1 The children of Israel again did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, when Ehud was dead.And the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, when Ehud was dead.에훗이 죽은 뒤에, 이스라엘 자손은 다시 여호와께서 보시기에 악한 일을 저질렀다.
2 Yahweh sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth of the Gentiles.And Jehovah sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, who dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.그래서 여호와께서는 그들을 하솔에서 다스리던 가나안 왕 야빈의 손에 파셨다. 그의 군대 지휘관은 시스라였는데, 그는 이방 사람의 땅 하로셋에 살고 있었다.

6 She sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh Naphtali, and said to him, “Hasn’t Yahweh, the God of Israel, commanded, ‘ Go and lead the way to Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not Jehovah, the God of Israel, commanded, saying, Go and draw unto mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?그녀는 사람을 보내어 게데스납달리에서 아비노암의 아들 바락을 불러다가 그에게 말하였다. "이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이렇게 명령하지 않으셨습니까? '가서 다볼 산으로 진군하여, 납달리 자손과 스불론 자손 중에서 만 명을 데리고 가거라.
7 I will draw to you, to the river Kishon, Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into your hand.’”And I will draw unto thee, to the river Kishon, Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thy hand.내가 야빈의 군대 지휘관 시스라와 그의 병거들과 그의 무리를 기손 강가로 너에게 이끌어다가, 그를 네 손에 넘겨주겠다.'"
8 Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go.”And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go; but if thou wilt not go with me, I will not go.바락이 그녀에게 말하였다. "당신이 나와 함께 가면 나도 가겠지만, 당신이 나와 함께 가지 않으면 나도 가지 않겠습니다."
9 She said, “ I will surely go with you. Nevertheless, the journey that you take won’t be for your honor; for Yahweh will sell Sisera into a woman’s hand.” Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding, the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honor; for Jehovah will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.그녀가 말하였다. "내가 반드시 당신과 함께 가겠습니다. 그러나 당신이 가는 이 길에서는 영광이 당신에게 돌아가지 않을 것입니다. 여호와께서 시스라를 한 여인의 손에 파실 것이기 때문입니다." 드보라는 일어나 바락과 함께 게데스로 갔다.
10 Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh. Ten thousand men followed him; and Deborah went up with him.And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali together to Kedesh; and there went up ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.바락이 스불론과 납달리를 게데스로 불러 모으니, 만 명이 그를 따라 올라갔고, 드보라도 그와 함께 올라갔다.

12 They told Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor.And they told Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.아비노암의 아들 바락이 다볼 산으로 올라갔다고 사람들이 시스라에게 알렸다.
13 Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people who were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles, to the river Kishon.And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles, unto the river Kishon.그러자 시스라는 자기의 모든 병거, 곧 철 병거 구백 대와 함께 있던 모든 백성을 이방 사람의 땅 하로셋에서 기손 강가로 모두 불러 모았다.
14 Deborah said to Barak, “ Go; for this is the day in which Yahweh has delivered Sisera into your hand. Hasn’t Yahweh gone out before you?” So Barak went down from Mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which Jehovah hath delivered Sisera into thy hand; is not Jehovah gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.드보라가 바락에게 말하였다. "일어나십시오. 오늘이 바로 여호와께서 시스라를 당신의 손에 넘겨주신 날입니다. 여호와께서 당신보다 앞서 나아가지 않으셨습니까?" 그래서 바락이 만 명을 거느리고 다볼 산에서 내려갔다.
15 Yahweh confused Sisera, all his chariots, and all his army, with the edge of the sword before Barak. Sisera abandoned his chariot and fled away on his feet.And Jehovah discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot, and fled away on his feet.여호와께서 바락 앞에서 시스라와 그의 모든 병거와 그의 모든 군대를 칼날로 어지럽게 흩으시니, 시스라는 병거에서 뛰어내려 걸어서 도망쳤다.
16 But Barak pursued the chariots and the army to Harosheth of the Gentiles; and all the army of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword. There was not a man left.But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell by the edge of the sword; there was not a man left.바락은 이방 사람의 땅 하로셋까지 병거와 군대를 추격하였고, 시스라의 온 군대는 칼날에 쓰러져 한 사람도 남지 않았다.
17 However Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite; for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite; for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.그러나 시스라는 걸어서 겐 사람 헤벨의 아내 야엘의 장막으로 도망쳤다. 하솔 왕 야빈과 겐 사람 헤벨의 집안 사이에는 평화가 있었기 때문이다.
18 Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him, “ Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; don’t be afraid.” He came in to her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug.And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And he turned in unto her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug.야엘이 나와 시스라를 맞으며 말하였다. "내 주여, 들어오십시오. 제게로 들어오시고 두려워하지 마십시오." 그가 그녀의 장막으로 들어가니, 그녀가 그를 이불로 덮어 주었다.
19 He said to her, “ Please give me a little water to drink; for I am thirsty.” She opened a container of milk, and gave him a drink, and covered him.And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.그가 그녀에게 말하였다. "목이 마르니 마실 물을 조금만 주십시오." 그녀가 우유가 든 가죽 부대를 열어 마시게 하고, 다시 그를 덮어 주었다.
20 He said to her, “ Stand in the door of the tent, and if any man comes and inquires of you, and says, ‘ Is there any man here?’ you shall say, ‘ No.’”And he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and inquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.그가 그녀에게 말하였다. 21 Then Jael, Heber’s wife, took a tent peg, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him, and struck the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground, for he was in a deep sleep; so he fainted and died.Then Jael Heber’s wife took a tent-pin, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground; for he was in a deep sleep; so he swooned and died.그런데 헤벨의 아내 야엘이 장막 말뚝과 망치를 손에 들고 그에게 살그머니 다가가, 그 말뚝을 그의 관자놀이에 박으니 땅에까지 꿰뚫렸다. 그가 깊이 잠들어 지쳐 있었으므로 그대로 죽고 말았다.
22 Behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said to him, “ Come, and I will show you the man whom you seek.” He came to her; and behold, Sisera lay dead, and the tent peg was in his temples.And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will show thee the man whom thou seekest. And he came unto her; and, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the tent-pin was in his temples.바락이 시스라를 쫓아왔을 때, 야엘이 나와 그를 맞으며 말하였다. "오십시오. 당신이 찾는 사람을 보여 드리겠습니다." 그가 그녀에게로 가 보니, 시스라가 죽어 누워 있었고 그 관자놀이에는 장막 말뚝이 박혀 있었다.
23 So God subdued Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel on that day.So God subdued on that day Jabin the king of Canaan before the children of Israel.이렇게 하나님께서는 그날 가나안 왕 야빈을 이스라엘 자손 앞에 굴복시키셨다.
24 The hand of the children of Israel prevailed more and more against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.And the hand of the children of Israel prevailed more and more against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.이스라엘 자손의 손이 가나안 왕 야빈을 점점 더 세게 눌러, 마침내 가나안 왕 야빈을 멸망시켰다.
