1 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “ Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,And there came one of the seven angels that had the seven bowls, and spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the judgment of the great harlot that sitteth upon many waters;일곱 대접을 가진 일곱 천사 가운데 하나가 와서 나에게 말하였습니다. "이리 오너라. 많은 물 위에 앉아 있는 큰 음녀가 받을 심판을 너에게 보여 주겠다.

Those who dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her sexual immorality.”with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and they that dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her fornication.땅의 왕들이 그 여자와 음행하였고, 땅에 사는 사람들이 그 음행의 포도주에 취하였다."
3 He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet-colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.천사가 성령으로 나를 광야로 데려갔습니다. 거기서 나는 한 여자가 진홍빛 짐승 위에 앉아 있는 것을 보았습니다. 그 짐승은 온몸이 하나님을 모독하는 이름들로 가득하였고, 일곱 머리와 열 뿔을 가지고 있었습니다.
4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stone and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations, even the unclean things of her fornication,그 여자는 자주색과 진홍색 옷을 입고, 금과 보석과 진주로 단장하였으며, 손에는 가증한 것들과 그 음행의 더러운 것들이 가득 담긴 금잔을 들고 있었습니다.
5 And on her forehead a name was written, “ MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”and upon her forehead a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.그리고 그 이마에는 한 이름이 적혀 있었는데, 비밀, 큰 바벨론, 음녀들과 땅의 가증한 것들의 어미였습니다.
6 I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. 7 The angel said to me, “ Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and the ten horns.그러자 천사가 나에게 말하였습니다. "어찌하여 놀라느냐? 내가 그 여자와, 그 여자를 태우고 있는 일곱 머리와 열 뿔을 가진 짐승의 비밀을 너에게 말해 주겠다.
8 The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present.The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, they whose name hath not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast, how that he was, and is not, and shall come.네가 본 그 짐승은 전에 있었으나 지금은 없으며, 곧 무저갱에서 올라와 멸망으로 들어갈 것이다. 땅에 사는 사람들 곧 창세 이래로 생명책에 그 이름이 기록되지 못한 사람들은, 전에 있었으나 지금은 없다가 다시 나타날 그 짐승을 보고 놀랄 것이다.
9 Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.Here is the mind that hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth:여기에 지혜를 가진 마음이 필요하다. 일곱 머리는 그 여자가 앉아 있는 일곱 산이다.
10 They are seven kings. Five have fallen, the one is, and the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a little while.and they are seven kings; the five are fallen, the one is, the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a little while.또 그것들은 일곱 왕이다. 다섯은 이미 쓰러졌고, 하나는 지금 있으며, 다른 하나는 아직 오지 않았다. 그가 올 때에는 잠시 동안만 머물러야 한다.
11 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goes to destruction.And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goeth into perdition.전에 있었으나 지금은 없는 그 짐승은 자신이 또한 여덟째 왕이면서 일곱 왕에 속하며, 멸망으로 들어간다.
12 The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.And the ten horns that thou sawest are ten kings, who have received no kingdom as yet; but they receive authority as kings, with the beast, for one hour.네가 본 열 뿔은 아직 나라를 받지 못한 열 왕이지만, 그들은 그 짐승과 함께 왕으로서 한동안 권세를 받는다.
13 These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast.These have one mind, and they give their power and authority unto the beast.이들은 한 뜻을 품고 자기의 힘과 권세를 그 짐승에게 넘겨준다.
14 These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they also shall overcome that are with him, called and chosen and faithful.이들은 어린양을 대적하여 싸울 것이지만, 어린양이 그들을 이길 것이다. 어린양은 주들의 주이시며 왕들의 왕이시기 때문이다. 또한 어린양과 함께 있는 사람들 곧 부르심을 받고 택하심을 받은 신실한 사람들도 그들을 이길 것이다."
15 He said to me, “ The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the harlot sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.그리고 천사가 나에게 말하였습니다. "네가 본 물 곧 그 음녀가 앉아 있는 곳은 백성들과 무리들과 나라들과 언어들이다.
16 The ten horns which you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute, will make her desolate, will strip her naked, will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.And the ten horns which thou sawest, and the beast, these shall hate the harlot, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and shall burn her utterly with fire.또 네가 본 열 뿔과 그 짐승은 그 음녀를 미워하여 그를 황폐하게 하고 벌거벗기며, 그 살을 먹고, 불로 완전히 태워 버릴 것이다.
17 For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.For God did put in their hearts to do his mind, and to come to one mind, and to give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.이는 하나님께서 자기의 뜻을 이루게 하시려고 그들의 마음을 움직여, 한 뜻을 품게 하시고, 하나님의 말씀이 다 이루어질 때까지 그들의 나라를 그 짐승에게 넘겨주게 하셨기 때문이다.
18 The woman whom you saw is the great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”And the woman whom thou sawest is the great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.그리고 네가 본 그 여자는 땅의 왕들을 다스리는 큰 도시다."
