1 “‘ You shall make for yourselves no idols, and you shall not raise up a carved image or a pillar, and you shall not place any figured stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am Yahweh your God.Ye shall make you no idols, neither shall ye rear you up a graven image, or a pillar, neither shall ye place any figured stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am Jehovah your God.너희는 너희를 위하여 우상을 만들지 말고, 새긴 형상이나 기둥을 세우지 말며, 너희 땅에 조각한 돌을 두고 그 앞에 절하지 말라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와이기 때문이다.
2 “‘ You shall keep my Sabbaths, and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am Yahweh.Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am Jehovah.너희는 내 안식일을 지키고, 내 성소를 경외하라. 나는 여호와이다.
3 “‘If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, and do them,If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;너희가 만일 내 규례대로 행하고, 내 계명을 지켜 그것을 실천하면,
4 then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.then I will give your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.내가 너희에게 철 따라 비를 내려 주리니, 땅은 그 소출을 내고 들의 나무는 그 열매를 맺을 것이다.
5 Your threshing shall continue until the vintage, and the vintage shall continue until the sowing time. You shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time; and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.너희의 타작은 포도 수확 때까지 이어지고, 포도 수확은 씨 뿌리는 때까지 이어질 것이며, 너희가 배불리 먹고 너희 땅에서 안전하게 살게 되리라.
6 “‘ I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one will make you afraid. I will remove evil animals out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.내가 그 땅에 평화를 주리니, 너희가 누워 자도 두렵게 할 자가 없을 것이며, 내가 사나운 짐승을 그 땅에서 없애고, 칼이 너희 땅을 지나가지 못하게 하리라.
7 You shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.너희가 너희 원수들을 쫓으리니, 그들이 너희 앞에서 칼에 쓰러질 것이다.
8 Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.너희 다섯 사람이 백 명을 쫓고, 너희 백 사람이 만 명을 쫓으리니, 너희 원수들이 너희 앞에서 칼에 쓰러지리라.
9 “‘ I will have respect for you, make you fruitful, multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.And I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.내가 너희를 돌아보아 너희를 번성하게 하고 너희를 많아지게 하며, 너희와 맺은 내 언약을 굳게 세우리라.
10 You shall eat old supplies long kept, and you shall move out the old because of the new.And ye shall eat old store long kept, and ye shall bring forth the old because of the new.너희가 오래 묵혀 둔 묵은 곡식을 먹다가, 새것이 들어오므로 묵은 것을 치워 내게 되리라.
11 I will set my tent among you, and my soul won’t abhor you.And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.내가 내 장막을 너희 가운데 세우리니, 내 마음이 너희를 싫어하지 아니하리라.
12 I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you will be my people.And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.내가 너희 가운데 거닐며 너희 하나님이 되고, 너희는 내 백성이 되리라.
13 I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves. I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you walk upright.I am Jehovah your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you go upright.나는 너희 하나님 여호와이니, 너희가 이집트 사람들의 종이 되지 않게 하려고 너희를 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 낸 자이다. 내가 너희 멍에의 빗장을 꺾고 너희를 똑바로 서서 걷게 하였노라.
14 “‘ But if you will not listen to me, and will not do all these commandments,But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;그러나 너희가 만일 내 말을 듣지 아니하고, 이 모든 계명을 실천하지 아니하며,
15 and if you shall reject my statutes, and if your soul abhors my ordinances, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant,and if ye shall reject my statutes, and if your soul abhor mine ordinances, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant;내 규례를 거절하고, 너희 마음이 내 법도를 싫어하여 내 모든 계명을 행하지 아니함으로 내 언약을 깨뜨리면,
16 I also will do this to you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall consume the eyes, and make the soul to pine away. You will sow your seed in vain, for your enemies will eat it.I also will do this unto you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall consume the eyes, and make the soul to pine away; and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.나도 너희에게 이같이 행하리니, 곧 내가 너희에게 두려움과 폐병과 열병을 보내어 눈을 멀게 하고 마음을 쇠약하게 하리라. 너희가 너희 씨를 헛되이 뿌릴 것이니, 너희 원수들이 그것을 먹어 버리리라.
17 I will set my face against you, and you will be struck before your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you; and you will flee when no one pursues you.And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be smitten before your enemies: they that hate you shall rule over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.내가 너희를 대적하리니, 너희가 너희 원수들 앞에서 패할 것이며, 너희를 미워하는 자들이 너희를 다스리고, 쫓는 자가 없어도 너희가 도망하리라.
