1 The lot for the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families was to the border of Edom, even to the wilderness of Zin southward, at the uttermost part of the south.And the lot for the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families was unto the border of Edom, even to the wilderness of Zin southward, at the uttermost part of the south.유다 자손 지파가 그 가문대로 제비를 뽑아 얻은 땅은 에돔 경계에 이르렀고, 남쪽으로는 신 광야 곧 남방 맨 끝까지 미쳤다.
2 Their south border was from the uttermost part of the Salt Sea, from the bay that looks southward;And their south border was from the uttermost part of the Salt Sea, from the bay that looketh southward;그들의 남쪽 경계는 소금 바다의 맨 끝, 곧 남쪽을 향한 만에서 시작되었다.
3 and it went out southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and went up by the south of Kadesh Barnea, and passed along by Hezron, went up to Addar, and turned toward Karka;and it went out southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and went up by the south of Kadesh-barnea, and passed along by Hezron, and went up to Addar, and turned about to Karka;그 경계는 아그랍빔 비탈 남쪽으로 나아가 신을 지나, 가데스 바네아 남쪽으로 올라가 헤스론을 지나고, 앗달로 올라갔다가 돌아서 가르가에 이르렀다.
4 and it passed along to Azmon, went out at the brook of Egypt; and the border ended at the sea. This shall be your south border.and it passed along to Azmon, and went out at the brook of Egypt; and the goings out of the border were at the sea: this shall be your south border.다시 아스몬을 지나 이집트 시내로 나아갔으며, 그 경계는 바다에서 끝났다. 이것이 너희의 남쪽 경계가 될 것이다.
5 The east border was the Salt Sea, even to the end of the Jordan. The border of the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the end of the Jordan.And the east border was the Salt Sea, even unto the end of the Jordan. And the border of the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the end of the Jordan;동쪽 경계는 소금 바다였으니 요단강 끝에 이르렀다. 북쪽 경계는 요단강 끝에 있는 바다의 만에서 시작되었다.
6 The border went up to Beth Hoglah, and passed along by the north of Beth Arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.and the border went up to Beth-hoglah, and passed along by the north of Beth-arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben;그 경계는 벧 호글라로 올라가 벧 아라바 북쪽을 지났고, 르우벤의 아들 보한의 돌이 있는 곳까지 올라갔다.
7 The border went up to Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that faces the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the river. The border passed along to the waters of En Shemesh, and ended at En Rogel.and the border went up to Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is over against the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the river; and the border passed along to the waters of En-shemesh, and the goings out thereof were at En-rogel;또 그 경계는 아골 골짜기에서 드빌로 올라갔고, 그렇게 북쪽으로 향하여 길갈을 마주 보았으니, 그곳은 강 남쪽에 있는 아둠밈 비탈 맞은편이었다. 그 경계는 엔 세메스 물가를 지나 엔 로겔에서 끝났다.
8 The border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom to the side of the Jebusite ( also called Jerusalem ) southward; and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lies before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the farthest part of the valley of Rephaim northward.and the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the side of the Jebusite southward ( the same is Jerusalem ); and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the uttermost part of the vale of Rephaim northward;그 경계는 힌놈의 아들 골짜기를 따라 여부스 사람의 땅 남쪽 곧 예루살렘에 이르렀고, 다시 힌놈 골짜기 앞 서쪽에 있는 산꼭대기로 올라갔으니, 그곳은 르바임 골짜기 북쪽 맨 끝에 있었다.
9 The border extended from the top of the mountain to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of Mount Ephron; and the border extended to Baalah ( also called Kiriath Jearim);and the border extended from the top of the mountain unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border extended to Baalah ( the same is Kiriath-jearim );그 경계는 그 산꼭대기에서부터 넵도아 샘물까지 뻗었고, 에브론산의 성읍들로 나아갔으며, 다시 바알라 곧 기럇 여아림까지 뻗었다.
