1 It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, that Yahweh your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that Jehovah thy God will set thee on high above all the nations of the earth:만일 여러분이 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 음성을 부지런히 듣고, 내가 오늘 여러분에게 명령하는 그분의 모든 계명을 지켜 행하면, 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 여러분을 세상의 모든 민족 위에 높이 세우실 것입니다.
2 All these blessings will come upon you, and overtake you, if you listen to Yahweh your God’s voice.and all these blessings shall come upon thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God.여러분이 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 음성을 들으면, 이 모든 복이 여러분에게 임하고 여러분을 따라잡을 것입니다.
3 You shall be blessed in the city, and you shall be blessed in the field.Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.여러분은 성읍에서도 복을 받고, 들에서도 복을 받을 것입니다.
4 You shall be blessed in the fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the fruit of your animals, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock.Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy beasts, the increase of thy cattle, and the young of thy flock.여러분 몸의 소생과 여러분 땅의 소산과 여러분 가축의 새끼, 곧 여러분 소 떼의 번식과 양 떼의 새끼가 복을 받을 것입니다.
5 Your basket and your kneading trough shall be blessed.Blessed shall be thy basket and thy kneading-trough.여러분의 광주리와 반죽 그릇이 복을 받을 것입니다.
6 You shall be blessed when you come in, and you shall be blessed when you go out.Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.여러분은 들어올 때에도 복을 받고, 나갈 때에도 복을 받을 것입니다.
7 Yahweh will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck before you. They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways.Jehovah will cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thee: they shall come out against thee one way, and shall flee before thee seven ways.여호와께서 여러분을 치려고 일어나는 원수들을 여러분 앞에서 치게 하실 것입니다. 그들이 한 길로 여러분을 치러 나왔다가 여러분 앞에서 일곱 길로 도망할 것입니다.
8 Yahweh will command the blessing on you in your barns, and in all that you put your hand to. He will bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.Jehovah will command the blessing upon thee in thy barns, and in all that thou puttest thy hand unto; and he will bless thee in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.여호와께서 여러분의 곳간과 여러분이 손대는 모든 일에 복을 명령하실 것이며, 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 여러분에게 주시는 땅에서 여러분에게 복을 주실 것입니다.
9 Yahweh will establish you for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and walk in his ways.Jehovah will establish thee for a holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee; if thou shalt keep the commandments of Jehovah thy God, and walk in his ways.여호와께서 여러분에게 맹세하신 대로, 만일 여러분이 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 계명을 지키고 그분의 길로 행하면, 그분께서 여러분을 그분께 속한 거룩한 백성으로 세우실 것입니다.
10 All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they will be afraid of you.And all the peoples of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of Jehovah; and they shall be afraid of thee.그러면 세상의 모든 백성이 여러분이 여호와의 이름으로 불림을 보고 여러분을 두려워할 것입니다.
11 Yahweh will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you.And Jehovah will make thee plenteous for good, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which Jehovah sware unto thy fathers to give thee.여호와께서 여러분에게 주시려고 여러분 조상에게 맹세하신 땅에서, 여러분 몸의 소생과 여러분 가축의 새끼와 여러분 땅의 소산을 풍성하게 하여 여러분을 복되게 하실 것입니다.
12 Yahweh will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, and you will not borrow.Jehovah will open unto thee his good treasure the heavens, to give the rain of thy land in its season, and to bless all the work of thy hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.여호와께서 그분의 좋은 보고인 하늘을 여러분에게 여시어, 여러분 땅에 제때에 비를 내리시고 여러분 손이 하는 모든 일에 복을 주실 것입니다. 여러분은 많은 민족에게 빌려주되 빌리지 않을 것입니다.
13 Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you today, to observe and to do,And Jehovah will make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if thou shalt hearken unto the commandments of Jehovah thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them,만일 여러분이 내가 오늘 여러분에게 명령하는 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 계명을 듣고 지켜 행하면, 여호와께서 여러분을 머리가 되게 하시고 꼬리가 되게 하지 않으시며, 여러분이 오직 위에만 있고 아래에 있지 않게 하실 것입니다.