18 “‘If you in spite of these things will not listen to me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.And if ye will not yet for these things hearken unto me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.너희가 이런 일을 당하고도 여전히 내 말을 듣지 아니하면, 내가 너희 죄로 인하여 너희를 일곱 배나 더 징계하리라.
19 I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your sky like iron, and your soil like bronze.And I will break the pride of your power: and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass;내가 너희 힘의 교만을 꺾고, 너희 하늘을 쇠 같게 하며 너희 땅을 놋 같게 하리니,
20 Your strength will be spent in vain; for your land won’t yield its increase, neither will the trees of the land yield their fruit.and your strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruit.너희의 힘이 헛되이 소모되리라. 너희 땅이 그 소출을 내지 아니하고, 그 땅의 나무가 그 열매를 맺지 아니하리라.
21 “‘If you walk contrary to me, and won’t listen to me, then I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins.And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.너희가 여전히 나를 거역하여 행하고 내 말을 듣지 아니하면, 내가 너희 죄에 따라 너희에게 일곱 배나 더 재앙을 내리리라.
22 I will send the wild animals among you, which will rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and make you few in number. Your roads will become desolate.And I will send the beast of the field among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your ways shall become desolate.내가 너희 가운데 들짐승을 보내리니, 그것들이 너희 자식들을 빼앗고 너희 가축을 멸하며 너희 수를 적게 하여, 너희 길이 황폐하게 되리라.
23 “‘If by these things you won’t be turned back to me, but will walk contrary to me,And if by these things ye will not be reformed unto me, but will walk contrary unto me;너희가 이런 일들로도 내게 돌이켜 바로잡지 아니하고 도리어 나를 거역하여 행하면,
24 then I will also walk contrary to you; and I will strike you, even I, seven times for your sins.then will I also walk contrary unto you; and I will smite you, even I, seven times for your sins.나도 너희를 거역하여 행하리니, 내가 너희 죄로 인하여 친히 너희를 일곱 배나 치리라.
25 I will bring a sword upon you that will execute the vengeance of the covenant. You will be gathered together within your cities, and I will send the pestilence among you. You will be delivered into the hand of the enemy.And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant; and ye shall be gathered together within your cities: and I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.내가 너희에게 칼을 가져와 언약을 어긴 죄를 갚으리라. 너희가 너희 성읍들 안으로 모여들면, 내가 너희 가운데 전염병을 보내리니, 너희가 원수의 손에 넘겨지리라.

27 “‘If you in spite of this won’t listen to me, but walk contrary to me,And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;너희가 이렇게 하여도 내 말을 듣지 아니하고 도리어 나를 거역하여 행하면,
28 then I will walk contrary to you in wrath. I will also chastise you seven times for your sins.then I will walk contrary unto you in wrath; and I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.내가 진노하여 너희를 거역하여 행하리니, 나도 너희 죄로 인하여 너희를 일곱 배나 징계하리라.
29 You will eat the flesh of your sons, and you will eat the flesh of your daughters.And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.너희가 너희 아들들의 살을 먹고, 너희 딸들의 살을 먹으리라.
30 I will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul will abhor you.And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your sun-images, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul shall abhor you.내가 너희 산당들을 헐고 너희 분향단들을 찍어 넘기며, 너희 시체를 너희 우상들의 몸 위에 던지리니, 내 마음이 너희를 싫어하리라.
31 I will lay your cities waste, and will bring your sanctuaries to desolation. I will not take delight in the sweet fragrance of your offerings.And I will make your cities a waste, and will bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.내가 너희 성읍들을 황폐하게 하고 너희 성소들을 폐허로 만들며, 너희가 드리는 향기로운 제물의 향기를 기뻐하지 아니하리라.
32 I will bring the land into desolation, and your enemies who dwell in it will be astonished at it.And I will bring the land into desolation; and your enemies that dwell therein shall be astonished at it.내가 그 땅을 황폐하게 하리니, 그곳에 사는 너희 원수들이 그것을 보고 놀라리라.
33 I will scatter you among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you. Your land will be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.And you will I scatter among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you: and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.내가 너희를 뭇 나라 가운데 흩고, 너희를 따라 칼을 뽑으리니, 너희 땅은 황무지가 되고 너희 성읍들은 폐허가 되리라.
