Revelation 18장

After these things, I saw another angel coming down out of the sky, having great authority. The earth was illuminated with his glory. After these things I saw another angel coming down out of heaven, having great authority; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

He cried with a mighty voice, saying, “ Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and she has become a habitation of demons, a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hated bird! And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and is become a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird.

For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality, the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from the abundance of her luxury.”For by the wine of the wrath of her fornication all the nations are fallen; and the kings of the earth committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth waxed rich by the power of her wantonness.

I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “ Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don’ t receive of her plagues,And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come forth, my people, out of her, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues:나는 또 다른 음성이 하늘에서 들려오는 것을 들었습니다.

for her sins have reached to the sky, and God has remembered her iniquities.for her sins have reached even unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Return to her just as she returned, and repay her double as she did, and according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.Render unto her even as she rendered, and double unto her the double according to her works: in the cup which she mingled, mingle unto her double.

However much she glorified herself and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, ‘ I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.’How much soever she glorified herself, and waxed wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall in no wise see mourning.

Therefore in one day her plagues will come: death, mourning, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire, for the Lord God who has judged her is strong. Therefore in one day shall her plagues come, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judged her.

The kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived wantonly with her will weep and wail over her, when they look at the smoke of her burning,And the kings of the earth, who committed fornication and lived wantonly with her, shall weep and wail over her, when they look upon the smoke of her burning,그 성과 더불어 음행하고 사치를 누린 땅의 왕들이, 그 성이 불타는 연기를 볼 때에 그 성을 위하여 울며 통곡할 것입니다.

standing far away for the fear of her torment, saying, ‘ Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For your judgment has come in one hour.’standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

The merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise any more:And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, for no man buyeth their merchandise any more;땅의 상인들도 그 성을 위하여 울며 슬퍼할 것이니, 아무도 더 이상 그들의 상품을 사지 않기 때문입니다.

merchandise of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple, silk, scarlet, all expensive wood, every vessel of ivory, every vessel made of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble;merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stone, and pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet; and all thyine wood, and every vessel of ivory, and every vessel made of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble;그 상품은 금과 은과 보석과 진주와 고운 베와 자색 옷감과 비단과 붉은 옷감과 온갖 향나무와 온갖 상아 기구와 가장 값진 나무와 놋과 쇠와 대리석으로 만든 온갖 기구와,

and cinnamon, incense, perfume, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots, and people’s bodies and souls.and cinnamon, and spice, and incense, and ointment, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep; and merchandise of horses and chariots and slaves; and souls of men.

The fruits which your soul lusted after have been lost to you. All things that were dainty and sumptuous have perished from you, and you will find them no more at all.And the fruits which thy soul lusted after are gone from thee, and all things that were dainty and sumptuous are perished from thee, and men shall find them no more at all."

The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, will stand far away for the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning;이런 물건을 팔아 그 성으로 부유해진 상인들이, 그 성이 받는 고통이 두려워 멀리 서서 울며 슬퍼할 것입니다.

saying, ‘ Woe, woe, the great city, she who was dressed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls!saying, Woe, woe, the great city, she that was arrayed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stone and pearl!

For in an hour such great riches are made desolate.’ Every ship master, and everyone who sails anywhere, and mariners, and as many as gain their living by sea, stood far away, for in one hour so great riches is made desolate. And every shipmaster, and every one that saileth any whither, and mariners, and as many as gain their living by sea, stood afar off,한 시간 만에 그 큰 부가 황폐해졌구나.'

and cried out as they looked at the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘ What is like the great city?’and cried out as they looked upon the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like the great city?

They cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘ Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had their ships in the sea were made rich by reason of her great wealth!’ For she is made desolate in one hour. And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, saying, Woe, woe, the great city, wherein all that had their ships in the sea were made rich by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

“ Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints, apostles, and prophets, for God has judged your judgment on her.”Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye saints, and ye apostles, and ye prophets; for God hath judged your judgment on her."

A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying, “ Thus with violence will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down, and will be found no more at all.And a strong angel took up a stone as it were a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with a mighty fall shall Babylon, the great city, be cast down, and shall be found no more at all.

The voice of harpists, minstrels, flute players, and trumpeters will be heard no more at all in you. No craftsman of whatever craft will be found any more at all in you. The sound of a mill will be heard no more at all in you.And the voice of harpers and minstrels and flute-players and trumpeters shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft, shall be found any more at all in thee; and the voice of a mill shall be heard no more at all in thee;거문고 타는 자와 노래하는 자와 피리 부는 자와 나팔 부는 자의 소리가 네 안에서 다시는 결코 들리지 않을 것이며, 어떤 기술의 장인도 네 안에서 다시는 결코 보이지 않을 것이며, 맷돌 소리도 네 안에서 다시는 결코 들리지 않을 것이다.

The light of a lamp will shine no more at all in you. The voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will be heard no more at all in you, for your merchants were the princes of the earth; for with your sorcery all the nations were deceived.and the light of a lamp shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the princes of the earth; for with thy sorcery were all the nations deceived.

In her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on the earth.”And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all that have been slain upon the earth.