14 and shall not turn away from any of the words which I command you today, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.and shalt not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.그러므로 내가 오늘 여러분에게 명령하는 모든 말씀에서 오른쪽으로나 왼쪽으로 치우치지 말고, 다른 신들을 따라가 섬기지 마십시오.
15 But it shall come to pass, if you will not listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come on you and overtake you.But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day, that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee.그러나 만일 여러분이 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 음성을 듣지 않고, 내가 오늘 여러분에게 명령하는 그분의 모든 계명과 규례를 지켜 행하지 않으면, 이 모든 저주가 여러분에게 임하고 여러분을 따라잡을 것입니다.
16 You will be cursed in the city, and you will be cursed in the field.Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.여러분은 성읍에서도 저주를 받고, 들에서도 저주를 받을 것입니다.
17 Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed.Cursed shall be thy basket and thy kneading-trough.여러분의 광주리와 반죽 그릇이 저주를 받을 것입니다.
18 The fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock will be cursed.Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, the increase of thy cattle, and the young of thy flock.여러분 몸의 소생과 여러분 땅의 소산과 여러분 소 떼의 번식과 양 떼의 새끼가 저주를 받을 것입니다.
19 You will be cursed when you come in, and you will be cursed when you go out.Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.여러분은 들어올 때에도 저주를 받고, 나갈 때에도 저주를 받을 것입니다.
20 Yahweh will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you put your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the evil of your doings, by which you have forsaken me.Jehovah will send upon thee cursing, discomfiture, and rebuke, in all that thou puttest thy hand unto to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the evil of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.여러분이 악을 행하여 그분을 저버렸기 때문에, 여호와께서 여러분이 손대어 행하는 모든 일에 저주와 혼란과 책망을 보내시어, 여러분이 멸망하고 속히 망하기까지 이르게 하실 것입니다.
21 Yahweh will make the pestilence cling to you, until he has consumed you from off the land where you go in to possess it.Jehovah will make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest in to possess it.여호와께서 전염병이 여러분에게 달라붙게 하시어, 여러분이 차지하러 들어가는 땅에서 여러분을 멸하실 것입니다.
22 Yahweh will strike you with consumption, with fever, with inflammation, with fiery heat, with the sword, with blight, and with mildew. They will pursue you until you perish.Jehovah will smite thee with consumption, and with fever, and with inflammation, and with fiery heat, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.여호와께서 폐병과 열병과 염증과 뜨거운 열기와 칼과 마름병과 곰팡이병으로 여러분을 치실 것이며, 이것들이 여러분이 망하기까지 여러분을 따라다닐 것입니다.
23 Your sky that is over your head will be bronze, and the earth that is under you will be iron.And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.여러분 머리 위의 하늘은 놋이 되고, 여러분 아래의 땅은 쇠가 될 것입니다.
24 Yahweh will make the rain of your land powder and dust. It will come down on you from the sky, until you are destroyed.Jehovah will make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.여호와께서 여러분 땅의 비를 가루와 먼지가 되게 하실 것이니, 그것이 여러분이 멸망하기까지 하늘에서 여러분 위에 내릴 것입니다.
25 Yahweh will cause you to be struck before your enemies. You will go out one way against them, and will flee seven ways before them. You will be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth.Jehovah will cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies; thou shalt go out one way against them, and shalt flee seven ways before them: and thou shalt be tossed to and from among all the kingdoms of the earth.여호와께서 여러분을 원수들 앞에서 치게 하실 것이니, 여러분은 한 길로 그들을 치러 나갔다가 일곱 길로 그들 앞에서 도망할 것이며, 세상 모든 나라 가운데서 이리저리 내던져질 것입니다.
