1 The whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled themselves together at Shiloh, and set up the Tent of Meeting there. 2 Seven tribes remained among the children of Israel, which had not yet divided their inheritance.And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet divided their inheritance.이스라엘 자손 가운데 아직 자기 기업을 나누어 받지 못한 일곱 지파가 남아 있었다.
3 Joshua said to the children of Israel, “ How long will you neglect to go in to possess the land, which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you?And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go in to possess the land, which Jehovah, the God of your fathers, hath given you?여호수아가 이스라엘 자손에게 말했다. "여러분의 조상의 하나님 여호와께서 여러분에게 주신 땅을 들어가 차지하는 일을 언제까지 미루겠습니까?
4 Appoint for yourselves three men from each tribe. I will send them, and they shall arise, walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance; then they shall come to me.Appoint for you three men of each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall arise, and walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance; and they shall come unto me.각 지파에서 세 사람씩 뽑으십시오. 내가 그들을 보내겠습니다. 그들은 일어나 그 땅을 두루 다니며 각 지파의 기업에 따라 그 땅을 기록하여 내게로 돌아올 것입니다.
5 They shall divide it into seven portions. Judah shall live in his borders on the south, and the house of Joseph shall live in their borders on the north.And they shall divide it into seven portions: Judah shall abide in his border on the south, and the house of Joseph shall abide in their border on the north.그들이 그 땅을 일곱 몫으로 나눌 것입니다. 유다는 남쪽 자기 경계 안에 머물고, 요셉의 집은 북쪽 자기 경계 안에 머물 것입니다.
6 You shall survey the land into seven parts, and bring the description here to me; and I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh our God.And ye shall describe the land into seven portions, and bring the description hither to me; and I will cast lots for you here before Jehovah our God.여러분은 그 땅을 일곱 부분으로 측량하여 그 기록을 이리로 내게 가져오십시오. 그러면 내가 여기 우리 하나님 여호와 앞에서 여러분을 위해 제비를 뽑겠습니다.
7 However, the Levites have no portion among you; for the priesthood of Yahweh is their inheritance. Gad, Reuben, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance east of the Jordan, which Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them.”For the Levites have no portion among you; for the priesthood of Jehovah is their inheritance: and Gad and Reuben and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward, which Moses the servant of Jehovah gave them.레위 사람은 여러분 가운데 분깃이 없습니다. 여호와의 제사장 직분이 그들의 기업이기 때문입니다. 또 갓과 르우벤과 므낫세 반 지파는 요단 동쪽 편에서 이미 자기 기업을 받았으니, 여호와의 종 모세가 그들에게 준 것입니다."
8 The men arose and went. Joshua commanded those who went to survey the land, saying, “ Go walk through the land, survey it, and come again to me. I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh in Shiloh.”And the men arose, and went: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me; and I will cast lots for you here before Jehovah in Shiloh.그 사람들이 일어나 떠났다. 여호수아는 그 땅을 측량하러 가는 사람들에게 명령하여 말했다. 10 Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Yahweh. There Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel according to their divisions.And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Jehovah: and there Joshua divided the land unto the children of Israel according to their divisions.여호수아가 실로에서 여호와 앞에서 그들을 위해 제비를 뽑았다. 거기서 여호수아가 이스라엘 자손에게 그들의 구분에 따라 그 땅을 나누어 주었다.
11 The lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families. The border of their lot went out between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families: and the border of their lot went out between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.베냐민 자손 지파의 제비가 그들의 가문대로 뽑혀 나왔다. 그들의 제비로 받은 경계는 유다 자손과 요셉 자손 사이로 나아갔다.
12 Their border on the north quarter was from the Jordan. The border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the hill country westward. It ended at the wilderness of Beth Aven.And their border on the north quarter was from the Jordan; and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the hill-country westward; and the goings out thereof were at the wilderness of Beth-aven.그들의 북쪽 경계는 요단에서 시작되었다. 그 경계는 여리고 북쪽 비탈로 올라가, 서쪽 산지를 따라 올라가다가 벧아웬 광야에서 끝났다.
13 The border passed along from there to Luz, to the side of Luz ( also called Bethel ), southward. The border went down to Ataroth Addar, by the mountain that lies on the south of Beth Horon the lower.And the border passed along from thence to Luz, to the side of Luz ( the same is Beth-el ), southward; and the border went down to Ataroth-addar, by the mountain that lieth on the south of Beth-horon the nether.그 경계는 거기서 루스로, 곧 루스(이는 벧엘이다) 남쪽 비탈로 지나갔다. 그리고 아래쪽 벧호론 남쪽에 있는 산 옆을 따라 아다롯앗달로 내려갔다.
14 The border extended, and turned around on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lies before Beth Horon southward; and ended at Kiriath Baal ( also called Kiriath Jearim), a city of the children of Judah. This was the west quarter.And the border extended thence, and turned about on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lieth before Beth-horon southward; and the goings out thereof were at Kiriath-baal ( the same is Kiriath-jearim ), a city of the children of Judah: this was the west quarter.그 경계는 거기서 더 뻗어 나가, 서쪽 편에서 남쪽으로 돌아 벧호론 앞 남쪽에 있는 산에서부터 이어졌다. 그리고 유다 자손의 성읍인 기럇바알(이는 기럇여아림이다)에서 끝났다. 이것이 서쪽 편이다.
15 The south quarter was from the farthest part of Kiriath Jearim. The border went out westward, and went out to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah.And the south quarter was from the uttermost part of Kiriath-jearim; and the border went out westward, and went out to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah;남쪽 편은 기럇여아림 맨 끝에서 시작되었다. 그 경계는 서쪽으로 나아가 넵도아 물 샘으로 나아갔다.
16 The border went down to the farthest part of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of Rephaim northward. It went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En Rogel.and the border went down to the uttermost part of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the vale of Rephaim northward; and it went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En-rogel;그 경계는 힌놈의 아들 골짜기 앞에 있는 산 맨 끝으로 내려갔는데, 그곳은 르바임 골짜기 북쪽에 있다. 그리고 힌놈 골짜기로, 곧 여부스 사람의 남쪽 비탈로 내려갔다가 엔로겔로 내려갔다.
17 It extended northward, went out at En Shemesh, and went out to Geliloth, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim. 18 It passed along to the side opposite the Arabah northward, and went down to the Arabah.and it passed along to the side over against the Arabah northward, and went down unto the Arabah;그 경계는 아라바 맞은편 북쪽 비탈을 따라 지나가, 아라바로 내려갔다.
19 The border passed along to the side of Beth Hoglah northward; and the border ended at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Jordan. This was the south border.and the border passed along to the side of Beth-hoglah northward; and the goings out of the border were at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Jordan: this was the south border.그 경계는 벧호글라 북쪽 비탈을 따라 지나가, 요단 남쪽 끝 곧 염해의 북쪽 만에서 끝났다. 이것이 남쪽 경계다.
20 The Jordan was its border on the east quarter. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders around it, according to their families.And the Jordan was the border of it on the east quarter. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders thereof round about, according to their families.요단은 그 동쪽 편의 경계였다. 이것이 그들의 가문대로 베냐민 자손이 사방의 경계를 따라 받은 기업이다.
