1 Now Joshua was old and well advanced in years. Yahweh said to him, “ You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years; and Jehovah said unto him, Thou art old and well stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.여호수아가 나이가 많아 늙었더라. 여호와께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. "너는 나이가 많아 늙었는데, 아직도 차지해야 할 땅이 매우 많이 남아 있다.
2 “ This is the land that still remains: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;This is the land that yet remaineth: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;아직 남아 있는 땅은 이러하다. 블레셋 사람의 모든 지역과 그술 사람의 온 땅이다.
3 from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even to the border of Ekron northward, which is counted as Canaanite; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim,from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the border of Ekron northward, which is reckoned to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avvim,이집트 앞에 있는 시홀에서부터 북쪽으로 에그론 경계에 이르기까지의 땅은 가나안 사람의 땅으로 여겨진다. 블레셋의 다섯 통치자가 다스리는 가사 사람, 아스돗 사람, 아스글론 사람, 가드 사람, 에그론 사람의 땅과 또 아위 사람의 땅이다.
4 on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians, to Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongeth to the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;남쪽으로는 가나안 사람의 온 땅과 시돈 사람에게 속한 므아라에서부터 아벡과 아모리 사람의 경계에 이르는 땅이다.
5 and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from Baal Gad under Mount Hermon to the entrance of Hamath;and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-gad under mount Hermon unto the entrance of Hamath;또 그발 사람의 땅과 헤르몬 산 아래 바알갓에서부터 하맛 어귀에 이르는 해 뜨는 쪽 온 레바논 땅이다.
6 all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth Maim, even all the Sidonians. I will drive them out from before the children of Israel. Just allocate it to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded you.all the inhabitants of the hill-country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, even all the Sidonians; them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only allot thou it unto Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.레바논에서부터 미스르봇마임에 이르는 산지의 모든 주민, 곧 모든 시돈 사람을 내가 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아내겠다. 너는 다만 내가 너에게 명령한 대로 그 땅을 이스라엘에게 유산으로 나누어 주어라.
7 Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh.”Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.그러므로 이제 너는 이 땅을 아홉 지파와 므낫세 반 지파에게 유산으로 나누어 주어라."
8 With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them:With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of Jehovah gave them:므낫세 반 지파와 함께 르우벤 사람과 갓 사람은 이미 모세가 요단강 동쪽에서 그들에게 준 유산을 받았으니, 곧 여호와의 종 모세가 그들에게 준 그대로다.
9 from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon;from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;그 땅은 아르논 골짜기 가장자리에 있는 아로엘과 골짜기 가운데 있는 성읍에서부터 디본까지 이르는 메드바의 온 평원이며,
10 and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the children of Ammon;and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;또 헤스본에서 다스리던 아모리 사람의 왕 시혼의 모든 성읍에서 암몬 자손의 경계에 이르기까지이며,
11 and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah;and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salecah;길르앗과 그술 사람과 마아갓 사람의 경계와 온 헤르몬 산과 살르가까지 이르는 온 바산이며,
12 all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei ( who was left of the remnant of the Rephaim ); for Moses attacked these, and drove them out.all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei ( the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim ); for these did Moses smite, and drove them out.아스다롯과 에드레이에서 다스리던 바산의 옥의 온 나라다. 옥은 르바임의 남은 자들 가운데 마지막 사람이었는데, 모세가 그들을 쳐서 쫓아냈다.
13 Nevertheless the children of Israel didn’t drive out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath live within Israel to this day.Nevertheless the children of Israel drove not out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel unto this day.그러나 이스라엘 자손은 그술 사람과 마아갓 사람을 쫓아내지 않았으므로, 그술과 마아갓이 오늘날까지 이스라엘 가운데 살고 있다.
14 Only he gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. The offerings of Yahweh, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spoke to him.Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the offerings of Jehovah, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as he spake unto him.오직 레위 지파에게는 모세가 유산을 주지 않았으니, 이는 여호와께서 그에게 말씀하신 대로 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께 불로 드리는 제물이 그들의 유산이기 때문이다.
