1 Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is opposite Jericho. Yahweh showed him all the land of Gilead to Dan,And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And Jehovah showed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,모세가 모압 평지에서 느보산 곧 여리고 맞은편에 있는 비스가 꼭대기로 올라가니, 여호와께서 그에게 길르앗 온 땅을 단까지 보여 주셨다.
2 and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, to the Western Sea,and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the hinder sea,또 납달리 온 땅과 에브라임과 므낫세의 땅과 유다 온 땅을 서쪽 바다까지 보여 주셨고,
3 and the south, and the Plain of the valley of Jericho the city of palm trees, to Zoar.and the South, and the Plain of the valley of Jericho the city of palm-trees, unto Zoar.남쪽 지방과 종려나무의 성읍 여리고 골짜기 평지를 소알까지 보여 주셨다.
4 Yahweh said to him, “ This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, ‘ I will give it to your offspring.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.”And Jehovah said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.여호와께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. "이것이 내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 '내가 이 땅을 네 후손에게 주겠다'고 맹세한 그 땅이다. 내가 네 눈으로 그것을 보게 하였으나, 너는 그리로 건너가지 못할 것이다."
5 So Moses the servant of Yahweh died there in the land of Moab, according to Yahweh’s word.So Moses the servant of Jehovah died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of Jehovah.그리하여 여호와의 종 모세가 여호와의 말씀대로 그곳 모압 땅에서 죽었다.
6 He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth Peor, but no man knows where his tomb is to this day.And he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.여호와께서 그를 모압 땅, 벳브올 맞은편 골짜기에 묻으셨으나, 오늘까지 아무도 그의 무덤을 알지 못한다.
7 Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dim, nor his strength gone.And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.모세가 죽을 때 나이가 백이십 세였으나, 그의 눈은 흐려지지 않았고 기력도 쇠하지 않았다.
8 The children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the days of weeping in the mourning for Moses were ended.And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping in the mourning for Moses were ended.이스라엘 자손이 모압 평지에서 삼십 일 동안 모세를 위해 울었으니, 이로써 모세를 애도하며 우는 날이 끝났다.
9 Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. The children of Israel listened to him, and did as Yahweh commanded Moses.And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as Jehovah commanded Moses.모세가 눈의 아들 여호수아에게 안수하였으므로 그가 지혜의 영으로 충만하였고, 이스라엘 자손이 그의 말을 듣고 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 행하였다.
10 Since then, there has not arisen a prophet in Israel like Moses, whom Yahweh knew face to face,And there hath not arisen a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom Jehovah knew face to face,그 후로 이스라엘에는 모세와 같은 선지자가 다시 일어나지 않았으니, 그는 여호와께서 얼굴을 마주 대하여 아시던 사람이었다.
11 in all the signs and the wonders which Yahweh sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,in all the signs and the wonders, which Jehovah sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,여호와께서 그를 보내어 이집트 땅에서 바로와 그의 모든 신하와 그의 온 땅에 행하게 하신 모든 표적과 기사에 있어서나,
12 and in all the mighty hand, and in all the awesome deeds, which Moses did in the sight of all Israel.and in all the mighty hand, and in all the great terror, which Moses wrought in the sight of all Israel.모세가 온 이스라엘이 보는 앞에서 행한 그 모든 강한 손과 모든 큰 두려운 일에 있어서나 그와 같은 자가 없었다.