34 Then the land will enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you are in your enemies’ land. Even then the land will rest and enjoy its Sabbaths.Then shall the land enjoy its sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye are in your enemies’ land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy its sabbaths.그제야 그 땅이 황폐하여 너희가 너희 원수들의 땅에 있는 동안, 그 땅이 그 안식들을 누리리라. 그때에야 그 땅이 쉬며 그 안식들을 누리리라.
35 As long as it lies desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it didn’t have in your Sabbaths when you lived on it.As long as it lieth desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it had not in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.그 땅이 황폐한 동안에는 안식을 얻으리니, 너희가 그 위에 살 때에 너희 안식일들에 누리지 못하던 안식을 누리리라.
36 “‘ As for those of you who are left, I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. The sound of a driven leaf will put them to flight; and they shall flee, as one flees from the sword. They will fall when no one pursues.And as for them that are left of you, I will send a faintness into their heart in the lands of their enemies: and the sound of a driven leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as one fleeth from the sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.너희 가운데 남은 자들에게는, 내가 그들의 원수들의 땅에서 그들의 마음에 겁약함을 보내리니, 바람에 날리는 나뭇잎 소리에도 그들이 도망하며, 칼을 피해 도망하듯 달아나, 쫓는 자가 없어도 쓰러지리라.
37 They will stumble over one another, as it were before the sword, when no one pursues. You will have no power to stand before your enemies.And they shall stumble one upon another, as it were before the sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.그들이 쫓는 자가 없어도 칼 앞에서인 듯 서로 부딪쳐 넘어지리니, 너희가 너희 원수들 앞에 설 힘이 없으리라.
38 You will perish among the nations. The land of your enemies will eat you up.And ye shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.너희가 뭇 나라 가운데서 멸망하리니, 너희 원수들의 땅이 너희를 삼키리라.
39 Those of you who are left will pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers they shall pine away with them.And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.너희 가운데 남은 자들은 너희 원수들의 땅에서 자기 죄악으로 인하여 쇠잔하며, 또한 그 조상들의 죄악으로 인하여 그들과 함께 쇠잔하리라.
40 “‘If they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me; and also that because they walked contrary to me,And they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and also that, because they walked contrary unto me,그러나 그들이 자기 죄악과 그 조상들의 죄악, 곧 그들이 나를 거슬러 범한 허물과 또 그들이 나를 거역하여 행한 것을 자백하면,
41 I also walked contrary to them, and brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled, and they then accept the punishment of their iniquity,I also walked contrary unto them, and brought them into the land of their enemies: if then their uncircumcised heart be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity;나 또한 그들을 거역하여 행하여 그들을 그 원수들의 땅으로 이끌어 들였으나, 그때에 그들의 할례받지 못한 마음이 겸손하여지고 그들이 자기 죄악의 형벌을 받아들이면,
42 then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham; and I will remember the land.then will I remember my covenant with Jacob; and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.내가 야곱과 맺은 내 언약을 기억하고, 또 이삭과 맺은 내 언약과 아브라함과 맺은 내 언약을 기억하며, 그 땅을 기억하리라.
43 The land also will be left by them, and will enjoy its Sabbaths while it lies desolate without them; and they will accept the punishment of their iniquity because they rejected my ordinances, and their soul abhorred my statutes.The land also shall be left by them, and shall enjoy its sabbaths, while it lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity; because, even because they rejected mine ordinances, and their soul abhorred my statutes.그들이 그 땅을 떠나므로, 그 땅이 그들 없이 황폐한 동안 그 안식들을 누리리라. 그들은 자기 죄악의 형벌을 받아들이리니, 이는 그들이 내 법도를 거절하고 그 마음으로 내 규례를 싫어하였기 때문이다.
44 Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly and to break my covenant with them; for I am Yahweh their God.And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am Jehovah their God;그럴지라도 그들이 그 원수들의 땅에 있을 때에, 내가 그들을 버리지 아니하고 싫어하지도 아니하여 그들을 아주 멸하거나 그들과 맺은 내 언약을 깨뜨리지 아니하리니, 이는 내가 그들의 하나님 여호와이기 때문이다.
45 But I will for their sake remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. 46 These are the statutes, ordinances, and laws, which Yahweh made between him and the children of Israel in Mount Sinai by Moses.These are the statutes and ordinances and laws, which Jehovah made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by Moses.이것들은 여호와께서 시내 산에서 모세를 통하여 자기와 이스라엘 자손 사이에 세우신 규례와 법도와 율법이다.