26 Your dead bodies will be food to all birds of the sky, and to the animals of the earth; and there will be no one to frighten them away.And thy dead body shall be food unto all birds of the heavens, and unto the beasts of the earth; and there shall be none to frighten them away.여러분의 시체는 하늘의 모든 새와 땅의 짐승들의 먹이가 될 것이며, 그것들을 쫓아낼 자가 아무도 없을 것입니다.
27 Yahweh will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with the tumors, with the scurvy, and with the itch, of which you can not be healed.Jehovah will smite thee with the boil of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scurvy, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.여호와께서 이집트의 종기와 종양과 괴혈병과 옴으로 여러분을 치실 것이니, 여러분은 그것에서 낫지 못할 것입니다.
28 Yahweh will strike you with madness, with blindness, and with astonishment of heart.Jehovah will smite thee with madness, and with blindness, and with astonishment of heart;여호와께서 미친 병과 눈먼 병과 정신의 혼미함으로 여러분을 치실 것입니다.
29 You will grope at noonday, as the blind gropes in darkness, and you shall not prosper in your ways. You will only be oppressed and robbed always, and there will be no one to save you.and thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and robbed alway, and there shall be none to save thee.그래서 눈먼 사람이 어둠 속에서 더듬는 것처럼 여러분은 대낮에도 더듬을 것이며, 여러분의 길에서 형통하지 못하고, 항상 압제와 강탈만 당할 것이며, 여러분을 구원할 자가 아무도 없을 것입니다.
30 You will betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her. You will build a house, and you won’t dwell in it. You will plant a vineyard, and not use its fruit.Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build a house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not use the fruit thereof.여러분이 여자와 약혼해도 다른 남자가 그 여자와 동침할 것이며, 집을 지어도 거기에 살지 못하고, 포도원을 가꾸어도 그 열매를 먹지 못할 것입니다.
31 Your ox will be slain before your eyes, and you will not eat any of it. Your donkey will be violently taken away from before your face, and will not be restored to you. Your sheep will be given to your enemies, and you will have no one to save you.Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to save thee.여러분의 소가 여러분 눈앞에서 잡혀도 여러분은 그것을 먹지 못하고, 여러분의 나귀가 여러분 면전에서 강제로 빼앗겨도 되돌려 받지 못하며, 여러분의 양이 원수들에게 넘겨져도 여러분을 구원할 자가 아무도 없을 것입니다.
32 Your sons and your daughters will be given to another people. Your eyes will look and fail with longing for them all day long. There will be no power in your hand.Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people; and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day: and there shall be nought in the power of thy hand.여러분의 아들딸이 다른 백성에게 넘겨질 것이며, 여러분의 눈은 종일토록 그들을 그리워하며 바라보다가 쇠할 것이고, 여러분의 손에는 아무 힘이 없을 것입니다.
33 A nation which you don’t know will eat the fruit of your ground and all of your work. You will only be oppressed and crushed always,The fruit of thy ground, and all thy labors, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway;여러분이 알지 못하는 민족이 여러분 땅의 소산과 여러분의 모든 수고의 결실을 먹어 치울 것이며, 여러분은 항상 압제와 짓밟힘만 당할 것입니다.
34 so that the sights that you see with your eyes will drive you mad.so that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.그래서 여러분은 여러분 눈으로 보게 될 광경 때문에 미치게 될 것입니다.
35 Yahweh will strike you in the knees and in the legs with a sore boil, of which you cannot be healed, from the sole of your foot to the crown of your head.Jehovah will smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore boil, whereof thou canst not be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the crown of thy head.여호와께서 여러분의 무릎과 다리를, 곧 발바닥에서 정수리까지 낫지 않는 심한 종기로 치실 것입니다.
