1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
2 “Moreover, you shall tell the children of Israel, ‘Anyone of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners in Israel, who gives any of his offspring to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone that person with stones.Moreover, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones."너는 이스라엘 자손에게 이렇게 일러라. 이스라엘 자손이든, 이스라엘에 나그네로 사는 외국 사람이든, 누구라도 자기 자식을 몰렉에게 바치는 자는 반드시 죽여야 한다. 그 땅 백성이 그를 돌로 쳐 죽여라.
3 I also will set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given of his offspring to Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.I also will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.나도 그 사람을 향하여 내 얼굴을 들어 대적하고, 그를 그의 백성 가운데서 끊어 버리겠다. 그가 자기 자식을 몰렉에게 바쳐서 내 성소를 더럽히고 내 거룩한 이름을 욕되게 하였기 때문이다.
4 If the people of the land all hide their eyes from that person when he gives of his offspring to Molech, and don’t put him to death,And if the people of the land do at all hide their eyes from that man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and put him not to death;만일 그 땅 백성이 그 사람이 자기 자식을 몰렉에게 바칠 때에 못 본 척 눈을 감아 주고 그를 죽이지 않으면,
5 then I will set my face against that man and against his family, and will cut him off, and all who play the prostitute after him to play the prostitute with Molech, from among their people.then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that play the harlot after him, to play the harlot with Molech, from among their people.내가 친히 그 사람과 그의 가족을 향하여 얼굴을 들어 대적하고, 그와 또 그를 따라 몰렉을 좇아 음행하는 모든 자를 그들의 백성 가운데서 끊어 버리겠다.
6 “‘ The person that turns to those who are mediums and wizards, to play the prostitute after them, I will even set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people.And the soul that turneth unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto the wizards, to play the harlot after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.또 신접한 자나 점쟁이를 찾아가서 그들을 좇아 음행하는 사람에게는, 내가 친히 그 사람을 향하여 얼굴을 들어 대적하고, 그를 그의 백성 가운데서 끊어 버리겠다.
7 “‘ Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am Yahweh your God.Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I am Jehovah your God.그러므로 너희는 스스로 거룩하게 하고 거룩하여라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와다.
8 You shall keep my statutes, and do them. I am Yahweh who sanctifies you.And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am Jehovah who sanctifieth you.너희는 내 규례를 지켜 행하여라. 나는 너희를 거룩하게 하는 여호와다.
9 “‘ For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood shall be upon himself.For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall surely be put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.누구든지 자기 아버지나 어머니를 저주하는 자는 반드시 죽여야 한다. 그가 자기 아버지나 어머니를 저주하였으니, 그 피가 자기에게로 돌아갈 것이다.
10 “‘ The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.남의 아내와 간음하는 사람, 곧 이웃의 아내와 간음하는 사람은, 그 간음한 남자와 여자를 반드시 함께 죽여야 한다.
11 “‘ The man who lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness. Both of them shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon themselves.And the man that lieth with his father’s wife hath uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.자기 아버지의 아내와 동침하는 사람은 자기 아버지의 부끄러운 곳을 드러낸 것이니, 둘 다 반드시 죽여야 한다. 그들의 피가 그들에게로 돌아갈 것이다.
12 “‘If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death. They have committed a perversion. Their blood shall be upon themselves.And if a man lie with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.자기 며느리와 동침하는 사람은 둘 다 반드시 죽여야 한다. 그들이 망측한 짓을 행하였으니, 그들의 피가 그들에게로 돌아갈 것이다.
13 “‘If a man lies with a male, as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon themselves.And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.남자가 여자와 하듯 남자와 동침하면, 둘 다 가증한 일을 행한 것이니 반드시 죽여야 한다. 그들의 피가 그들에게로 돌아갈 것이다.
14 “‘ If a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness. They shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you.And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.어떤 남자가 한 여자와 그 여자의 어머니를 함께 아내로 취하면, 그것은 악한 일이다. 너희 가운데 그런 악이 없도록, 그 남자와 두 여자를 함께 불에 태워라.
15 “‘If a man lies with an animal, he shall surely be put to death; and you shall kill the animal.And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.남자가 짐승과 교합하면 반드시 죽여야 하고, 그 짐승도 죽여라.
16 “‘If a woman approaches any animal and lies with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.여자가 짐승에게 가까이 가서 교합하면, 그 여자와 짐승을 죽여라. 둘 다 반드시 죽여야 하니, 그들의 피가 그들에게로 돌아갈 것이다.
