2 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. He didn’t do that which was right in Yahweh his God’s eyes, like David his father.Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: and he did not that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah his God, like David his father.아하스가 왕이 되었을 때 나이가 스무 살이었으며, 예루살렘에서 십육 년 동안 다스렸다. 그는 자기 조상 다윗과 달리 여호와 그의 하나님 보시기에 옳은 일을 행하지 않았다.

5 Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to wage war. 7 So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath Pileser king of Assyria, saying, “ I am your servant and your son. Come up and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who rise up against me.”So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who rise up against me.그래서 아하스는 앗시리아 왕 디글랏빌레셀에게 사신을 보내어 말하였다. "나는 당신의 종이요 당신의 아들입니다. 올라오셔서 나를 치려고 일어난 시리아 왕의 손과 이스라엘 왕의 손에서 나를 구원해 주십시오."
8 Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in Yahweh’s house, and in the treasures of the king’s house, and sent it for a present to the king of Assyria.And Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of Jehovah, and in the treasures of the king’s house, and sent it for a present to the king of Assyria.그리고 아하스는 여호와의 성전과 왕궁 창고에 있는 은과 금을 가져다가 앗시리아 왕에게 예물로 보냈다.
9 The king of Assyria listened to him; and the king of Assyria went up against Damascus and took it, and carried its people captive to Kir, and killed Rezin.And the king of Assyria hearkened unto him; and the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried the people of it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin.앗시리아 왕이 그의 말을 듣고 다마스쿠스로 올라가 그곳을 빼앗고 그 백성을 키르로 사로잡아 갔으며 르신을 죽였다.
10 King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath Pileser king of Assyria, and saw the altar that was at Damascus; and King Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest a drawing of the altar and plans to build it.And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and saw the altar that was at Damascus; and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the fashion of the altar, and the pattern of it, according to all the workmanship thereof.아하스 왕이 앗시리아 왕 디글랏빌레셀을 만나러 다마스쿠스로 갔다가 거기에 있는 제단을 보았다. 그래서 아하스 왕은 그 제단의 모양과 양식을 그 모든 제작 방식대로 제사장 우리야에게 보냈다.
11 Urijah the priest built an altar. According to all that King Ahaz had sent from Damascus, so Urijah the priest made it for the coming of King Ahaz from Damascus.And Urijah the priest built an altar: according to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus, so did Urijah the priest make it against the coming of king Ahaz from Damascus.제사장 우리야는 아하스 왕이 다마스쿠스에서 보낸 그 모든 것을 따라 제단을 만들었으니, 아하스 왕이 다마스쿠스에서 돌아오기 전에 제사장 우리야가 그렇게 만들어 두었다.
12 When the king had come from Damascus, the king saw the altar; and the king came near to the altar, and offered on it.And when the king was come from Damascus, the king saw the altar: and the king drew near unto the altar, and offered thereon.왕이 다마스쿠스에서 돌아와 그 제단을 보고 가까이 나아가 그 위에 제물을 드렸다.
13 He burned his burnt offering and his meal offering, poured his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings on the altar.And he burnt his burnt-offering and his meal-offering, and poured his drink-offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace-offerings, upon the altar.그는 자기의 번제물과 곡식 제물을 사르고 전제물을 부으며 화목제물의 피를 그 제단 위에 뿌렸다.
14 The bronze altar, which was before Yahweh, he brought from the front of the house, from between his altar and Yahweh’s house, and put it on the north side of his altar.And the brazen altar, which was before Jehovah, he brought from the forefront of the house, from between his altar and the house of Jehovah, and put it on the north side of his altar.그리고 여호와 앞에 있던 놋 제단을 성전 앞쪽, 곧 자기의 새 제단과 여호와의 성전 사이에서 옮겨다가 자기 제단의 북쪽에 두었다.
15 King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, “ On the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, the evening meal offering, the king’s burnt offering and his meal offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their meal offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice; but the bronze altar will be for me to inquire by.”And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt-offering, and the evening meal-offering, and the king’s burnt-offering, and his meal-offering, with the burnt-offering of all the people of the land, and their meal-offering, and their drink-offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt-offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: but the brazen altar shall be for me to inquire by.아하스 왕이 제사장 우리야에게 명령하여 말하였다. "이 큰 제단 위에 아침 번제물과 저녁 곡식 제물과 왕의 번제물과 그 곡식 제물을, 또 이 땅 모든 백성의 번제물과 그 곡식 제물과 전제물과 함께 사르고, 번제물의 모든 피와 희생 제물의 모든 피를 그 위에 뿌리시오. 그러나 저 놋 제단은 내가 여쭐 때 쓰도록 남겨 두겠소."
16 Urijah the priest did so, according to all that King Ahaz commanded.Thus did Urijah the priest, according to all that king Ahaz commanded.제사장 우리야는 아하스 왕이 명령한 그대로 다 행하였다.
17 King Ahaz cut off the panels of the bases, and removed the basin from off them, and took down the sea from off the bronze oxen that were under it, and put it on a pavement of stone.And king Ahaz cut off the panels of the bases, and removed the laver from off them, and took down the sea from off the brazen oxen that were under it, and put it upon a pavement of stone.아하스 왕이 받침대의 옆판을 떼어 내고 그 위에서 대야를 들어냈으며, 그 아래에 있던 놋 소들에게서 바다 모양 큰 물통을 내려 돌로 된 바닥 위에 두었다.
18 He removed the covered way for the Sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king’s outer entrance to Yahweh’s house, because of the king of Assyria.And the covered way for the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king’s entry without, turned he unto the house of Jehovah, because of the king of Assyria.또 성전 안에 지어 놓았던 안식일용 지붕 통로와 왕이 드나들던 바깥 출입구를 앗시리아 왕을 두려워하여 여호와의 성전 쪽으로 옮겼다.

20 Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in David’s city; and Hezekiah his son reigned in his place.And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Hezekiah his son reigned in his stead.아하스가 자기 조상들과 함께 잠들어 다윗 성에 그 조상들과 함께 묻혔고, 그의 아들 히스기야가 그를 이어 왕이 되었다.
