5 Becoming terrified, they bowed their faces down to the earth. The men said to them, “ Why do you seek the living among the dead?and as they were affrighted and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?그들이 두려워하여 얼굴을 땅에 대고 엎드리니, 그 두 사람이 그들에게 말하였다. "어찌하여 살아 계신 분을 죽은 자들 가운데서 찾느냐?
6 He isn’ t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee,He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,그분은 여기 계시지 않고, 살아나셨다. 아직 갈릴리에 계실 때에 그분이 너희에게 하신 말씀을 기억하여라.

12 But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. 17 He said to them, “ What are you talking about as you walk, and are sad?”And he said unto them, What communications are these that ye have one with another, as ye walk? And they stood still, looking sad.예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "너희가 걸어가면서 서로 무슨 이야기를 그렇게 나누느냐? 어찌 그리 슬퍼하느냐?"
18 One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “ Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem who doesn’ t know the things which have happened there in these days?”And one of them, named Cleopas, answering said unto him, Dost thou alone sojourn in Jerusalem and not know the things which are come to pass there in these days?글로바라는 사람이 대답하였다. "예루살렘에 머무는 사람으로서, 요즘 그곳에서 일어난 일을 모르는 사람은 당신뿐입니까?"
19 He said to them, “ What things?” They said to him, “ The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:예수께서 그들에게 "무슨 일이냐?" 하고 물으시니, 그들이 대답하였다. "나사렛 예수에 관한 일입니다. 그분은 하나님과 모든 백성 앞에서 행동과 말씀에 능력 있는 선지자셨습니다.

25 He said to them, “ Foolish people, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!And he said unto them, O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!그러자 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "어리석은 사람들이여, 선지자들이 말한 모든 것을 믿기에 더딘 마음을 가진 사람들이여!
26 Didn’ t the Christ have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?”Behooved it not the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?그리스도가 이런 고난을 받고 자기 영광에 들어가야 하지 않았느냐?"
27 Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.그리고 모세와 모든 선지자로부터 시작하여, 모든 성경에서 자기에 관한 것을 그들에게 설명해 주셨다.
28 They came near to the village where they were going, and he acted like he would go further.And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they were going: and he made as though he would go further.그들이 가려던 마을에 가까이 이르렀을 때, 예수께서는 더 멀리 가시려는 듯이 행동하셨다.
29 They urged him, saying, “ Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over.” He went in to stay with them.And they constrained him, saying, Abide with us; for it is toward evening, and the day is now far spent. And he went in to abide with them.그러자 그들이 그분을 붙들며 말하였다. "저녁때가 다 되고 날도 거의 저물었으니, 우리와 함께 머무십시오." 그래서 예수께서는 그들과 함께 머물려고 들어가셨다.
30 When he had sat down at the table with them, he took the bread and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave it to them.And it came to pass, when he had sat down with them to meat, he took the bread and blessed; and breaking it he gave to them.예수께서 그들과 함께 식탁에 앉으셨을 때, 빵을 들어 감사 기도를 드리시고, 떼어서 그들에게 나누어 주셨다.
31 Their eyes were opened and they recognized him; then he vanished out of their sight.And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.그러자 그들의 눈이 열려 그분을 알아보았는데, 그분은 그들의 눈앞에서 사라지셨다.
32 They said to one another, “Weren’ t our hearts burning within us while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?”And they said one to another, Was not our heart burning within us, while he spake to us in the way, while he opened to us the scriptures?그들은 서로 말하였다. "그분이 길에서 우리에게 말씀하시고 성경을 풀어 주실 때에, 우리 마음이 우리 속에서 뜨겁지 않았는가?"

35 They related the things that happened along the way, and how he was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread.And they rehearsed the things that happened in the way, and how he was known of them in the breaking of the bread.그리고 그 두 사람도 길에서 일어난 일과, 빵을 떼실 때에 어떻게 그분을 알아보게 되었는지를 이야기하였다.
36 As they said these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace be to you.”And as they spake these things, he himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.그들이 이 말을 하고 있을 때에, 예수께서 친히 그들 가운데 서서 말씀하셨다. "너희에게 평강이 있기를 바란다."
37 But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they beheld a spirit.그러나 그들은 두려워하고 무서움에 사로잡혀, 영을 보는 줄로 생각하였다.
38 He said to them, “ Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts?And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and wherefore do questionings arise in your heart?예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "어찌하여 두려워하느냐? 어찌하여 너희 마음에 의심이 일어나느냐?
39 See my hands and my feet, that it is truly me. Touch me and see, for a spirit doesn’ t have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.”See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye behold me having.내 손과 발을 보아라. 바로 나다. 나를 만져 보아라. 영은 너희가 보는 바와 같이 살과 뼈가 없지만, 나는 있지 않으냐."
40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.이 말씀을 하시고, 그들에게 손과 발을 보여 주셨다.
41 While they still didn’ t believe for joy, and wondered, he said to them, “ Do you have anything here to eat?”And while they still disbelieved for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here anything to eat?그들이 너무 기뻐서 여전히 믿지 못하고 놀라워하니, 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "여기에 먹을 것이 좀 있느냐?"
42 They gave him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish.그들이 구운 생선 한 토막과 약간의 벌집을 드렸다.
43 He took them, and ate in front of them.And he took it, and ate before them.예수께서 그것을 받아 그들 앞에서 잡수셨다.
44 He said to them, “ This is what I told you while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms concerning me must be fulfilled.”And he said unto them, These are my words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me.그리고 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "이것이 바로 내가 너희와 함께 있을 때에 너희에게 한 말이니, 곧 모세의 율법과 선지자들의 글과 시편에 나에 관하여 기록된 모든 것이 반드시 이루어져야 한다는 것이다."
45 Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.Then opened he their mind, that they might understand the scriptures;그때에 예수께서 그들의 마음을 열어 성경을 깨닫게 하셨다.
46 He said to them, “ Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,and he said unto them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day;그리고 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "이렇게 기록되어 있으니, 곧 그리스도가 고난을 받고 사흘째 되는 날에 죽은 자들 가운데서 살아나야 하며,
47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.또 그의 이름으로 회개와 죄 사함이 모든 민족에게 전파되되, 예루살렘에서부터 시작되어야 한다는 것이다.
48 You are witnesses of these things.Ye are witnesses of these things.너희는 이 일들의 증인이다.
49 Behold, I send out the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.”And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high.보라, 내가 내 아버지께서 약속하신 것을 너희에게 보낸다. 그러나 너희는 위로부터 오는 능력으로 입혀질 때까지 예루살렘 성에 머물러 있어라."
50 He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them.And he led them out until they were over against Bethany: and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.예수께서 그들을 베다니까지 데리고 나가셔서, 손을 들어 그들을 축복하셨다.
51 While he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven.And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he parted from them, and was carried up into heaven.그들을 축복하시는 동안에, 그들에게서 떠나 하늘로 올려지셨다.
