1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
2 “ Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘ You shall be holy; for I, Yahweh your God, am holy.Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy; for I Jehovah your God am holy."이스라엘 자손 온 회중에게 말하여 이렇게 일러라. '너희는 거룩하여라. 너희 하나님 나 여호와가 거룩하기 때문이다.
3 “‘Each one of you shall respect his mother and his father. You shall keep my Sabbaths. I am Yahweh your God.Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father; and ye shall keep my sabbaths: I am Jehovah your God.너희는 저마다 자기 어머니와 아버지를 공경하여라. 또 나의 안식일들을 지켜라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와다.
4 “‘Don’t turn to idols, nor make molten gods for yourselves. I am Yahweh your God.Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am Jehovah your God.우상에게로 돌아서지 말고, 너희를 위하여 신상을 부어 만들지도 마라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와다.
5 “‘ When you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, you shall offer it so that you may be accepted.And when ye offer a sacrifice of peace-offerings unto Jehovah, ye shall offer it that ye may be accepted.너희가 여호와께 화목제물을 드릴 때에는, 너희가 받아들여지도록 그것을 드려라.
6 It shall be eaten the same day you offer it, and on the next day. If anything remains until the third day, it shall be burned with fire.It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if aught remain until the third day, it shall be burnt with fire.그것은 드린 날과 그 이튿날에 먹어야 하며, 사흘째까지 남은 것은 무엇이든 불에 태워야 한다.
7 If it is eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination. It will not be accepted;And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination; it shall not be accepted:만일 그것을 사흘째에 조금이라도 먹으면, 그것은 가증한 것이라 받아들여지지 않을 것이다.
8 but everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy thing of Yahweh, and that soul shall be cut off from his people.but every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the holy thing of Jehovah: and that soul shall be cut off from his people.그것을 먹는 사람은 누구나 자기 죄를 짊어질 것이니, 이는 그가 여호와의 거룩한 것을 더럽혔기 때문이다. 그런 사람은 자기 백성에게서 끊어질 것이다.
9 “‘ When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleaning of thy harvest.너희가 너희 땅의 곡식을 거둘 때에는, 밭 모퉁이까지 다 거두지 말고, 거둔 뒤에 떨어진 이삭도 줍지 마라.
10 You shall not glean your vineyard, neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the foreigner. I am Yahweh your God.And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather the fallen fruit of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am Jehovah your God.너희 포도원을 남김없이 따지 말고, 포도원에 떨어진 포도도 줍지 마라. 그것들은 가난한 사람과 나그네를 위하여 남겨 두어라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와다.
11 “‘ You shall not steal. “‘ You shall not lie. “‘ You shall not deceive one another.Ye shall not steal; neither shall ye deal falsely, nor lie one to another.너희는 도둑질하지 마라. 거짓말하지 마라. 서로 속이지 마라.
12 “‘ You shall not swear by my name falsely, and profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, and profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.너희는 내 이름으로 거짓 맹세하여 너희 하나님의 이름을 더럽히지 마라. 나는 여호와다.
13 “‘ You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. “‘ The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning.Thou shalt not oppress thy neighbor, nor rob him: the wages of a hired servant shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.너희는 이웃을 억압하지 말고 빼앗지도 마라. 품꾼의 삯을 다음 날 아침까지 밤새도록 네게 두지 마라.
14 “‘ You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind; but you shall fear your God. I am Yahweh.Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind; but thou shalt fear thy God: I am Jehovah.너희는 귀먹은 사람을 저주하지 말고, 눈먼 사람 앞에 걸림돌을 놓지 마라. 다만 너희 하나님을 두려워하여라. 나는 여호와다.
15 “‘ You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor show favoritism to the great; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness.Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty; but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.너희는 재판할 때 불의를 행하지 마라. 가난한 사람이라고 편들지 말고, 세력 있는 사람이라고 봐주지도 마라. 다만 의롭게 네 이웃을 재판하여라.
16 “‘ You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people. “‘ You shall not endanger the life of your neighbor. I am Yahweh.Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor: I am Jehovah.너희는 백성 가운데로 다니며 남을 헐뜯지 마라. 너희 이웃의 생명을 위태롭게 하지 마라. 나는 여호와다.
17 “‘ You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thy heart: thou shalt surely rebuke thy neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.너희는 마음으로 네 형제를 미워하지 마라. 너는 반드시 네 이웃을 타일러야 하며, 그로 인해 죄를 짊어지지 않도록 하여라.
18 “‘ You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.Thou shalt not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people; but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am Jehovah.너희는 네 백성의 자손에게 원수를 갚지 말고 원한을 품지도 마라. 다만 네 이웃을 네 몸처럼 사랑하여라. 나는 여호와다.
19 “‘ You shall keep my statutes. “‘ You shall not cross-breed different kinds of animals. “‘ You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed; “‘Don’t wear a garment made of two kinds of material.Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with two kinds of seed: neither shall there come upon thee a garment of two kinds of stuff mingled together.너희는 나의 규례를 지켜라. 서로 다른 종류의 가축을 교배시키지 마라. 네 밭에 두 종류의 씨를 뿌리지 마라. 두 종류의 재료로 만든 옷도 네 몸에 걸치지 마라.