15 Moses gave to the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.모세가 르우벤 자손 지파에게 그 가족대로 유산을 주었다.

17 Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meon,Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon,헤스본과 평원에 있는 그 모든 성읍, 곧 디본과 바못바알과 벧바알므온과,
18 Jahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath,and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,야하스와 그데못과 메바앗과,
19 Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth Shahar in the mount of the valley,and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar in the mount of the valley,기랴다임과 십마와 골짜기 산에 있는 세렛사할과,
20 Beth Peor, the slopes of Pisgah, Beth Jeshimoth,and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth,벧브올과 비스가 비탈과 벧여시못과,
21 all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses struck with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, who lived in the land.and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, that dwelt in the land.평원의 모든 성읍과 헤스본에서 다스리던 아모리 사람의 왕 시혼의 온 나라다. 모세가 그 시혼을 쳤는데, 그 땅에 살던 시혼의 지도자들, 곧 미디안의 우두머리들인 에위와 레겜과 술과 훌과 레바도 함께 쳤다.
22 The children of Israel also killed Balaam the son of Beor, the soothsayer, with the sword, among the rest of their slain.Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among the rest of their slain.또 이스라엘 자손이 죽인 자들 가운데에서 점치는 자 브올의 아들 발람도 칼로 죽였다.
23 The border of the children of Reuben was the bank of the Jordan. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and its villages.And the border of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.르우벤 자손의 경계는 요단강 기슭이었다. 이것이 르우벤 자손이 그 가족대로 받은 유산이니, 곧 그 성읍들과 마을들이다.
24 Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, to the children of Gad, according to their families.And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad, according to their families.모세가 갓 지파, 곧 갓 자손에게 그 가족대로 유산을 주었다.
25 Their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, to Aroer that is near Rabbah;And their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;그들의 경계는 야셀과 길르앗의 모든 성읍과 암몬 자손 땅의 절반, 곧 랍바 앞에 있는 아로엘까지이며,
26 and from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir;and from Heshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;헤스본에서 라맛미스베와 브도님까지이며, 마하나임에서 드빌의 경계까지이며,
27 and in the valley, Beth Haram, Beth Nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan’s bank, to the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.and in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan and the border thereof, unto the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.골짜기에는 벧하람과 벧니므라와 숙곳과 사본, 곧 헤스본 왕 시혼의 나라의 남은 땅이며, 요단강 기슭을 따라 요단강 동쪽 긴네렛 바다 맨 끝까지 이르렀다.
28 This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and its villages.This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.이것이 갓 자손이 그 가족대로 받은 유산이니, 곧 그 성읍들과 마을들이다.
29 Moses gave an inheritance to the half-tribe of Manasseh. It was for the half-tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.And Moses gave inheritance unto the half-tribe of Manasseh: and it was for the half-tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.모세가 므낫세 반 지파에게 유산을 주었으니, 그것은 므낫세 자손 반 지파가 그 가족대로 받은 것이다.
30 Their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities.And their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:그들의 경계는 마하나임에서부터 온 바산, 곧 바산 왕 옥의 온 나라와 바산에 있는 야일의 모든 고을, 곧 육십 성읍이며,
31 Half Gilead, Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.and half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.길르앗의 절반과 아스다롯과 에드레이, 곧 바산에 있는 옥의 나라의 성읍들이다. 이것은 므낫세의 아들 마길 자손, 곧 마길 자손의 절반이 그 가족대로 받은 것이다.
32 These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.이것은 모세가 여리고 맞은편 요단강 동쪽 모압 평지에서 나누어 준 유산들이다.
33 But Moses gave no inheritance to the tribe of Levi. Yahweh, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spoke to them.But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance: Jehovah, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as he spake unto them.그러나 레위 지파에게는 모세가 유산을 주지 않았으니, 이는 그가 그들에게 말씀하신 대로 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 친히 그들의 유산이 되시기 때문이다.
