1 There was a man of the hill country of Ephraim, whose name was Micah.And there was a man of the hill-country of Ephraim, whose name was Micah.에브라임 산간 지방에 미가라는 이름의 사람이 있었다.
2 He said to his mother, “ The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse, and also spoke it in my ears— behold, the silver is with me. I took it.” His mother said, “ May Yahweh bless my son!”And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou didst utter a curse, and didst also speak it in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be my son of Jehovah.그가 자기 어머니에게 말했다. "어머니에게서 없어진 은 천백 개, 그것 때문에 어머니가 저주의 말을 하시고 제 귀에 대고도 그렇게 말씀하셨는데, 보십시오, 그 은이 제게 있습니다. 제가 가져갔습니다." 그러자 그의 어머니가 말했다. 3 He restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother, then his mother said, “ I most certainly dedicate the silver to Yahweh from my hand for my son, to make a carved image and a molten image. Now therefore I will restore it to you.”And he restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother; and his mother said, I verily dedicate the silver unto Jehovah from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.그가 그 은 천백 개를 어머니에게 돌려주니, 어머니가 말했다. 4 When he restored the money to his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave them to a silversmith, who made a carved image and a molten image out of it. 7 There was a young man out of Bethlehem Judah, of the family of Judah, who was a Levite; and he lived there.And there was a young man out of Beth-lehem-judah, of the family of Judah, who was a Levite; and he sojourned there.유다 베들레헴 출신으로 유다 가문에 속한 한 젊은이가 있었는데, 그는 레위 사람이었고 그곳에 머물러 살고 있었다.
8 The man departed out of the city, out of Bethlehem Judah, to live where he could find a place, and he came to the hill country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, as he traveled.And the man departed out of the city, out of Beth-lehem-judah, to sojourn where he could find a place, and he came to the hill-country of Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.그 사람이 유다 베들레헴 성읍을 떠나 머물 곳을 찾아 살려고 길을 가다가, 여행 중에 에브라임 산간 지방 미가의 집에 이르렀다.
9 Micah said to him, “Where did you come from?” He said to him, “ I am a Levite of Bethlehem Judah, and I am looking for a place to live.”And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Beth-lehem-judah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.미가가 그에게 말했다. "어디서 오셨소?" 그가 미가에게 말했다. "나는 유다 베들레헴 출신 레위 사람인데, 머물러 살 곳을 찾고 있습니다."
10 Micah said to him, “ Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver per year, a suit of clothing, and your food.” So the Levite went in.And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten pieces of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. 11 The Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was to him as one of his sons.And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.그 레위 사람은 그 사람과 함께 사는 것에 만족하였고, 그 젊은이는 미가에게 자기 아들 가운데 하나처럼 되었다.
12 Micah consecrated the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.And Micah consecrated the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.미가가 그 레위 사람을 세우니, 그 젊은이는 미가의 제사장이 되어 미가의 집에 있었다.
13 Then Micah said, “ Now I know that Yahweh will do good to me, since I have a Levite as my priest.”Then said Micah, Now know I that Jehovah will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.그때 미가가 말했다. "이제야 내가 알겠다. 내게 레위 사람이 제사장으로 있으니, 여호와께서 내게 복을 주시리라."
