1 It shall be, when you have come in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance, possess it, and dwell in it,And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein,여호와 네 하나님께서 네게 기업으로 주시는 땅에 네가 들어가서 그 땅을 차지하고 거기에 거주하게 되거든,
2 that you shall take some of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you shall bring in from your land that Yahweh your God gives you. You shall put it in a basket, and shall go to the place which Yahweh your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there.that thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which thou shalt bring in from thy land that Jehovah thy God giveth thee; and thou shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.너는 여호와 네 하나님께서 네게 주시는 땅에서 거두어들인 모든 토지 소산의 맏물을 가져다가 광주리에 담고, 여호와 네 하나님께서 자기 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳으로 가져가야 한다.
3 You shall come to the priest who shall be in those days, and tell him, “ I profess today to Yahweh your God, that I have come to the land which Yahweh swore to our fathers to give us.”And thou shalt come unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto Jehovah thy God, that I am come unto the land which Jehovah sware unto our fathers to give us.너는 그때에 재직하는 제사장에게 나아가 이렇게 말하여라. "내가 오늘 여호와 내 하나님께 고백합니다. 여호와께서 우리 조상들에게 주시겠다고 맹세하신 땅에 내가 들어왔습니다."
4 The priest shall take the basket out of your hand, and set it down before Yahweh your God’s altar.And the priest shall take the basket out of thy hand, and set it down before the altar of Jehovah thy God.그러면 제사장이 네 손에서 그 광주리를 받아다가 여호와 네 하나님의 제단 앞에 놓을 것이다.
5 You shall answer and say before Yahweh your God, “ My father was a Syrian ready to perish. He went down into Egypt, and lived there, few in number. There he became a great, mighty, and populous nation.And thou shalt answer and say before Jehovah thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father; and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there, few in number; and he became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous.그리고 너는 여호와 네 하나님 앞에서 이렇게 아뢰어라. "내 조상은 떠돌아다니다 망할 뻔한 아람 사람이었는데, 적은 수의 식구를 이끌고 이집트로 내려가 거기서 나그네로 살다가, 거기서 크고 강하고 번성한 민족이 되었습니다.
6 The Egyptians mistreated us, afflicted us, and imposed hard labor on us.And the Egyptians dealt ill with us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:그런데 이집트 사람들이 우리를 학대하고 괴롭혔으며 우리에게 고된 노역을 시켰습니다.
7 Then we cried to Yahweh, the God of our fathers. Yahweh heard our voice, and saw our affliction, our toil, and our oppression.and we cried unto Jehovah, the God of our fathers, and Jehovah heard our voice, and saw our affliction, and our toil, and our oppression;그래서 우리가 우리 조상의 하나님 여호와께 부르짖었더니, 여호와께서 우리 소리를 들으시고 우리의 고통과 수고와 압제를 보셨습니다.
8 Yahweh brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, with great terror, with signs, and with wonders;and Jehovah brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders;그리하여 여호와께서 강한 손과 펴신 팔과 큰 두려움과 표적과 기사로 우리를 이집트에서 인도해 내시고,
9 and he has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.and he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.우리를 이곳으로 데려오셔서 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 이 땅을 우리에게 주셨습니다.
10 Now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, Yahweh, have given me.” You shall set it down before Yahweh your God, and worship before Yahweh your God.And now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which thou, O Jehovah, hast given me. And thou shalt set it down before Jehovah thy God, and worship before Jehovah thy God:여호와여, 이제 보십시오. 주께서 내게 주신 땅의 소산 중 맏물을 내가 가져왔습니다." 그러고 나서 너는 그것을 여호와 네 하나님 앞에 놓고 여호와 네 하나님 앞에 경배하여라.
11 You shall rejoice in all the good which Yahweh your God has given to you, and to your house, you, and the Levite, and the foreigner who is among you.and thou shalt rejoice in all the good which Jehovah thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thy house, thou, and the Levite, and the sojourner that is in the midst of thee.그리고 너는 여호와 네 하나님께서 너와 네 집에 베푸신 모든 좋은 것을 두고, 너와 레위 사람과 너희 가운데 거주하는 나그네가 함께 즐거워하여라.
