6 While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth.And it came to pass, while they were there, the days were fulfilled that she should be delivered.그들이 거기에 머무는 동안, 마리아가 해산할 날이 찼습니다.
7 She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.And she brought forth her firstborn son; and she wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.마리아는 첫아들을 낳아 강보로 싸서 구유에 뉘었습니다. 여관에 그들이 머물 방이 없었기 때문입니다.

12 This is the sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth, lying in a feeding trough.”And this is the sign unto you: Ye shall find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, and lying in a manger.너희에게 주는 표징은 이것이다. 너희가 강보에 싸여 구유에 누인 한 아기를 보게 될 것이다."

14 “ Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.”Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men in whom he is well pleased."가장 높은 곳에서는 하나님께 영광, 땅에서는 그분이 기뻐하시는 사람들에게 평화로다."
15 When the angels went away from them into the sky, the shepherds said to one another, “ Let’ s go to Bethlehem, now, and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”And it came to pass, when the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing that is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.천사들이 그들을 떠나 하늘로 올라가자, 목자들이 서로 말했습니다. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord’ s Christ.And it had been revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’ s Christ.그는 주의 그리스도를 보기 전에는 죽지 않으리라고 성령께 계시를 받은 사람이었습니다.
27 He came in the Spirit into the temple. 29 “ Now you are releasing your servant, Master, according to your word, in peace;Now lettest thou thy servant depart, Lord, According to thy word, in peace;"주재여, 이제 주님의 말씀대로 주님의 종을 평안히 놓아 보내십니다.
30 for my eyes have seen your salvation,For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,제 눈이 주님의 구원을 보았기 때문입니다.
31 which you have prepared before the face of all peoples;Which thou hast prepared before the face of all peoples;이는 주님께서 모든 백성 앞에 마련하신 것으로,
32 a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel.”A light for revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of thy people Israel.이방 사람들에게는 계시의 빛이요, 주님의 백성 이스라엘에게는 영광입니다."
33 Joseph and his mother were marveling at the things which were spoken concerning him.And his father and his mother were marvelling at the things which were spoken concerning him;아기의 아버지와 어머니는 그에 관하여 들려준 말에 놀라워했습니다.
34 Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary, his mother, “ Behold, this child is appointed for the falling and the rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which is spoken against.and Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the falling and the rising of many in Israel; and for a sign which is spoken against;시므온이 그들을 축복하고, 아기의 어머니 마리아에게 말했습니다. 37 and she had been a widow for about eighty-four years ), who didn’ t depart from the temple, worshiping with fastings and petitions night and day.and she had been a widow even unto fourscore and four years ), who departed not from the temple, worshipping with fastings and supplications night and day.그 뒤로 여든네 해를 과부로 지냈습니다. 그녀는 성전을 떠나지 않고 밤낮으로 금식하며 간구하면서 예배했습니다.
38 Coming up at that very hour, she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of him to all those who were looking for redemption in Jerusalem.And coming up at that very hour she gave thanks unto God, and spake of him to all them that were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.바로 그때에 그녀가 다가와 주께 감사를 드리고, 예루살렘의 구속을 기다리는 모든 사람에게 이 아기에 관하여 이야기했습니다.

48 When they saw him, they were astonished; and his mother said to him, “ Son, why have you treated us this way? 49 He said to them, “ Why were you looking for me? Didn’ t you know that I must be in my Father’s house?”And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? knew ye not that I must be in my Father’s house?예수가 그들에게 말했습니다. "어찌하여 저를 찾으셨습니까? 제가 제 아버지의 집에 있어야 할 줄을 알지 못하셨습니까?"
50 They didn’ t understand the saying which he spoke to them.And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.그러나 그들은 예수가 자기들에게 한 그 말을 깨닫지 못했습니다.
51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth. 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.And Jesus advanced in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.예수는 지혜와 키가 자라고, 하나님과 사람에게 더욱 사랑을 받았습니다.
