2 Then a white horse appeared, and he who sat on it had a bow. 4 Another came out, a red horse. To him who sat on it was given power to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. There was given to him a great sword.And another horse came forth, a red horse: and to him that sat thereon it was given to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.그러자 또 다른 말, 곧 붉은 말이 나왔습니다. 그 위에 탄 이에게는 땅에서 평화를 거두어 사람들이 서로 죽이게 하는 권세가 주어졌습니다. 또 그에게 큰 칼이 주어졌습니다.
5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “ Come and see!” And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a balance in his hand.And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come. 6 I heard a voice in the middle of the four living creatures saying, “ A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenix of barley for a denarius! Don’ t damage the oil and the wine!”And I heard as it were a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A measure of wheat for a shilling, and three measures of barley for a shilling; and the oil and the wine hurt thou not.그리고 네 생물 가운데서 한 음성이 이렇게 말하는 것을 내가 들었습니다. 8 And behold, a pale horse, and the name of he who sat on it was Death. Hades followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him.And I saw, and behold, a pale horse: and he that sat upon him, his name was Death; and Hades followed with him. 10 They cried with a loud voice, saying, “ How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”and they cried with a great voice, saying, How long, O Master, the holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?그들이 큰 소리로 외쳐 말하기를 "거룩하고 참되신 주재여, 땅에 사는 자들을 심판하여 우리가 흘린 피의 원수를 갚아 주시기를 어느 때까지 미루시렵니까?" 하였습니다.
11 A long white robe was given to each of them. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, should complete their course.And there was given them to each one a white robe; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little time, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, who should be killed even as they were, should have fulfilled their course.그들에게 각각 흰 두루마기가 주어졌고, 또 그들에게 이르시기를 그들처럼 죽임을 당할 그들의 동료 종들과 형제들의 수가 다 차기까지 아직 잠시 동안 쉬라고 하셨습니다.
12 I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. 13 The stars of the sky fell to the earth, like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when it is shaken by a great wind.and the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree casteth her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind.또 하늘의 별들이, 큰 바람에 흔들린 무화과나무가 설익은 열매를 떨어뜨리듯이, 땅으로 떨어졌습니다.
14 The sky was removed like a scroll when it is rolled up. Every mountain and island was moved out of its place.And the heaven was removed as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.하늘은 두루마리가 말리듯이 사라졌고, 모든 산과 섬이 제자리에서 옮겨졌습니다.
15 The kings of the earth, the princes, the commanding officers, the rich, the strong, and every slave and free person, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains.And the kings of the earth, and the princes, and the chief captains, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman and freeman, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains;땅의 왕들과 권세 있는 자들과 군대 지휘관들과 부자들과 강한 자들과 모든 종과 자유인이 동굴과 산의 바위틈에 숨었습니다.
16 They told the mountains and the rocks, “ Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:그리고 그들이 산과 바위에게 말하기를 "우리 위에 무너져 내려, 보좌에 앉으신 분의 얼굴과 어린 양의 진노로부터 우리를 숨겨 다오.
17 for the great day of his wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”for the great day of their wrath is come; and who is able to stand?그분의 진노의 큰 날이 이르렀으니, 누가 능히 설 수 있겠느냐?" 하였습니다.