20 “‘ If a man lies carnally with a woman who is a slave girl, pledged to be married to another man, and not ransomed or given her freedom; they shall be punished. They shall not be put to death, because she was not free.And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to a husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; they shall be punished; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.어떤 남자가 다른 남자와 약혼했으나 아직 속량되거나 자유를 얻지 못한 여종과 동침하면, 그들은 벌을 받을 것이다. 그러나 그 여자가 자유로운 몸이 아니었으므로 그들을 죽이지는 못한다.
21 He shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, even a ram for a trespass offering.And he shall bring his trespass-offering unto Jehovah, unto the door of the tent of meeting, even a ram for a trespass-offering.그 남자는 속건제물을 여호와께, 곧 회막 문으로 가져와야 하니, 속건제물로 숫양 한 마리를 가져와야 한다.
22 The priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before Yahweh for his sin which he has committed; and the sin which he has committed shall be forgiven him.And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering before Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned: and the sin which he hath sinned shall be forgiven him.제사장은 그가 지은 죄를 위하여 속건제의 숫양으로 여호와 앞에서 그를 위해 속죄해야 한다. 그러면 그가 지은 죄가 그에게 용서될 것이다.
23 “‘ When you come into the land, and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as forbidden. For three years it shall be forbidden to you. It shall not be eaten.And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as their uncircumcision: three years shall they be as uncircumcised unto you; it shall not be eaten.너희가 그 땅에 들어가 온갖 과일나무를 심거든, 그 열매를 먹지 못할 것으로 여겨라. 삼 년 동안 너희에게 금지되어, 먹지 못한다.
24 But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, for giving praise to Yahweh.But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy, for giving praise unto Jehovah.그러나 사 년째에는 그 모든 열매가 거룩하여, 여호와께 찬송을 드리는 것이 된다.
25 In the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, that it may yield its increase to you. I am Yahweh your God.And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am Jehovah your God.오 년째에는 너희가 그 열매를 먹을 수 있으니, 그것이 너희에게 소출을 더하게 할 것이다. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와다.
26 “‘ You shall not eat any meat with the blood still in it. You shall not use enchantments, nor practice sorcery.Ye shall not eat anything with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantments, nor practise augury.너희는 피가 그대로 있는 고기를 먹지 마라. 또 점을 치거나 술법을 행하지 마라.
27 “‘ You shall not cut the hair on the sides of your head or clip off the edge of your beard.Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.너희는 머리 양쪽 가의 머리털을 깎지 말고, 수염 끝을 자르지도 마라.
28 “‘ You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you. I am Yahweh.Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am Jehovah.너희는 죽은 사람을 위하여 몸에 상처를 내지 말고, 몸에 어떤 무늬도 새기지 마라. 나는 여호와다.
29 “‘Don’t profane your daughter, to make her a prostitute; lest the land fall to prostitution, and the land become full of wickedness.Profane not thy daughter, to make her a harlot; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.너희는 네 딸을 욕되게 하여 창녀로 만들지 마라. 그리하면 그 땅이 음행에 빠지고, 그 땅이 사악함으로 가득 차게 될 것이다.
30 “‘ You shall keep my Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary; I am Yahweh.Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am Jehovah.너희는 나의 안식일들을 지키고 나의 성소를 경외하여라. 나는 여호와다.
31 “‘Don’t turn to those who are mediums, nor to the wizards. Don’t seek them out, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God.Turn ye not unto them that have familiar spirits, nor unto the wizards; seek them not out, to be defiled by them: I am Jehovah your God.너희는 신접한 자에게로 돌아서지 말고, 점쟁이를 찾지도 마라. 그들에게 더럽혀지도록 그들을 찾지 마라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와다.
32 “‘ You shall rise up before the gray head and honor the face of the elderly; and you shall fear your God. I am Yahweh.Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honor the face of the old man, and thou shalt fear thy God: I am Jehovah.너희는 백발 노인 앞에서 일어서고, 늙은이의 얼굴을 공경하며, 너희 하나님을 두려워하여라. 나는 여호와다.
33 “‘ If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong.And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not do him wrong.만일 나그네가 너희 땅에서 너와 함께 머물러 살거든, 너희는 그를 학대하지 마라.
34 The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.The stranger that sojourneth with you shall be unto you as the home-born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were sojourners in the land of Egypt: I am Jehovah your God.너희와 함께 머물러 사는 나그네를 너희 가운데 본토인처럼 여기고, 그를 네 몸처럼 사랑하여라. 너희도 이집트 땅에서 나그네였기 때문이다. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와다.
35 “‘ You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity.Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity.너희는 재판할 때나 길이나 무게나 분량을 잴 때 불의를 행하지 마라.
36 You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin. I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.너희는 공정한 저울과 공정한 추와 공정한 에바와 공정한 힌을 사용하여라. 나는 너희를 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 낸 너희 하나님 여호와다.
37 “‘ You shall observe all my statutes and all my ordinances, and do them. I am Yahweh.’”And ye shall observe all my statutes, and all mine ordinances, and do them: I am Jehovah.너희는 나의 모든 규례와 모든 법도를 지켜 행하여라. 나는 여호와다.'"
