3 “ Hear, you kings! Give ear, you princes! I, even I, will sing to Yahweh. I will sing praise to Yahweh, the God of Israel.Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto Jehovah; I will sing praise to Jehovah, the God of Israel.너희 왕들아, 들어라! 너희 통치자들아, 귀를 기울여라! 나, 바로 내가 여호와께 노래하리니, 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와를 찬양하여 노래하리라.

4 “ Yahweh, when you went out of Seir, when you marched out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the sky also dropped. 10 “ Speak, you who ride on white donkeys, you who sit on rich carpets, and you who walk by the way.Tell of it, ye that ride on white asses, Ye that sit on rich carpets, And ye that walk by the way.흰 나귀를 타고 다니는 자들아, 값진 양탄자에 앉은 자들아, 길을 걸어가는 자들아, 노래하여라.

Arise, Barak, and lead away your captives, you son of Abinoam.’Awake, awake, Deborah; Awake, awake, utter a song: Arise, Barak, and lead away thy captives, thou son of Abinoam.‘깨어라, 깨어라, 드보라야! 깨어라, 깨어라, 노래를 불러라! 일어나라, 바락아, 네 사로잡은 자들을 끌고 가라, 아비노암의 아들아.’

They took no plunder of silver.The kings came and fought; Then fought the kings of Canaan, In Taanach by the waters of Megiddo: They took no gain of money.왕들이 와서 싸웠으니, 그때에 가나안의 왕들이 므깃도 물가의 다아낙에서 싸웠으나, 그들은 은을 노략물로 가져가지 못하였습니다.

20 From the sky the stars fought. From their courses, they fought against Sisera.From heaven fought the stars, From their courses they fought against Sisera.하늘에서 별들이 싸웠으니, 그 다니는 길에서 시스라를 대적하여 싸웠습니다.

21 The river Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. My soul, march on with strength.The river Kishon swept them away, That ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, march on with strength.기손 강이 그들을 휩쓸어 갔으니, 그 옛 강, 기손 강이었습니다. 내 영혼아, 힘차게 나아가라.

22 Then the horse hoofs stamped because of the prancing, the prancing of their strong ones.Then did the horsehoofs stamp By reason of the prancings, the prancings of their strong ones.그때에 말발굽이 뛰고 또 뛰니, 그 힘센 말들이 내달려 땅을 굴렀습니다.

23 ‘Curse Meroz,’ said Yahweh’s angel. ‘Curse bitterly its inhabitants, because they didn’t come to help Yahweh, to help Yahweh against the mighty.’Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of Jehovah. Curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof, Because they came not to the help of Jehovah, To the help of Jehovah against the mighty.‘메로스를 저주하여라.’ 여호와의 천사가 말하였습니다. ‘그 주민들을 모질게 저주하여라. 그들이 여호와를 도우러, 강한 자들을 치는 여호와를 도우러 오지 않았기 때문이다.’

24 “ Jael shall be blessed above women, the wife of Heber the Kenite; blessed shall she be above women in the tent.Blessed above women shall Jael be, The wife of Heber the Kenite; Blessed shall she be above women in the tent.겐 사람 헤벨의 아내 야엘은 여인들 가운데 복을 받을 것이니, 장막에 있는 여인들 가운데 복을 받을 것입니다.

25 He asked for water. She gave him milk. She brought him butter in a lordly dish.He asked water, and she gave him milk; She brought him butter in a lordly dish.그가 물을 청하니 그 여인이 젖을 주었고, 귀한 그릇에 엉긴 젖을 담아 가져왔습니다.

26 She put her hand to the tent peg, and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer. With the hammer she struck Sisera. She struck through his head. Yes, she pierced and struck through his temples.She put her hand to the tent-pin, And her right hand to the workmen’s hammer; And with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote through his head; Yea, she pierced and struck through his temples.그가 손을 장막 말뚝에 대고 오른손을 일꾼의 망치에 대어, 그 망치로 시스라를 쳤으니, 그 머리를 쳐서 그렇습니다, 그 관자놀이를 꿰뚫어 박살을 내었습니다.

27 At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay. At her feet he bowed, he fell. Where he bowed, there he fell down dead.At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay; At her feet he bowed, he fell: Where he bowed, there he fell down dead.그가 야엘의 발 앞에 몸을 굽혀 쓰러져 누웠으니, 그가 야엘의 발 앞에 몸을 굽혀 쓰러졌습니다. 그가 몸을 굽힌 그곳에서 쓰러져 죽었습니다.

28 “ Through the window she looked out, and cried: Sisera’s mother looked through the lattice. ‘ Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why do the wheels of his chariots wait?’Through the window she looked forth, and cried, The mother of Sisera cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why tarry the wheels of his chariots?시스라의 어머니가 창문으로 내다보며 격자창 너머로 외쳤습니다. ‘어찌하여 그의 병거가 이리도 더디 오는가? 어찌하여 그 병거 바퀴가 늦어지는가?’

29 Her wise ladies answered her, Yes, she returned answer to herself,Her wise ladies answered her, Yea, she returned answer to herself,그의 지혜로운 시녀들이 대답하였고, 그 어머니도 스스로 대답하여 말하였습니다.

30 ‘ Have they not found, have they not divided the plunder? A lady, two ladies to every man; to Sisera a plunder of dyed garments, a plunder of dyed garments embroidered, of dyed garments embroidered on both sides, on the necks of the plunder?’Have they not found, have they not divided the spoil? A damsel, two damsels to every man; To Sisera a spoil of dyed garments, A spoil of dyed garments embroidered, Of dyed garments embroidered on both sides, on the necks of the spoil?‘그들이 노략물을 얻어 나누고 있지 않겠습니까? 사람마다 한두 처녀씩, 시스라에게는 물들인 옷가지, 물들이고 수놓은 옷가지, 양쪽으로 수놓은 옷가지를 노략물로, 노략한 자들의 목에 두를 것이 아니겠습니까?’

31 “ So let all your enemies perish, Yahweh, but let those who love him be as the sun when it rises in its strength.” Then the land had rest forty years.So let all thine enemies perish, O Jehovah: But let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.“여호와여, 주의 모든 원수가 이같이 망하게 하소서. 그러나 주를 사랑하는 자들은 해가 힘차게 떠오를 때와 같게 하소서.” 그 후에 그 땅이 사십 년 동안 평온하였습니다.