12 When you have finished tithing all the tithe of your increase in the third year, which is the year of tithing, then you shall give it to the Levite, to the foreigner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within your gates and be filled.When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithe of thine increase in the third year, which is the year of tithing, then thou shalt give it unto the Levite, to the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled.셋째 해, 곧 십일조를 드리는 해에 네가 네 모든 소출의 십일조 드리기를 마치거든, 그것을 레위 사람과 나그네와 고아와 과부에게 주어 그들이 네 성안에서 먹고 배부르게 하여라.
13 You shall say before Yahweh your God, “ I have put away the holy things out of my house, and also have given them to the Levite, to the foreigner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all your commandment which you have commanded me. I have not transgressed any of your commandments, neither have I forgotten them.And thou shalt say before Jehovah thy God, I have put away the hallowed things out of my house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandment which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed any of thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:그리고 너는 여호와 네 하나님 앞에서 이렇게 아뢰어라. "내가 거룩한 것을 내 집에서 가져다가 레위 사람과 나그네와 고아와 과부에게 주되, 주께서 내게 명령하신 모든 명령대로 행하였으며, 주의 명령을 하나도 어기거나 잊지 않았습니다.
14 I have not eaten of it in my mourning, neither have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor given of it for the dead. I have listened to Yahweh my God’s voice. I have done according to all that you have commanded me.I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I put away thereof, being unclean, nor given thereof for the dead: I have hearkened to the voice of Jehovah my God; I have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.나는 슬퍼할 때에 그것을 먹지 않았고, 부정한 몸으로 그것을 거두지 않았으며, 죽은 자를 위하여 그것을 쓰지도 않았습니다. 나는 여호와 내 하나님의 목소리에 순종하여 주께서 내게 명령하신 모든 것을 그대로 행하였습니다.
15 Look down from your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless your people Israel, and the ground which you have given us, as you swore to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.”Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the ground which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.주의 거룩한 처소 하늘에서 굽어보시고, 주의 백성 이스라엘과 주께서 우리 조상들에게 맹세하신 대로 우리에게 주신 땅, 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 이 땅에 복을 내려 주십시오."
16 Today Yahweh your God commands you to do these statutes and ordinances. You shall therefore keep and do them with all your heart and with all your soul.This day Jehovah thy God commandeth thee to do these statutes and ordinances: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thy heart, and with all thy soul.오늘 여호와 네 하나님께서 이 규례와 법도를 행하라고 네게 명령하시니, 너는 마음을 다하고 정성을 다하여 그것을 지켜 행하여라.
17 You have declared today that Yahweh is your God, and that you would walk in his ways, keep his statutes, his commandments, and his ordinances, and listen to his voice.Thou hast avouched Jehovah this day to be thy God, and that thou wouldest walk in his ways, and keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and hearken unto his voice:너는 오늘 여호와를 네 하나님으로 인정하고, 그의 길로 행하며, 그의 규례와 명령과 법도를 지키고, 그의 목소리에 순종하겠다고 선언하였다.
18 Yahweh has declared today that you are a people for his own possession, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments.and Jehovah hath avouched thee this day to be a people for his own possession, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;또 여호와께서도 오늘 너를 약속하신 대로 자기의 보배로운 백성으로 삼으셨으니, 너는 그의 모든 명령을 지켜야 한다.
19 He will make you high above all nations that he has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to Yahweh your God, as he has spoken.and to make thee high above all nations that he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that thou mayest be a holy people unto Jehovah thy God, as he hath spoken.그리하여 여호와께서 그가 지으신 모든 민족 위에 너를 뛰어나게 하셔서 찬송과 명예와 영광을 받게 하시고, 그가 말씀하신 대로 너를 여호와 네 하나님의 거룩한 백성이 되게 하실 것이다.
