2 So the city was besieged until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.이렇게 성은 시드기야 왕 열한째 해까지 포위되어 있었다.
3 On the ninth day of the fourth month, the famine was severe in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.넷째 달 구 일에 성안에 기근이 극심하여, 그 땅 백성이 먹을 양식이 하나도 없게 되었다.

5 But the Chaldean army pursued the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.그러나 바벨론 군대가 왕을 뒤쫓아 여리고 평야에서 그를 따라잡았고, 그의 모든 군대는 그에게서 흩어져 달아났다.
6 Then they captured the king and carried him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they passed judgment on him.Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him.그들은 왕을 사로잡아 리블라에 있는 바벨론 왕에게로 끌고 올라가서, 그에게 죄를 선고하였다.
7 They killed Zedekiah’s sons before his eyes, then put out Zedekiah’s eyes, bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon.And they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon.그들은 시드기야가 보는 앞에서 그의 아들들을 죽이고, 시드기야의 두 눈을 빼낸 뒤, 쇠사슬로 묶어 바벨론으로 끌고 갔다.
8 Now in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.Now in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem.다섯째 달 칠 일, 곧 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 열아홉째 해에, 바벨론 왕의 신하인 경호대장 느부사라단이 예루살렘에 이르렀다.
9 He burned Yahweh’s house, the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem. He burned every great house with fire.And he burnt the house of Jehovah, and the king’s house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burnt he with fire.그는 여호와의 성전과 왕궁을 불태웠고, 예루살렘의 모든 집과 큰 집까지 모조리 불살랐다.
10 All the army of the Chaldeans, who were with the captain of the guard, broke down the walls around Jerusalem.And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down the walls of Jerusalem round about.경호대장과 함께한 바벨론의 모든 군대가 예루살렘을 둘러싼 성벽을 헐어 버렸다.
11 Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive the rest of the people who were left in the city and those who had deserted to the king of Babylon— all the rest of the multitude.And the residue of the people that were left in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the residue of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away captive.경호대장 느부사라단은 성안에 남아 있던 백성과 바벨론 왕에게 항복하여 넘어간 자들과 남은 무리를 포로로 끌고 갔다.
12 But the captain of the guard left some of the poorest of the land to work the vineyards and fields.But the captain of the guard left of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen.그러나 경호대장은 그 땅의 가장 가난한 사람들 얼마를 남겨 두어 포도원을 가꾸고 밭을 일구게 하였다.
13 The Chaldeans broke up the pillars of bronze that were in Yahweh’s house and the bases and the bronze sea that were in Yahweh’s house, and carried the bronze pieces to Babylon.And the pillars of brass that were in the house of Jehovah, and the bases and the brazen sea that were in the house of Jehovah, did the Chaldeans break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.바벨론 사람들은 여호와의 성전에 있던 놋기둥들과 받침대들과 놋바다를 깨뜨려, 그 놋을 바벨론으로 가져갔다.
14 They took away the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the spoons, and all the vessels of bronze with which they ministered.And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.또 그들은 솥과 부삽과 불집게와 숟가락과 섬길 때에 쓰던 모든 놋그릇을 가져갔다.
15 The captain of the guard took away the fire pans, the basins, that which was of gold, for gold, and that which was of silver, for silver.And the firepans, and the basins, that which was of gold, in gold, and that which was of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took away.경호대장은 불 옮기는 그릇과 대접 등 금으로 된 것은 금으로, 은으로 된 것은 은으로 가져갔다.
16 The two pillars, the one sea, and the bases, which Solomon had made for Yahweh’s house, the bronze of all these vessels was not weighed.The two pillars, the one sea, and the bases, which Solomon had made for the house of Jehovah, the brass of all these vessels was without weight.솔로몬이 여호와의 성전을 위하여 만든 두 기둥과 한 바다와 받침대들, 이 모든 기물의 놋은 그 무게를 헤아릴 수 없을 만큼 많았다.
17 The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and a capital of bronze was on it. The height of the capital was three cubits, with network and pomegranates on the capital around it, all of bronze; and the second pillar with its network was like these.The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and a capital of brass was upon it; and the height of the capital was three cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the capital round about, all of brass: and like unto these had the second pillar with network.한 기둥의 높이는 열여덟 규빗이었고, 그 위에 놋으로 된 기둥머리가 있었는데 그 높이가 세 규빗이었으며, 기둥머리 둘레에는 그물 모양 장식과 석류 모양 장식이 모두 놋으로 둘러 있었다. 다른 기둥도 그물 장식과 함께 이와 같았다.

