and the land became defiled ),( for all these abominations have the men of the land done, that were before you, and the land is defiled );너희보다 먼저 그 땅에 살던 사람들이 이 모든 가증한 일을 행하여 그 땅이 더럽혀졌다.
28 that the land not vomit you out also, when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.that the land vomit not you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.너희가 그 땅을 더럽히면, 너희보다 먼저 있던 민족을 토해 냈듯이 그 땅이 너희도 토해 낼 것이다.
29 “‘ For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.누구든지 이 모든 가증한 일 가운데 하나라도 행하는 사람은, 그 일을 행하는 그 영혼이 그 백성 가운데서 끊어질 것이다.
30 Therefore you shall keep my requirements, that you do not practice any of these abominable customs which were practiced before you, and that you do not defile yourselves with them. I am Yahweh your God.’”Therefore shall ye keep my charge, that ye practise not any of these abominable customs, which were practised before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Jehovah your God.그러므로 너희는 내 명령을 지켜, 너희보다 먼저 행해지던 이 가증한 풍습 가운데 어느 것도 행하지 말고, 그것들로 너희 자신을 더럽히지 마라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와다.'"