36 Yahweh will bring you, and your king whom you will set over yourselves, to a nation that you have not known, you nor your fathers. There you will serve other gods of wood and stone.Jehovah will bring thee, and thy king whom thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation that thou hast not known, thou nor thy fathers; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.여호와께서 여러분과 여러분이 세운 왕을 여러분이나 여러분 조상이 알지 못하던 민족에게로 끌고 가실 것이며, 거기서 여러분은 나무와 돌로 된 다른 신들을 섬길 것입니다.
37 You will become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword among all the peoples where Yahweh will lead you away.And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all the peoples whither Jehovah shall lead thee away.여호와께서 여러분을 끌고 가시는 모든 백성 가운데서 여러분은 놀람거리와 속담거리와 조롱거리가 될 것입니다.
38 You will carry much seed out into the field, and will gather little in, for the locust will consume it.Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather little in; for the locust shall consume it.여러분이 많은 씨앗을 밭에 가지고 나가도 거두는 것은 적을 것이니, 메뚜기가 그것을 먹어 치울 것이기 때문입니다.
39 You will plant vineyards and dress them, but you will neither drink of the wine, nor harvest, because worms will eat them.Thou shalt plant vineyards and dress them, but thou shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worm shall eat them.여러분이 포도원을 가꾸어 손질해도 포도주를 마시지도, 포도를 거두지도 못할 것이니, 벌레가 그것을 먹을 것이기 때문입니다.
40 You will have olive trees throughout all your borders, but you won’t anoint yourself with the oil, for your olives will drop off.Thou shalt have olive-trees throughout all thy borders, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast its fruit.여러분의 모든 경계 안에 올리브나무가 있어도 여러분은 그 기름을 몸에 바르지 못할 것이니, 여러분의 올리브 열매가 떨어져 버릴 것이기 때문입니다.
41 You will father sons and daughters, but they will not be yours, for they will go into captivity.Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but they shall not be thine; for they shall go into captivity.여러분이 아들딸을 낳아도 그들이 여러분의 것이 되지 못할 것이니, 그들이 포로로 끌려갈 것이기 때문입니다.
42 Locusts will consume all of your trees and the fruit of your ground.All thy trees and the fruit of thy ground shall the locust possess.메뚜기가 여러분의 모든 나무와 여러분 땅의 소산을 차지할 것입니다.
43 The foreigner who is among you will mount up above you higher and higher, and you will come down lower and lower.The sojourner that is in the midst of thee shall mount up above thee higher and higher; and thou shalt come down lower and lower.여러분 가운데 사는 이방 사람은 점점 더 높이 올라가고, 여러분은 점점 더 낮게 내려갈 것입니다.
44 He will lend to you, and you won’t lend to him. He will be the head, and you will be the tail.He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.그가 여러분에게 빌려주되 여러분은 그에게 빌려주지 못할 것이며, 그는 머리가 되고 여러분은 꼬리가 될 것입니다.
45 All these curses will come on you, and will pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you didn’t listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded you.And all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:이 모든 저주가 여러분에게 임하여 여러분을 따라다니며 여러분을 따라잡아 여러분을 멸망시킬 것이니, 이는 여러분이 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 음성을 듣지 않고 그분이 명령하신 계명과 규례를 지키지 않았기 때문입니다.
46 They will be for a sign and for a wonder to you and to your offspring forever.and they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.그것들이 여러분과 여러분의 후손에게 영원히 표징과 징조가 될 것입니다.
47 Because you didn’t serve Yahweh your God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart, by reason of the abundance of all things;Because thou servedst not Jehovah thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, by reason of the abundance of all things;여러분이 모든 것이 풍부했음에도 기쁨과 즐거운 마음으로 여러분의 하나님 여호와를 섬기지 않았기 때문에,
48 therefore you will serve your enemies whom Yahweh sends against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in lack of all things. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies that Jehovah shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.여러분은 여호와께서 여러분을 치라고 보내시는 원수들을 굶주림과 목마름과 헐벗음과 모든 것의 궁핍 속에서 섬길 것이며, 그분이 여러분을 멸하시기까지 쇠 멍에를 여러분의 목에 메우실 것입니다.