10 and the border turned about from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, and passed along to the side of Mount Jearim ( also called Chesalon ) on the north, and went down to Beth Shemesh, and passed along by Timnah;and the border turned about from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim on the north ( the same is Chesalon ), and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed along by Timnah;또 그 경계는 바알라에서 서쪽으로 돌아 세일산에 이르렀고, 여아림산 곧 그살론 북쪽을 지나 벧 세메스로 내려가 딤나를 지났다.
11 and the border went out to the side of Ekron northward; and the border extended to Shikkeron, and passed along to Mount Baalah, and went out at Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.and the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward; and the border extended to Shikkeron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out at Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.그 경계는 에그론 북쪽으로 나아갔고, 식그론까지 뻗었으며, 바알라산을 지나 얍느엘로 나아가 바다에서 끝났다.
12 The west border was to the shore of the great sea. This is the border of the children of Judah according to their families.And the west border was to the great sea, and the border thereof. This is the border of the children of Judah round about according to their families.서쪽 경계는 큰 바다 곧 그 해안이었다. 이것이 유다 자손이 그 가문대로 얻은 사방 경계였다.
13 He gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh a portion among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of Yahweh to Joshua, even Kiriath Arba, named after the father of Anak ( also called Hebron ).And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a portion among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of Jehovah to Joshua, even Kiriath-arba, which Arba was the father of Anak ( the same is Hebron ).여호와께서 여호수아에게 명하신 대로, 그는 여분네의 아들 갈렙에게 유다 자손 가운데서 한 몫을 주었으니, 곧 아낙의 조상의 이름을 딴 기럇 아르바 곧 헤브론이었다.
14 Caleb drove out the three sons of Anak: Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.And Caleb drove out thence the three sons of Anak: Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.갈렙은 그곳에서 아낙의 세 아들 세새와 아히만과 달매를 쫓아냈으니, 그들은 아낙의 자손이었다.
15 He went up against the inhabitants of Debir: now the name of Debir before was Kiriath Sepher.And he went up thence against the inhabitants of Debir: now the name of Debir beforetime was Kiriath-sepher.갈렙은 거기서 드빌 주민을 치러 올라갔는데, 드빌의 본래 이름은 기럇 세벨이었다.
16 Caleb said, “ He who strikes Kiriath Sepher, and takes it, to him I will give Achsah my daughter as wife.”And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kiriath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.갈렙이 말하기를 "기럇 세벨을 쳐서 점령하는 사람에게는 내 딸 악사를 아내로 주겠다." 하였다.
17 Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife.And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.갈렙의 형제 그나스의 아들 옷니엘이 그곳을 점령하니, 갈렙이 자기 딸 악사를 그에게 아내로 주었다.
18 When she came, she had him ask her father for a field. She got off her donkey, and Caleb said, “ What do you want?”And it came to pass, when she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she alighted from off her ass; and Caleb said, What wouldest thou?악사가 시집갈 때에 남편에게 권하여 자기 아버지에게 밭을 구하게 하였다. 그녀가 나귀에서 내리니 갈렙이 "네가 원하는 것이 무엇이냐?" 하고 물었다.
19 She said, “ Give me a blessing. Because you have set me in the land of the South, give me also springs of water.” So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.And she said, Give me a blessing; for that thou hast set me in the land of the South, give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs and the nether springs.그녀가 대답하기를 "복을 내려 주십시오. 아버지께서 저를 남방 땅에 두셨으니 물 샘도 주십시오." 하니, 갈렙이 윗샘과 아랫샘을 그녀에게 주었다.

21 The farthest cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the border of Edom in the South were Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the border of Edom in the South were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,유다 자손 지파의 성읍들 가운데 에돔 경계를 향한 남방의 맨 끝에 있는 성읍들은 갑스엘과 에델과 야굴과

63 As for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah couldn’t drive them out; but the Jebusites live with the children of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.And as for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.유다 자손이 예루살렘에 사는 여부스 사람을 쫓아내지 못하였으므로, 여부스 사람이 오늘까지 유다 자손과 함께 예루살렘에 살고 있다.
