1 Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wildernessAnd Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan, and was led in the Spirit in the wilderness성령이 충만한 예수께서 요단강에서 돌아오셨고, 성령에 이끌려 광야로 들어가셨다.
2 for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. Afterward, when they were completed, he was hungry.during forty days, being tempted of the devil. And he did eat nothing in those days: and when they were completed, he hungered.거기서 사십 일 동안 마귀에게 시험을 받으셨다. 그 기간에 아무것도 잡수시지 않으셨고, 그 날들이 다 지나자 시장하셨다.
3 The devil said to him, “ If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”And the devil said unto him, If thou art the Son of God, command this stone that it become bread.마귀가 그분께 말하였다. "당신이 하나님의 아들이거든, 이 돌에게 빵이 되라고 명령해 보시오."
4 Jesus answered him, saying, “ It is written, ‘ Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’”And Jesus answered unto him, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone.예수께서 그에게 대답하셨다. "기록되기를 '사람이 빵으로만 살 것이 아니라, 하나님의 모든 말씀으로 살 것이다' 하였다."
5 The devil, leading him up on a high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.And he led him up, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.마귀가 그분을 높은 산으로 데리고 올라가, 한순간에 세상의 모든 나라를 보여 주었다.
6 The devil said to him, “ I will give you all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I want.And the devil said unto him, To thee will I give all this authority, and the glory of them: for it hath been delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.그리고 마귀가 그분께 말하였다. "이 모든 권세와 그 영광을 당신에게 주겠소. 이것은 내게 넘겨진 것이어서, 내가 원하는 자에게 주는 것이오.
7 If you therefore will worship before me, it will all be yours.”If thou therefore wilt worship before me, it shall all be thine.그러니 당신이 내 앞에 엎드려 경배하면, 이 모든 것이 다 당신의 것이 될 것이오."
8 Jesus answered him, “ Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, ‘ You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’”And Jesus answered and said unto him, It is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.예수께서 그에게 대답하셨다. "사탄아, 물러가라! 기록되기를 '주 너의 하나님께 경배하고, 오직 그분만을 섬기라' 하였다."
9 He led him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, “ If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down from here,And he led him to Jerusalem, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou art the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:마귀가 그분을 예루살렘으로 데리고 가서 성전 꼭대기에 세우고 말하였다. "당신이 하나님의 아들이거든, 여기서 아래로 뛰어내려 보시오.
10 for it is written, ‘ He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you;’for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to guard thee:기록되기를 '그분이 너를 위하여 그분의 천사들에게 명하여 너를 지키게 하실 것이며,
11 and, ‘ On their hands they will bear you up, lest perhaps you dash your foot against a stone.’”and, On their hands they shall bear thee up, Lest haply thou dash thy foot against a stone.또 그들이 손으로 너를 떠받쳐, 네 발이 돌에 부딪히지 않게 하리라' 하였소."
12 Jesus answering, said to him, “ It has been said, ‘ You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not make trial of the Lord thy God.예수께서 그에게 대답하셨다. "'주 너의 하나님을 시험하지 말라' 하셨다."
13 When the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him until another time.And when the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him for a season.마귀가 모든 시험을 다 마치자, 다른 때까지 그분에게서 떠나갔다.
14 Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and news about him spread through all the surrounding area.And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and a fame went out concerning him through all the region round about.예수께서 성령의 능력으로 갈릴리로 돌아오셨고, 그분에 관한 소문이 그 주변 온 지방에 퍼져 나갔다.
15 He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.그분은 그들의 회당에서 가르치셨고, 모든 사람에게 영광을 받으셨다.
16 He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. 17 The book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written,And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And he opened the book, and found the place where it was written,선지자 이사야의 두루마리가 그분께 건네졌다. 그분이 두루마리를 펴서, 이렇게 기록된 곳을 찾으셨다.
18 “ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,"주의 영이 내게 임하셨으니, 이는 그분이 내게 기름을 부으셔서 가난한 사람에게 복음을 전하게 하셨기 때문이다. 그분이 나를 보내셔서, 마음이 상한 사람을 고치고, 포로된 자에게 풀려남을 선포하며, 눈먼 사람에게 다시 보게 함을 전하고, 짓눌린 사람을 자유롭게 하며,
19 and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.주께서 은혜를 베푸시는 해를 선포하게 하셨다."
20 He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. 21 He began to tell them, “ Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”And he began to say unto them, To-day hath this scripture been fulfilled in your ears.그분이 그들에게 말씀하기 시작하셨다. "오늘 이 성경 말씀이 너희가 듣는 가운데 이루어졌다."
22 All testified about him and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth; and they said, “Isn’ t this Joseph’s son?”And all bare him witness, and wondered at the words of grace which proceeded out of his mouth: and they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?모두가 그분에 대하여 증언하며, 그분의 입에서 나오는 은혜로운 말씀에 놀라며 말하였다. "이 사람은 요셉의 아들이 아닌가?"
23 He said to them, “Doubtless you will tell me this proverb, ‘ Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in your hometown.’”And he said unto them, Doubtless ye will say unto me this parable, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in thine own country.그분이 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 틀림없이 내게 이 속담을 말하겠지. '의사야, 너 자신이나 고쳐라! 우리가 가버나움에서 했다고 들은 일들을 여기 네 고향에서도 해 보아라.'"
24 He said, “Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is acceptable in his own country.또 말씀하셨다. "내가 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 어떤 선지자도 자기 고향에서는 환영받지 못한다.