49 Yahweh will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies: a nation whose language you will not understand,Jehovah will bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;여호와께서 먼 곳, 곧 땅끝에서 한 민족을 독수리가 날아오듯 여러분을 치게 하실 것이니, 그 민족은 여러분이 알아듣지 못하는 언어를 쓰는 민족이며,
50 a nation of fierce facial expressions, that doesn’t respect the elderly, nor show favor to the young.a nation of fierce countenance, that shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young,사나운 얼굴을 한 민족, 곧 늙은이를 존중하지 않고 젊은이에게 호의를 베풀지 않는 민족입니다.
51 They will eat the fruit of your livestock and the fruit of your ground, until you are destroyed. They also won’t leave you grain, new wine, oil, the increase of your livestock, or the young of your flock, until they have caused you to perish.and shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy ground, until thou be destroyed; that also shall not leave thee grain, new wine, or oil, the increase of thy cattle, or the young of thy flock, until they have caused thee to perish.그들은 여러분이 멸망하기까지 여러분 가축의 새끼와 여러분 땅의 소산을 먹어 치울 것이며, 여러분을 망하게 하기까지 곡식이나 새 포도주나 기름이나 여러분 소 떼의 번식이나 양 떼의 새끼를 남겨 두지 않을 것입니다.
52 They will besiege you in all your gates until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout all your land. They will besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land which Yahweh your God has given you.And they shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fortified walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land; and they shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which Jehovah thy God hath given thee.여러분이 의지하던 높고 견고한 성벽이 무너지기까지 그들이 여러분의 모든 성문을 에워쌀 것이며, 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 여러분에게 주신 온 땅, 곧 여러분의 모든 성문에서 여러분을 에워쌀 것입니다.
53 You will eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters, whom Yahweh your God has given you, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemies will distress you.And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, whom Jehovah thy God hath given thee, in the siege and in the distress wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee.여러분은 원수가 여러분을 괴롭히는 그 포위와 환난 속에서, 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 여러분에게 주신 여러분 자신의 몸의 소생, 곧 여러분 아들딸의 살을 먹게 될 것입니다.
54 The man who is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye will be evil toward his brother, toward the wife whom he loves, and toward the remnant of his children whom he has remaining,The man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children whom he hath remaining;여러분 가운데 부드럽고 매우 연약한 사람이 자기 형제와 자기 품의 아내와 자기에게 남아 있는 자녀들을 악한 눈으로 바라볼 것이며,
55 so that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he will eat, because he has nothing left to him, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemy will distress you in all your gates.so that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat, because he hath nothing left him, in the siege and in the distress wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in all thy gates.그래서 그는 자기가 먹는 자기 자녀의 살을 그들 중 누구에게도 주지 않을 것이니, 이는 원수가 여러분의 모든 성문에서 여러분을 괴롭히는 그 포위와 환난 속에서 그에게 남은 것이 아무것도 없기 때문입니다.
56 The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye will be evil toward the husband that she loves, toward her son, toward her daughter,The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,여러분 가운데 부드럽고 연약하여 연약함과 부드러움 때문에 감히 발바닥을 땅에 디디려 하지 않던 여인이, 자기 품의 남편과 자기 아들과 자기 딸을 악한 눈으로 바라볼 것이며,

58 If you will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, YAHWEH your God,If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, JEHOVAH THY GOD;만일 여러분이 이 책에 기록된 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 지켜 행하지 않고, 이 영광스럽고 두려운 이름, 곧 '여러분의 하나님 여호와'를 경외하지 않으면,
59 then Yahweh will make your plagues and the plagues of your offspring fearful, even great plagues, and of long duration, and severe sicknesses, and of long duration.then Jehovah will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.여호와께서 여러분의 재앙과 여러분 후손의 재앙을 놀랍게 하실 것이니, 곧 크고 오래가는 재앙과 중하고 오래가는 질병을 내리실 것입니다.
