1 I saw a mighty angel coming down out of the sky, clothed with a cloud. A rainbow was on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.And I saw another strong angel coming down out of heaven, arrayed with a cloud; and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire;나는 힘센 천사 하나가 하늘에서 내려오는 것을 보았습니다. 그는 구름을 옷처럼 두르고 있었고, 머리 위에는 무지개가 있었으며, 그의 얼굴은 해 같고 그의 발은 불기둥 같았습니다.
2 He had in his hand a little open book. He set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land.and he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left upon the earth;그의 손에는 펼쳐진 작은 책 하나가 들려 있었습니다. 그는 오른발은 바다를 밟고 왼발은 땅을 밟았습니다.
3 He cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.and he cried with a great voice, as a lion roareth: and when he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.그가 사자가 울부짖는 것처럼 큰 소리로 외치자, 그가 외칠 때에 일곱 우레가 저마다 소리를 냈습니다.
4 When the seven thunders sounded, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from the sky saying, “ Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and don’ t write them.”And when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.일곱 우레가 말할 때 내가 그것을 막 기록하려 하자, 하늘에서 한 음성이 들려와 말했습니다. "일곱 우레가 말한 것들은 봉인하고 기록하지 마라."
5 The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to the skyAnd the angel that I saw standing upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his right hand to heaven,내가 본 그 천사, 곧 바다와 땅을 밟고 서 있던 천사가 그의 오른손을 하늘로 들고서
6 and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there will no longer be delay,and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created the heaven and the things that are therein, and the earth and the things that are therein, and the sea and the things that are therein, that there shall be delay no longer:영원히 살아 계신 분, 곧 하늘과 그 안에 있는 것들과 땅과 그 안에 있는 것들과 바다와 그 안에 있는 것들을 창조하신 분을 두고 맹세하며 말했습니다. "이제 더 이상 지체함이 없을 것이다.
7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as he declared to his servants the prophets.but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then is finished the mystery of God, according to the good tidings which he declared to his servants the prophets.다만 일곱째 천사가 나팔을 불려고 하는 그 음성의 날들에, 하나님께서 자기 종 선지자들에게 전하신 대로 하나님의 비밀이 이루어질 것이다."
8 The voice which I heard from heaven, again speaking with me, said, “ Go, take the book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.”And the voice which I heard from heaven, I heard it again speaking with me, and saying, Go, take the book which is open in the hand of the angel that standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.하늘에서 내가 들었던 그 음성이 다시 내게 말하며 일렀습니다. "가서 바다와 땅을 밟고 서 있는 천사의 손에 펼쳐져 있는 그 책을 받아라."
9 I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. He said to me, “ Take it and eat it. It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”And I went unto the angel, saying unto him that he should give me the little book. And he saith unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but in thy mouth it shall be sweet as honey.그래서 나는 그 천사에게 가서 그 작은 책을 내게 달라고 말했습니다. 그가 내게 말했습니다. "이것을 받아 먹어 버려라. 이것이 네 배는 쓰게 하겠지만 네 입에서는 꿀처럼 달 것이다."
10 I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and when I had eaten it, my belly was made bitter.나는 그 천사의 손에서 그 작은 책을 받아 먹어 버렸습니다. 그것이 내 입에서는 꿀처럼 달았으나, 다 먹고 나니 내 배는 쓰게 되었습니다.
11 They told me, “ You must prophesy again over many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”And they say unto me, Thou must prophesy again over many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.그들이 내게 말했습니다. "너는 많은 백성과 나라와 언어와 왕들에 대하여 다시 예언해야 한다."
