1 Then the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.Then came near the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel;그때에 레위 사람의 조상 가문의 우두머리들이 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아와 이스라엘 자손 지파들의 조상 가문의 우두머리들에게 나아왔다.
2 They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, “ Yahweh commanded through Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their pasture lands for our livestock.”and they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, Jehovah commanded by Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.그들이 가나안 땅 실로에서 그들에게 말하였다. "여호와께서 모세를 통해 우리가 살 성읍들과 우리 가축을 위한 그 목초지를 주라고 명령하셨습니다."
3 The children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of Yahweh, these cities with their pasture lands.And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of Jehovah, these cities with their suburbs.그래서 이스라엘 자손이 여호와의 명령을 따라 자기들의 기업 가운데서 이 성읍들과 그 목초지를 레위 사람에게 주었다.
4 The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.제비를 뽑으니 그핫 사람의 가문들을 위한 것이 나왔다. 레위 사람 가운데 제사장 아론의 자손은 유다 지파와 시므온 지파와 베냐민 지파에서 제비로 열세 성읍을 얻었다.
5 The rest of the children of Kohath had ten cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.그핫의 남은 자손은 에브라임 지파의 가문들과 단 지파와 므낫세 반 지파에서 제비로 열 성읍을 얻었다.
6 The children of Gershon had thirteen cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, out of the tribe of Asher, out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.게르손의 자손은 잇사갈 지파의 가문들과 아셀 지파와 납달리 지파와 바산에 있는 므낫세 반 지파에서 제비로 열세 성읍을 얻었다.
7 The children of Merari according to their families had twelve cities out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.The children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.므라리의 자손은 그 가문대로 르우벤 지파와 갓 지파와 스불론 지파에서 열두 성읍을 얻었다.
8 The children of Israel gave these cities with their pasture lands by lot to the Levites, as Yahweh commanded by Moses.And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as Jehovah commanded by Moses.이렇게 이스라엘 자손은 여호와께서 모세를 통해 명령하신 대로 이 성읍들과 그 목초지를 제비를 뽑아 레위 사람에게 주었다.
9 They gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are mentioned by name:And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name:그들은 유다 자손 지파와 시므온 자손 지파에서 이름이 기록된 이 성읍들을 내주었는데,
10 and they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.and they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.이는 레위 자손에 속한 그핫 가문 가운데 아론의 자손을 위한 것이었으니, 첫 번째 제비가 그들의 것이 되었기 때문이다.
11 They gave them Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak ( also called Hebron ), in the hill country of Judah, with its pasture lands around it.And they gave them Kiriath-arba, which Arba was the father of Anak ( the same is Hebron ), in the hill-country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.그들이 유다 산지에 있는 기럇 아르바 곧 헤브론과 그 주위의 목초지를 아론 자손에게 주었으니, 아르바는 아낙의 조상이었다.
12 But they gave the fields of the city and its villages to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.그러나 그 성읍의 들과 마을들은 여분네의 아들 갈렙에게 기업으로 주었다.
13 To the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, Libnah with its pasture lands,And unto the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Libnah with its suburbs,제사장 아론의 자손에게는 살인자가 피할 도피성인 헤브론과 그 목초지, 그리고 립나와 그 목초지,
14 Jattir with its pasture lands, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,and Jattir with its suburbs, and Eshtemoa with its suburbs,얏딜과 그 목초지, 에스드모아와 그 목초지,
15 Holon with its pasture lands, Debir with its pasture lands,and Holon with its suburbs, and Debir with its suburbs,홀론과 그 목초지, 드빌과 그 목초지,
16 Ain with its pasture lands, Juttah with its pasture lands, and Beth Shemesh with its pasture lands: nine cities out of those two tribes.and Ain with its suburbs, and Juttah with its suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with its suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.아인과 그 목초지, 윳다와 그 목초지, 벧 세메스와 그 목초지를 주었으니, 이 두 지파에서 나온 아홉 성읍이었다.
17 Out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its pasture lands, Geba with its pasture lands,And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with its suburbs, Geba with its suburbs,또 베냐민 지파에서 기브온과 그 목초지, 게바와 그 목초지,
18 Anathoth with its pasture lands, and Almon with its pasture lands: four cities.Anathoth with its suburbs, and Almon with its suburbs; four cities.아나돗과 그 목초지, 알몬과 그 목초지 네 성읍을 주었다.
19 All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.제사장 아론 자손의 모든 성읍은 그 목초지와 함께 열세 성읍이었다.
20 The families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the children of Kohath, had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the children of Kohath, they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.레위 사람인 그핫 자손의 가문들 곧 그핫의 남은 자손은 에브라임 지파에서 제비로 성읍들을 얻었다.