60 He will bring on you again all the diseases of Egypt, which you were afraid of; and they will cling to you.And he will bring upon thee again all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.그분께서 여러분이 두려워하던 이집트의 모든 질병을 다시 여러분에게 가져오실 것이며, 그것들이 여러분에게 달라붙을 것입니다.
61 Also every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this law, Yahweh will bring them on you until you are destroyed.Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will Jehovah bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.또한 이 율법책에 기록되지 않은 모든 질병과 모든 재앙까지도 여호와께서 여러분이 멸망하기까지 여러분에게 내리실 것입니다.
62 You will be left few in number, even though you were as the stars of the sky for multitude, because you didn’t listen to Yahweh your God’s voice.And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou didst not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God.여러분이 하늘의 별처럼 많았으나 적은 수만 남게 될 것이니, 이는 여러분이 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 음성을 듣지 않았기 때문입니다.
63 It will happen that as Yahweh rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so Yahweh will rejoice over you to cause you to perish and to destroy you. You will be plucked from the land that you are going in to possess.And it shall come to pass, that, as Jehovah rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so Jehovah will rejoice over you to cause you to perish, and to destroy you; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest in to possess it.여호와께서 여러분을 잘되게 하고 번성하게 하시기를 기뻐하셨던 것처럼, 여호와께서 여러분을 망하게 하고 멸하시기를 기뻐하실 것이며, 여러분은 차지하러 들어가는 그 땅에서 뽑힐 것입니다.
64 Yahweh will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth. There you will serve other gods which you have not known, you nor your fathers, even wood and stone.And Jehovah will scatter thee among all peoples, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou nor thy fathers, even wood and stone.여호와께서 여러분을 땅 이 끝에서 저 끝까지 모든 백성 가운데로 흩으실 것이며, 거기서 여러분은 여러분이나 여러분 조상이 알지 못하던 다른 신들, 곧 나무와 돌로 된 신들을 섬길 것입니다.
65 Among these nations you will find no ease, and there will be no rest for the sole of your foot; but Yahweh will give you there a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and pining of soul.And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, and there shall be no rest for the sole of thy foot: but Jehovah will give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and pining of soul;그 민족들 가운데서 여러분은 편안함을 얻지 못하고, 여러분 발바닥이 쉴 곳도 없을 것이며, 거기서 여호와께서 여러분에게 떨리는 마음과 쇠하는 눈과 시드는 영혼을 주실 것입니다.
66 Your life will hang in doubt before you. You will be afraid night and day, and will have no assurance of your life.and thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear night and day, and shalt have no assurance of thy life.여러분의 생명이 여러분 앞에서 위태롭게 매달려 있을 것이며, 여러분은 밤낮으로 두려워하고 여러분의 생명을 확신하지 못할 것입니다.
67 In the morning you will say, “ I wish it were evening!” and at evening you will say, “ I wish it were morning!” for the fear of your heart which you will fear, and for the sights which your eyes will see.In the morning thou shalt say, Would it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would it were morning! for the fear of thy heart which thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.여러분 마음이 두려워하는 그 두려움과 여러분 눈이 보게 될 그 광경 때문에, 아침에는 "저녁이 되었으면!" 하고, 저녁에는 "아침이 되었으면!" 하고 말할 것입니다.
68 Yahweh will bring you into Egypt again with ships, by the way of which I told you that you would never see it again. There you will offer yourselves to your enemies for male and female slaves, and nobody will buy you.And Jehovah will bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I said unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall sell yourselves unto your enemies for bondmen and for bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.여호와께서 내가 여러분에게 "다시는 그것을 보지 못하리라" 하고 말한 그 길로, 여러분을 배에 태워 이집트로 다시 데려가실 것이며, 거기서 여러분은 자신을 남종과 여종으로 원수들에게 팔려 하나 사 줄 사람이 아무도 없을 것입니다.
