1 Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel.And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel.모세가 나아가 이 말씀을 온 이스라엘에게 전하였다.
2 He said to them, “ I am one hundred twenty years old today. I can no more go out and come in. Yahweh has said to me, ‘ You shall not go over this Jordan.’And he said unto them, I am a hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: and Jehovah hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.그가 그들에게 말하였다. "내가 오늘 백이십 세가 되었으니, 더 이상 나가고 들어올 수 없다. 또 여호와께서 내게 말씀하시기를 '너는 이 요단 강을 건너지 못하리라' 하셨다.
3 Yahweh your God himself will go over before you. He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua will go over before you, as Yahweh has spoken.Jehovah thy God, he will go over before thee; he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt dispossess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as Jehovah hath spoken.너희 하나님 여호와께서 친히 너희보다 앞서 건너가시며, 이 민족들을 너희 앞에서 멸하실 것이니 너희가 그들을 쫓아내게 될 것이다. 여호수아가 너희보다 앞서 건너갈 것이니, 여호와께서 말씀하신 그대로다.
4 Yahweh will do to them as he did to Sihon and to Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, when he destroyed them.And Jehovah will do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, the kings of the Amorites, and unto their land; whom he destroyed.여호와께서 멸하신 아모리 사람의 두 왕 시혼과 옥과 그들의 땅에게 행하신 것처럼, 그들에게도 그대로 행하실 것이다.
5 Yahweh will deliver them up before you, and you shall do to them according to all the commandment which I have commanded you.And Jehovah will deliver them up before you, and ye shall do unto them according unto all the commandment which I have commanded you.여호와께서 그들을 너희 앞에 넘겨주실 것이니, 너희는 내가 너희에게 명령한 모든 명령대로 그들에게 행하여라.
6 Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them, for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.”Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them: for Jehovah thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.강하고 담대하여라. 두려워하지 말고 그들 앞에서 무서워하지 말아라. 너희 하나님 여호와께서 친히 너희와 함께 가시며, 너희를 떠나지도 버리지도 아니하실 것이다."
7 Moses called to Joshua, and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “ Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land which Yahweh has sworn to their fathers to give them; and you shall cause them to inherit it.And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of good courage: for thou shalt go with this people into the land which Jehovah hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.모세가 여호수아를 불러 온 이스라엘이 보는 앞에서 그에게 말하였다. "강하고 담대하여라. 너는 이 백성과 함께, 여호와께서 그들의 조상에게 주리라 맹세하신 땅으로 들어갈 것이며, 그 땅을 그들이 차지하게 할 것이다.
8 Yahweh himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged.”And Jehovah, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.여호와께서 친히 너보다 앞서 가시며 너와 함께하실 것이니, 너를 떠나지도 버리지도 아니하실 것이다. 두려워하지 말고 낙심하지 말아라."
9 Moses wrote this law and delivered it to the priests the sons of Levi, who bore the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, and to all the elders of Israel.And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, that bare the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and unto all the elders of Israel.모세가 이 율법을 기록하여, 여호와의 언약궤를 메는 레위 자손인 제사장들과 이스라엘의 모든 장로들에게 주었다.
10 Moses commanded them, saying, “ At the end of every seven years, in the set time of the year of release, in the feast of booths,And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the set time of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,모세가 그들에게 명령하여 말하였다. "매 칠 년 끝, 곧 빚을 면제하는 해의 정한 때, 초막절에,
11 when all Israel has come to appear before Yahweh your God in the place which he will choose, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing.when all Israel is come to appear before Jehovah thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.온 이스라엘이 여호와께서 택하실 곳에서 너희 하나님 여호와 앞에 나아올 때에, 너는 이 율법을 온 이스라엘 앞에서 그들이 듣도록 읽어라.
12 Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and the foreigners who are within your gates, that they may hear, learn, fear Yahweh your God, and observe to do all the words of this law,Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and thy sojourner that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear Jehovah your God, and observe to do all the words of this law;백성을, 곧 남자와 여자와 어린아이와 네 성문 안에 거하는 이방 사람을 모아라. 그래서 그들이 듣고 배우며, 너희 하나님 여호와를 경외하고, 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 삼가 지켜 행하게 하여라.
13 and that their children, who have not known, may hear and learn to fear Yahweh your God, as long as you live in the land where you go over the Jordan to possess it.”and that their children, who have not known, may hear, and learn to fear Jehovah your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over the Jordan to possess it.또 알지 못하는 그들의 자녀들도 듣고 배워서, 너희가 요단 강을 건너가 차지할 그 땅에서 사는 동안 너희 하나님 여호와를 경외하게 하여라."
14 Yahweh said to Moses, “ Behold, your days approach that you must die. Call Joshua, and present yourselves in the Tent of Meeting, that I may commission him.” Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the Tent of Meeting.And Jehovah said unto Moses, Behold, thy days approach that thou must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tent of meeting, that I may give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tent of meeting.여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. "보아라, 네가 죽을 날이 가까웠다. 여호수아를 불러 회막에 함께 서라. 내가 그에게 임무를 맡기겠다." 그래서 모세와 여호수아가 가서 회막에 섰다.
15 Yahweh appeared in the Tent in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood over the Tent’s door.And Jehovah appeared in the Tent in a pillar of cloud: and the pillar of cloud stood over the door of the Tent.여호와께서 구름 기둥 가운데서 회막에 나타나셨으니, 그 구름 기둥이 회막 문 위에 머물렀다.
