Deuteronomy 27장

1 Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, “ Keep all the commandment which I command you today.And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandment which I command you this day.모세와 이스라엘의 장로들이 백성에게 명령하여 말했다. "내가 오늘 너희에게 명령하는 모든 계명을 지키라.

2 It shall be on the day when you shall pass over the Jordan to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, that you shall set yourself up great stones, and coat them with plaster.And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:너희가 여호와 너희 하나님께서 너희에게 주시는 땅으로 들어가려고 요단강을 건너는 날에, 너희는 큰 돌들을 세우고 거기에 회칠을 하라.

3 You shall write on them all the words of this law, when you have passed over, that you may go in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised you.and thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over; that thou mayest go in unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath promised thee.너희가 건넌 뒤에 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 그 돌들 위에 기록하라. 그리하면 여호와 너희 하나님께서 너희에게 주시는 땅, 곧 여호와 너희 조상의 하나님께서 너희에게 약속하신 대로 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅으로 너희가 들어가게 될 것이다.

4 It shall be, when you have crossed over the Jordan, that you shall set up these stones, which I command you today, on Mount Ebal, and you shall coat them with plaster.And it shall be, when ye are passed over the Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.너희가 요단강을 건넌 뒤에는, 내가 오늘 너희에게 명령하는 이 돌들을 에발산에 세우고 거기에 회칠을 하라.

5 There you shall build an altar to Yahweh your God, an altar of stones. You shall not use any iron tool on them.And there shalt thou build an altar unto Jehovah thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt lift up no iron tool upon them.그곳에서 너희는 여호와 너희 하나님을 위하여 제단을 쌓되, 돌로 만든 제단을 쌓으라. 그 돌들 위에 쇠 연장을 대지 말라.

6 You shall build Yahweh your God’s altar of uncut stones. You shall offer burnt offerings on it to Yahweh your God.Thou shalt build the altar of Jehovah thy God of unhewn stones; and thou shalt offer burnt-offerings thereon unto Jehovah thy God:다듬지 않은 돌로 여호와 너희 하나님의 제단을 쌓고, 그 위에서 여호와 너희 하나님께 번제를 드리라.

7 You shall sacrifice peace offerings, and shall eat there. You shall rejoice before Yahweh your God.and thou shalt sacrifice peace-offerings, and shalt eat there; and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God.또 화목제를 드리고 그곳에서 먹으며, 여호와 너희 하나님 앞에서 즐거워하라.

8 You shall write on the stones all the words of this law very plainly.”And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.너희는 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 그 돌들 위에 아주 분명하게 기록하라."

9 Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel, saying, “ Be silent and listen, Israel! Today you have become the people of Yahweh your God.And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Keep silence, and hearken, O Israel: This day thou art become the people of Jehovah thy God.모세와 레위 사람 제사장들이 온 이스라엘에게 말했다. "이스라엘아, 잠잠하고 들으라. 오늘 너희가 여호와 너희 하나님의 백성이 되었다.

10 You shall therefore obey Yahweh your God’s voice, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command you today.”Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of Jehovah thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.그러므로 너희는 여호와 너희 하나님의 음성에 순종하고, 내가 오늘 너희에게 명령하는 그분의 계명과 규례를 행하라."

11 Moses commanded the people the same day, saying,And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,그날 모세가 백성에게 명령하여 말했다.

12 “ These shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you have crossed over the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are passed over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin."너희가 요단강을 건넌 뒤에 이 지파들은 그리심산에 서서 백성을 축복하라. 시므온과 레위와 유다와 잇사갈과 요셉과 베냐민이라.

13 These shall stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.And these shall stand upon mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.그리고 이 지파들은 에발산에 서서 저주를 선포하라. 르우벤과 갓과 아셀과 스불론과 단과 납달리라.

14 With a loud voice, the Levites shall say to all the men of Israel,And the Levites shall answer, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,레위 사람들은 큰 소리로 이스라엘 모든 사람에게 응답하여 이렇게 말하라.

15 ‘Cursed is the man who makes an engraved or molten image, an abomination to Yahweh, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ All the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be the man that maketh a graven or molten image, an abomination unto Jehovah, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and setteth it up in secret. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.'여호와께서 미워하시는 새긴 우상이나 부어 만든 우상, 곧 장인의 손으로 만든 것을 만들어 몰래 세우는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 응답하여 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

16 ‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or his mother.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.'자기 아버지나 어머니를 업신여기는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

17 ‘Cursed is he who removes his neighbor’s landmark.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor’s landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.'자기 이웃의 경계표를 옮기는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

18 ‘Cursed is he who leads the blind astray on the road.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.'눈먼 사람을 길에서 벗어나 헤매게 하는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

19 ‘Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, fatherless, and widow.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be he that wresteth the justice due to the sojourner, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.'이방 사람과 고아와 과부의 정의를 굽게 하는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

20 ‘Cursed is he who lies with his father’s wife, because he dishonors his father’s bed.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be he that lieth with his father’s wife, because he hath uncovered his father’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.'자기 아버지의 아내와 동침하는 자는 저주를 받으리라. 이는 그가 아버지의 하체를 드러냈기 때문이다.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

21 ‘Cursed is he who lies with any kind of animal.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.'어떤 짐승과든지 동침하는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

22 ‘Cursed is he who lies with his sister, his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.'자기 아버지의 딸이나 어머니의 딸인 자기 누이와 동침하는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

23 ‘Cursed is he who lies with his mother-in-law.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be he that lieth with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say, Amen.'자기 장모와 동침하는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

24 ‘Cursed is he who secretly kills his neighbor.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbor in secret. And all the people shall say, Amen.'몰래 자기 이웃을 치는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

25 ‘Cursed is he who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’Cursed be he that taketh a bribe to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.'무죄한 사람을 죽이려고 뇌물을 받는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라.

26 ‘Cursed is he who doesn’t uphold the words of this law by doing them.’ All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’”Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.'이 율법의 말씀을 지켜 행하지 않는 자는 저주를 받으리라.' 그러면 모든 백성이 '아멘' 하고 말하라."