17 “‘ If a man takes his sister— his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter — and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness, it is a shameful thing. They shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people. He has uncovered his sister’s nakedness. He shall bear his iniquity.And if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a shameful thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.어떤 남자가 자기 누이, 곧 자기 아버지의 딸이나 어머니의 딸을 취하여 서로 부끄러운 곳을 보면, 그것은 수치스러운 일이다. 그들은 그 백성의 자손이 보는 앞에서 끊어질 것이다. 그가 자기 누이의 부끄러운 곳을 드러냈으니, 자기 죄를 담당할 것이다.
18 “‘ If a man lies with a woman having her monthly period, and uncovers her nakedness, he has made her fountain naked, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from among their people.And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath made naked her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.어떤 남자가 월경 중인 여자와 동침하여 그 부끄러운 곳을 드러내면, 그는 그 여자의 근원을 드러낸 것이요 그 여자도 자기 피의 근원을 드러낸 것이니, 둘 다 그들의 백성 가운데서 끊어질 것이다.
19 “‘ You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, nor of your father’s sister, for he has made his close relative naked. They shall bear their iniquity.And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister, nor of thy father’s sister; for he hath made naked his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.너는 네 어머니의 자매나 아버지의 자매의 부끄러운 곳을 드러내지 마라. 그렇게 하는 자는 자기의 가까운 친족을 욕되게 한 것이니, 그들이 자기 죄를 담당할 것이다.
20 If a man lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness. They shall bear their sin. They shall die childless.And if a man shall lie with his uncle’s wife, he hath uncovered his uncle’s nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.어떤 남자가 자기 숙모와 동침하면 자기 삼촌의 부끄러운 곳을 드러낸 것이니, 그들이 자기 죄를 담당할 것이요 자식 없이 죽을 것이다.
21 “‘ If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is an impurity. He has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They shall be childless.And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is impurity: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.어떤 남자가 자기 형제의 아내를 취하면 그것은 더러운 일이다. 그가 자기 형제의 부끄러운 곳을 드러냈으니, 그들이 자식 없이 살 것이다.
22 “‘ You shall therefore keep all my statutes and all my ordinances, and do them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out.Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all mine ordinances, and do them; that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, vomit you not out.그러므로 너희는 내 모든 규례와 모든 법도를 지켜 행하여라. 그래야 내가 너희를 데려가 살게 할 그 땅이 너희를 토해 내지 않을 것이다.
23 You shall not walk in the customs of the nation which I am casting out before you; for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.And ye shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.너희는 내가 너희 앞에서 쫓아내는 그 민족의 풍습을 따르지 마라. 그들이 이 모든 일을 행하였으므로 내가 그들을 미워하였다.
24 But I have said to you, “ You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am Yahweh your God, who has separated you from the peoples.But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey: I am Jehovah your God, who hath separated you from the peoples.그러나 내가 너희에게 말하였다. '너희가 그들의 땅을 차지할 것이니, 내가 그 땅을 너희에게 주어 소유로 삼게 하겠다. 그곳은 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅이다.' 나는 너희를 만민 가운데서 구별해 낸 너희 하나님 여호와다.
25 “‘ You shall therefore make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean. You shall not make yourselves abominable by animal, or by bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have separated from you as unclean for you.Ye shall therefore make a distinction between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by bird, or by anything wherewith the ground teemeth, which I have separated from you as unclean.그러므로 너희는 정한 짐승과 부정한 짐승, 부정한 새와 정한 새를 구별하여라. 너희는 짐승이나 새나 땅에 기는 그 어떤 것으로도 너희 자신을 가증하게 하지 마라. 그것들은 내가 너희에게 부정한 것으로 구별해 둔 것이다.
26 You shall be holy to me, for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.And ye shall be holy unto me: for I, Jehovah, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that ye should be mine.너희는 나에게 거룩하여라. 나 여호와가 거룩하고, 너희를 만민 가운데서 구별하여 내 것이 되게 하였다.
27 “‘ A man or a woman that is a medium or is a wizard shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones. Their blood shall be upon themselves.’”A man also or a woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be upon them.남자든 여자든 신접한 자나 점쟁이는 반드시 죽여야 한다. 사람들이 그들을 돌로 쳐 죽일 것이니, 그들의 피가 그들에게로 돌아갈 것이다."