16 Yahweh said to Moses, “ Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers. This people will rise up and play the prostitute after the strange gods of the land where they go to be among them, and will forsake me and break my covenant which I have made with them.And Jehovah said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and play the harlot after the strange gods of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. "보아라, 너는 네 조상들과 함께 잠들 것이다. 그러면 이 백성이 일어나, 그들이 들어가 거할 그 땅의 낯선 신들을 따라 음란하게 행하며, 나를 버리고 내가 그들과 맺은 언약을 깨뜨릴 것이다.
17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall come on them; so that they will say in that day, ‘Haven’t these evils come on us because our God is not among us?’Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall come upon them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us?그날에 내 진노가 그들을 향하여 타오를 것이며, 내가 그들을 버리고 그들에게서 내 얼굴을 숨길 것이니, 그들이 삼킴을 당하고 많은 재앙과 환난이 그들에게 닥칠 것이다. 그러면 그날에 그들이 말하기를 '우리 하나님이 우리 가운데 계시지 아니하므로 이 재앙들이 우리에게 닥친 것이 아니냐?' 할 것이다.
18 I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evil which they have done, in that they have turned to other gods.And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evil which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.그러나 그날에 나는 그들이 다른 신들에게로 돌아서서 행한 모든 악으로 인하여, 반드시 내 얼굴을 숨길 것이다.
19 “ Now therefore write this song for yourselves, and teach it to the children of Israel. Put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach thou it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.이제 너희는 이 노래를 너희를 위하여 기록하고, 그것을 이스라엘 자손에게 가르쳐 그들의 입에 두어라. 그래서 이 노래가 나를 위하여 이스라엘 자손을 향한 증거가 되게 하여라.
20 For when I have brought them into the land which I swore to their fathers, flowing with milk and honey, and they have eaten and filled themselves, and grown fat, then they will turn to other gods, and serve them, and despise me, and break my covenant.For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, flowing with milk and honey, and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxed fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and despise me, and break my covenant.내가 그들을 그들의 조상에게 맹세한 땅, 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅으로 인도한 후에, 그들이 먹어 배부르고 살찌게 되면, 그때에 그들은 다른 신들에게로 돌아서서 그들을 섬기고, 나를 멸시하며 내 언약을 깨뜨릴 것이다.
21 It will happen, when many evils and troubles have come on them, that this song will testify before them as a witness; for it will not be forgotten out of the mouths of their descendants; for I know their ways and what they are doing today, before I have brought them into the land which I promised them.”And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are come upon them, that this song shall testify before them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they frame this day, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.많은 재앙과 환난이 그들에게 닥칠 때에, 이 노래가 그들 앞에서 증거가 되어 증언할 것이다. 이는 그것이 그들의 자손의 입에서 잊혀지지 아니할 것이기 때문이다. 내가 그들을 맹세한 땅으로 인도하기 전, 오늘 그들이 품고 있는 생각을 내가 알고 있기 때문이다."

23 He commissioned Joshua the son of Nun, and said, “ Be strong and courageous; for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land which I swore to them. I will be with you.”And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of good courage; for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee.여호와께서 눈의 아들 여호수아에게 임무를 맡기시며 말씀하셨다. "강하고 담대하여라. 너는 이스라엘 자손을 내가 그들에게 맹세한 땅으로 인도할 것이며, 내가 너와 함께하리라."
24 When Moses had finished writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,모세가 이 율법의 말씀을 다 마칠 때까지 책에 기록하기를 마쳤을 때,
25 Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, saying,that Moses commanded the Levites, that bare the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, saying,모세가 여호와의 언약궤를 메는 레위 사람들에게 명령하여 말하였다.
26 “ Take this book of the law, and put it by the side of the ark of Yahweh your God’s covenant, that it may be there for a witness against you.Take this book of the law, and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of Jehovah your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee."이 율법책을 가져다가 너희 하나님 여호와의 언약궤 곁에 두어, 그것이 거기서 너희를 향한 증거가 되게 하여라.
27 For I know your rebellion and your stiff neck. Behold, while I am yet alive with you today, you have been rebellious against Yahweh. How much more after my death?For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against Jehovah; and how much more after my death?나는 너희의 반역과 너희의 목이 곧음을 알고 있다. 보아라, 내가 오늘 너희와 함께 살아 있는데도 너희가 여호와를 거역하였거든, 하물며 내가 죽은 후에는 얼마나 더하겠느냐?
28 Assemble to me all the elders of your tribes and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to witness against them.Assemble unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to witness against them.너희 지파의 모든 장로들과 너희 관리들을 내게로 모아라. 내가 이 말씀을 그들의 귀에 들려주고, 하늘과 땅을 불러 그들을 향한 증인으로 삼으려 한다.
29 For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn away from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will happen to you in the latter days, because you will do that which is evil in Yahweh’s sight, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.”For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do that which is evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.나는 내가 죽은 후에 너희가 스스로 완전히 부패하여, 내가 너희에게 명령한 길에서 떠날 것을 안다. 그러면 후일에 재앙이 너희에게 닥칠 것이니, 이는 너희가 여호와께서 보시기에 악한 일을 행하여, 너희 손의 행위로 그분의 진노를 일으킬 것이기 때문이다."