21 They gave them Shechem with its pasture lands in the hill country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Gezer with its pasture lands,And they gave them Shechem with its suburbs in the hill-country of Ephraim, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Gezer with its suburbs,그들이 에브라임 산지에 있는 살인자의 도피성인 세겜과 그 목초지, 게셀과 그 목초지,
22 Kibzaim with its pasture lands, and Beth Horon with its pasture lands: four cities.and Kibzaim with its suburbs, and Beth-horon with its suburbs; four cities.깁사임과 그 목초지, 벧 호론과 그 목초지 네 성읍을 주었다.
23 Out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its pasture lands, Gibbethon with its pasture lands,And out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke with its suburbs, Gibbethon with its suburbs,또 단 지파에서 엘드게와 그 목초지, 깁브돈과 그 목초지,
24 Aijalon with its pasture lands, Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands: four cities.Aijalon with its suburbs, Gath-rimmon with its suburbs; four cities.아얄론과 그 목초지, 가드 림몬과 그 목초지 네 성읍을 주었다.
25 Out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its pasture lands, and Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands: two cities.And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with its suburbs; two cities.또 므낫세 반 지파에서 다아낙과 그 목초지, 가드 림몬과 그 목초지 두 성읍을 주었다.
26 All the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with their pasture lands.All the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbs.그핫의 남은 자손의 가문들의 모든 성읍은 그 목초지와 함께 열 성읍이었다.
27 They gave to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh Golan in Bashan with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Be Eshterah with its pasture lands: two cities.And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Be-eshterah with its suburbs; two cities.레위 사람의 가문들에 속한 게르손 자손에게는 므낫세 반 지파에서 살인자의 도피성인 바산의 골란과 그 목초지, 브에스드라와 그 목초지 두 성읍을 주었다.

30 Out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its pasture lands, Abdon with its pasture lands,And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with its suburbs, Abdon with its suburbs,또 아셀 지파에서 미살과 그 목초지, 압돈과 그 목초지,
31 Helkath with its pasture lands, and Rehob with its pasture lands: four cities.Helkath with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs; four cities.헬갓과 그 목초지, 르홉과 그 목초지 네 성읍을 주었다.
32 Out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, Hammothdor with its pasture lands, and Kartan with its pasture lands: three cities.And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Hammoth-dor with its suburbs, and Kartan with its suburbs; three cities.또 납달리 지파에서 살인자의 도피성인 갈릴리의 게데스와 그 목초지, 함못 돌과 그 목초지, 가르단과 그 목초지 세 성읍을 주었다.

36 Out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with its pasture lands, Jahaz with its pasture lands,And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with its suburbs, and Jahaz with its suburbs,또 르우벤 지파에서 베셀과 그 목초지, 야하스와 그 목초지,
37 Kedemoth with its pasture lands, and Mephaath with its pasture lands: four cities.Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs; four cities.그데못과 그 목초지, 메바앗과 그 목초지 네 성읍을 주었다.
38 Out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Mahanaim with its pasture lands,And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs, the city of refuge for the manslayer, and Mahanaim with its suburbs,또 갓 지파에서 살인자의 도피성인 길르앗의 라못과 그 목초지, 마하나임과 그 목초지,
39 Heshbon with its pasture lands, Jazer with its pasture lands: four cities in all.Heshbon with its suburbs, Jazer with its suburbs; four cities in all.헤스본과 그 목초지, 야셀과 그 목초지를 주었으니 모두 네 성읍이었다.
40 All these were the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites. Their lot was twelve cities.All these were the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites; and their lot was twelve cities.남은 레위 사람의 가문들인 므라리 자손이 그 가문대로 얻은 모든 성읍은 이러하니, 그들의 제비로 얻은 것은 열두 성읍이었다.
41 All the cities of the Levites among the possessions of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities with their pasture lands.All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.이스라엘 자손의 기업 가운데 있는 레위 사람의 모든 성읍은 그 목초지와 함께 마흔여덟 성읍이었다.
42 Each of these cities included their pasture lands around them. It was this way with all these cities.These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus it was with all these cities.이 성읍들은 저마다 그 주위에 목초지를 두고 있었으니, 이 모든 성읍이 다 그러하였다.
43 So Yahweh gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.So Jehovah gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.이렇게 여호와께서는 이스라엘의 조상들에게 주겠다고 맹세하신 온 땅을 이스라엘에게 주셨고, 그들은 그 땅을 차지하여 거기에 살았다.
44 Yahweh gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. Yahweh delivered all their enemies into their hand.And Jehovah gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; Jehovah delivered all their enemies into their hand.여호와께서 그들의 조상들에게 맹세하신 그대로 그들에게 사방으로 안식을 주셨으므로, 그들의 모든 원수 가운데 한 사람도 그들 앞에 맞서 서지 못하였으니, 여호와께서 그들의 모든 원수를 그들의 손에 넘겨주셨다.
45 Nothing failed of any good thing which Yahweh had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.There failed not aught of any good thing which Jehovah had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.여호와께서 이스라엘 집에 말씀하신 모든 선한 것 가운데 하나도 어긋남이 없이 다 이루어졌다.
