You shall observe to do all the commandments which I command you today, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers. All the commandment which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Jehovah sware unto your fathers.
You shall remember all the way which Yahweh your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.And thou shalt remember all the way which Jehovah thy God hath led thee these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble thee, to prove thee, to know what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or not.
He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by everything that proceedeth out of the mouth of Jehovah doth man live.
Your clothing didn’t grow old on you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years.Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.
You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you.And thou shalt consider in thy heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so Jehovah thy God chasteneth thee.
You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.And thou shalt keep the commandments of Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
For Yahweh your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground water flowing into valleys and hills; For Jehovah thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills;이는 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 좋은 땅으로 인도하시기 때문이다.
a land of wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive trees and honey;a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig-trees and pomegranates; a land of olive-trees and honey;밀과 보리와 포도나무와 무화과나무와 석류나무가 있는 땅이요, 올리브나무와 꿀이 있는 땅이다.
a land in which you shall eat bread without scarcity, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper.a land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig copper.
You shall eat and be full, and you shall bless Yahweh your God for the good land which he has given you.And thou shalt eat and be full, and thou shalt bless Jehovah thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.
Beware lest you forget Yahweh your God, in not keeping his commandments, his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command you today;Beware lest thou forget Jehovah thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:조심하여라.
lest, when you have eaten and are full, and have built fine houses and lived in them;lest, when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;행여 네가 먹어 배부르고 좋은 집을 지어 그 안에 살며,
and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied;and when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;네 소 떼와 양 떼가 번성하고 네 은과 금이 많아지며 네 모든 소유가 불어날 때,
then your heart might be lifted up, and you forget Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage;then thy heart be lifted up, and thou forget Jehovah thy God, who brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage;네 마음이 교만해져서 너를 이집트 땅, 곧 종살이하던 집에서 이끌어 내신 네 하나님 여호와를 잊어버릴까 두렵다.
who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with venomous snakes and scorpions, and thirsty ground where there was no water; who poured water for you out of the rock of flint;who led thee through the great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents and scorpions, and thirsty ground where was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;그분은 불뱀과 전갈이 있고 물이 없는 메마른 땅인, 그 크고 무서운 광야를 지나 너를 인도하셨고, 단단한 바위에서 너를 위해 물을 내셨다.
who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn’t know, that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end;who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not; that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end:그분은 네 조상도 알지 못하던 만나로 광야에서 너를 먹이셨으니, 이는 너를 낮추고 시험하셔서 마침내 너에게 복을 주려 하심이었다.
and lest you say in your heart, “ My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.”and lest thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand hath gotten me this wealth.
But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today. But thou shalt remember Jehovah thy God, for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as at this day.
It shall be, if you shall forget Yahweh your God, and walk after other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you shall surely perish. And it shall be, if thou shalt forget Jehovah thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
As the nations that Yahweh makes to perish before you, so you shall perish, because you wouldn’t listen to Yahweh your God’s voice. As the nations that Jehovah maketh to perish before you, so shall ye perish; because ye would not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah your God.