19 and out of the city he took an officer who was set over the men of war; and five men of those who saw the king’s face, who were found in the city; and the scribe, the captain of the army, who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the city.and out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war; and five men of them that saw the king’s face, who were found in the city; and the scribe, the captain of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the city.또 성안에서 군사들을 지휘하던 관리 한 사람과, 성안에서 발견된 왕의 측근 다섯 사람과, 그 땅 백성을 징집하던 군대 장관의 서기관과, 성안에서 발견된 그 땅 백성 예순 명을 사로잡았다.

21 The king of Babylon attacked them and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land.바벨론 왕은 하맛 땅 리블라에서 그들을 쳐 죽였다. 이렇게 유다는 제 땅에서 포로로 끌려갔다.
22 As for the people who were left in the land of Judah whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, governor.And as for the people that were left in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, governor.바벨론 왕 느부갓네살은 유다 땅에 남겨 둔 백성 위에 사반의 손자요 아히감의 아들인 그달리야를 총독으로 세웠다.
23 Now when all the captains of the forces, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, Johanan the son of Kareah, Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of the Maacathite, they and their men.Now when all the captains of the forces, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of the Maacathite, they and their men.군대 지휘관들과 그 부하들이 바벨론 왕이 그달리야를 총독으로 세웠다는 소식을 듣고, 미스바로 그달리야에게 나아왔다. 곧 느다니야의 아들 이스마엘과 가레아의 아들 요하난과 느도바 사람 단후멧의 아들 스라야와 마아가 사람의 아들 야아사니야가 그들의 부하들과 함께 왔다.
24 Gedaliah swore to them and to their men, and said to them, “Don’t be afraid because of the servants of the Chaldeans. Dwell in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it will be well with you.”And Gedaliah sware to them and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not because of the servants of the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.그달리야가 그들과 그 부하들에게 맹세하며 말하였다. “바벨론 신하들을 두려워하지 마시오. 이 땅에 살면서 바벨론 왕을 섬기시오. 그리하면 당신들이 평안할 것이오.”
25 But in the seventh month, Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the royal offspring came, and ten men with him, and struck Gedaliah so that he died, with the Jews and the Chaldeans that were with him at Mizpah.But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, so that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldeans that were with him at Mizpah.그러나 일곱째 달에 이르러, 왕족 혈통인 엘리사마의 손자요 느다니야의 아들인 이스마엘이 열 사람과 함께 와서 그달리야를 쳐 죽였고, 미스바에서 그와 함께 있던 유다 사람들과 바벨론 사람들도 죽였다.
26 All the people, both small and great, and the captains of the forces arose and came to Egypt; for they were afraid of the Chaldeans.And all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the forces, arose, and came to Egypt; for they were afraid of the Chaldeans.그러자 작은 자나 큰 자나 모든 백성과 군대 지휘관들이 일어나 이집트로 갔으니, 이는 그들이 바벨론 사람들을 두려워하였기 때문이다.
27 In the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, Evilmerodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, released Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison,And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;유다 왕 여호야긴이 사로잡혀 간 지 서른일곱째 해 열두째 달 이십칠 일에, 바벨론 왕 에윌므로닥이 왕위에 오른 그해에, 유다 왕 여호야긴을 옥에서 풀어 그 머리를 들게 하였다.
28 and he spoke kindly to him and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon,and he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon,그는 여호야긴에게 친절히 말하고, 바벨론에서 자기와 함께 있던 왕들의 자리보다 높은 자리를 그에게 주었다.
29 and changed his prison garments. Jehoiachin ate bread before him continually all the days of his life;and changed his prison garments. And Jehoiachin did eat bread before him continually all the days of his life:또 여호야긴의 옥에 갇혀 입던 옷을 갈아입게 하니, 여호야긴은 평생 동안 늘 왕 앞에서 음식을 먹었다.
30 and for his allowance, there was a continual allowance given him from the king, every day a portion, all the days of his life.and for his allowance, there was a continual allowance given him of the king, every day a portion, all the days of his life.그가 받을 양식은 날마다 정해진 몫을 평생토록 왕에게서 계속 받았다.
