1 The lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.And the lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill-country to Beth-el;요셉 자손이 제비를 뽑아 받은 땅의 경계는 여리고 곁의 요단강에서 시작하여, 동쪽 여리고의 물가에서부터 광야를 지나 여리고에서 산지를 따라 올라가 벧엘에 이르렀다.
2 It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth;and it went out from Beth-el to Luz, and passed along unto the border of the Archites to Ataroth;그 경계는 벧엘에서 루스로 나아갔고, 아렉 사람의 경계를 따라 아다롯에 이르렀다.
3 and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth Horon the lower, and on to Gezer; and ended at the sea.and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, unto the border of Beth-horon the nether, even unto Gezer; and the goings out thereof were at the sea.거기서 서쪽으로 내려가 야블렛 사람의 경계와 아래쪽 벧호론의 경계를 지나 게셀에 이르렀고, 그 끝은 바다였다.
4 The children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.And the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.이렇게 요셉의 자손인 므낫세와 에브라임이 자기들의 유산을 받았다.
5 This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Beth Horon the upper.And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: the border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth-addar, unto Beth-horon the upper;에브라임 자손이 그들의 가문대로 받은 경계는 이러하니, 그들의 유산의 동쪽 경계는 아다롯앗달에서부터 위쪽 벧호론에 이르렀다.
6 The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.and the border went out westward at Michmethath on the north; and the border turned about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah;그 경계는 북쪽으로 믹므다에서 서쪽으로 나아갔고, 다시 동쪽으로 돌아 다아낫실로에 이르렀으며, 그 곁을 지나 야노아 동쪽으로 이어졌다.
7 It went down from Janoah to Ataroth, to Naarah, reached to Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.and it went down from Janoah to Ataroth, and to Naarah, and reached unto Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.거기서 야노아에서 아다롯과 나아라로 내려갔고, 여리고에 닿아 요단강에서 끝났다.
8 From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and ended at the sea. 9 together with the cities which were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the middle of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.together with the cities which were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.또한 므낫세 자손의 유산 가운데 에브라임 자손을 위해 따로 떼어 준 성읍들과 거기에 딸린 모든 마을이 있었다.
10 They didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the territory of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.And they drove not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell in the midst of Ephraim unto this day, and are become servants to do taskwork.그러나 그들은 게셀에 사는 가나안 사람을 쫓아내지 못하였고, 그래서 가나안 사람이 오늘날까지 에브라임 가운데 살면서 종이 되어 강제 노역을 하고 있다.