25 But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land.But of a truth I say unto you, There were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when there came a great famine over all the land;그러나 내가 참으로 너희에게 말한다. 엘리야 때에 하늘이 삼 년 육 개월 동안 닫혀 온 땅에 큰 기근이 들었을 때, 이스라엘에 과부가 많았으나,
26 Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.and unto none of them was Elijah sent, but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.엘리야는 그들 가운데 누구에게도 보내심을 받지 않고, 다만 시돈 땅 사렙다의 한 과부에게만 보내심을 받았다.
27 There were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian.”And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.또 선지자 엘리사 때에 이스라엘에 나병환자가 많았으나, 그들 가운데 한 사람도 깨끗함을 받지 못하고, 다만 시리아 사람 나아만만 깨끗함을 받았다."
28 They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue as they heard these things.And they were all filled with wrath in the synagogue, as they heard these things;회당에 있던 모든 사람이 이 말을 듣고 분노로 가득 찼다.
29 They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff.and they rose up, and cast him forth out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might throw him down headlong.그들은 일어나 그분을 성 밖으로 내쫓고, 그 성이 세워진 산벼랑 끝까지 끌고 가서, 거기서 그분을 절벽 아래로 던지려 하였다.
30 But he, passing through the middle of them, went his way.But he passing through the midst of them went his way.그러나 그분은 그들 한가운데를 지나 자기 길을 가셨다.
31 He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. He was teaching them on the Sabbath day,And he came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the sabbath day:그분은 갈릴리의 한 성읍 가버나움으로 내려가셨다. 안식일에 그들을 가르치셨는데,
32 and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority.and they were astonished at his teaching; for his word was with authority.그들은 그분의 가르침에 놀랐으니, 그분의 말씀에 권위가 있었기 때문이다.
33 In the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice,And in the synagogue there was a man, that had a spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice,회당에 더러운 귀신 들린 사람이 있었는데, 그가 큰 소리로 외쳤다.
34 saying, “Ah! what have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God!”Ah! what have we to do with thee, Jesus thou Nazarene? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God."아! 나사렛 예수여, 우리가 당신과 무슨 상관이 있습니까? 우리를 멸하러 오셨습니까? 나는 당신이 누구인지 압니다. 하나님의 거룩하신 분입니다!"
35 Jesus rebuked him, saying, “ Be silent and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown him down in the middle of them, he came out of him, having done him no harm.And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst, he came out of him, having done him no hurt.예수께서 그를 꾸짖으셨다. "조용히 하고, 그에게서 나오라!" 귀신이 그를 사람들 한가운데 넘어뜨리고는, 그를 전혀 해치지 않고 나왔다.
36 Amazement came on all and they spoke together, one with another, saying, “ What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”And amazement came upon all, and they spake together, one with another, saying, What is this word? for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.모든 사람이 놀라 서로 말하였다. "이게 무슨 말인가? 권위와 능력으로 더러운 영들에게 명령하니, 그것들이 나오는구나!"
37 News about him went out into every place of the surrounding region.And there went forth a rumor concerning him into every place of the region round about.그분에 관한 소문이 그 주변 온 지방 곳곳으로 퍼져 나갔다.
38 He rose up from the synagogue and entered into Simon’s house. Simon’s mother-in-law was afflicted with a great fever, and they begged him to help her.And he rose up from the synagogue, and entered into the house of Simon. And Simon’s wife’s mother was holden with a great fever; and they besought him for her.그분은 회당에서 일어나 시몬의 집으로 들어가셨다. 시몬의 장모가 심한 열병에 시달리고 있어서, 사람들이 그분께 그녀를 위하여 간청하였다.
39 He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. Immediately she rose up and served them.And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she rose up and ministered unto them.그분이 그녀 위에 서서 열병을 꾸짖으시니, 열이 그녀에게서 떠났다. 그녀는 곧바로 일어나 그들을 섬겼다.
40 When the sun was setting, all those who had any sick with various diseases brought them to him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.And when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.해가 질 무렵, 온갖 병으로 앓는 사람들을 둔 이들이 모두 그들을 그분께 데려왔다. 그분은 그들 하나하나에게 손을 얹어 고쳐 주셨다.
41 Demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “ You are the Christ, the Son of God!” Rebuking them, he didn’ t allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.And demons also came out from many, crying out, and saying, Thou art the Son of God. And rebuking them, he suffered them not to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.귀신들도 많은 사람에게서 나오며 소리쳤다. "당신은 그리스도, 하나님의 아들이십니다!" 그분은 그들을 꾸짖어 말하지 못하게 하셨으니, 그들이 그분이 그리스도이심을 알았기 때문이다.
42 When it was day, he departed and went into an uninhabited place and the multitudes looked for him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he wouldn’ t go away from them.And when it was day, he came out and went into a desert place: and the multitudes sought after him, and came unto him, and would have stayed him, that he should not go from them.날이 밝자 그분은 떠나 한적한 곳으로 가셨다. 무리가 그분을 찾다가 그분께 이르러, 자기들을 떠나지 못하시게 붙들었다.
43 But he said to them, “ I must preach the good news of God’s Kingdom to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent.”But he said unto them, I must preach the good tidings of the kingdom of God to the other cities also: for therefore was I sent.그러나 그분이 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 다른 성읍들에도 하나님 나라의 복음을 전해야 한다. 이 일을 위하여 내가 보내심을 받았다."
44 He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.And he was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.그리고 그분은 갈릴리의 여러 회당에서 복음을 전하셨다.
