1 He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,그가 내게 수정처럼 맑은 생명수의 강을 보여 주었는데, 그 강은 하나님과 어린양의 보좌에서 흘러나오고 있었습니다.
2 in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.그 강은 도성 거리 한가운데를 흐르고, 강 이쪽과 저쪽에는 생명나무가 있어서 열두 가지 열매를 맺고 달마다 그 열매를 내었습니다. 그리고 그 나무의 잎사귀들은 모든 민족을 치료하는 데 쓰였습니다.
3 There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will serve him.And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him;다시는 저주가 없을 것입니다. 하나님과 어린양의 보좌가 그 도성 안에 있고, 그분의 종들이 그분을 섬길 것입니다.
4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.and they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads.그들은 그분의 얼굴을 볼 것이며, 그분의 이름이 그들의 이마에 새겨질 것입니다.
5 There will be no night, and they need no lamp light or sun light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.다시는 밤이 없고, 등불이나 햇빛도 필요하지 않을 것입니다. 주 하나님께서 친히 그들을 비추실 것이기 때문입니다. 그리고 그들은 영원무궁토록 다스릴 것입니다.
6 He said to me, “ These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon.”And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.그가 내게 말했습니다. "이 말씀들은 신실하고 참되다. 선지자들의 영을 주관하시는 주 하나님께서 그분의 천사를 보내어, 반드시 속히 일어날 일들을 그분의 종들에게 보이셨다."
7 “ Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book."보아라, 내가 속히 오리라. 이 책의 예언의 말씀을 지키는 자는 복이 있다."
8 Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things.나 요한은 이 일들을 듣고 본 사람입니다. 내가 듣고 보았을 때에, 이것들을 내게 보여 준 천사의 발 앞에 엎드려 경배하려 하였습니다.
9 He said to me, “ You must not do that! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren the prophets, and with them that keep the words of this book: worship God.그러자 그가 내게 말했습니다. "그리하지 마라! 나는 너와, 네 형제인 선지자들과, 이 책의 말씀을 지키는 자들과 함께 종 된 자이다. 하나님께 경배하여라."
10 He said to me, “Don’ t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.And he saith unto me, Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.또 그가 내게 말했습니다. "이 책의 예언의 말씀을 봉인하지 마라. 때가 가까웠기 때문이다.
11 He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.”He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy, let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.불의를 행하는 자는 그대로 불의를 행하게 두고, 더러운 자는 그대로 더럽게 두며, 의로운 자는 그대로 의를 행하게 하고, 거룩한 자는 그대로 거룩하게 두어라."
12 “ Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is."보아라, 내가 속히 오리라. 내가 줄 상이 나와 함께 있으니, 각 사람에게 그가 행한 대로 갚아 주리라.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.나는 알파와 오메가요, 처음과 마지막이요, 시작과 끝이다.
14 Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.자기 옷을 빠는 자들은 복이 있다. 그들은 생명나무에 나아갈 권리를 얻고, 문들을 통하여 도성 안으로 들어갈 것이다.
15 Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.그러나 개들과 점술하는 자들과 음행하는 자들과 살인하는 자들과 우상을 섬기는 자들과 거짓을 사랑하고 행하는 모든 자는 밖에 있다.
16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.나 예수는 내 천사를 보내어 교회들을 위하여 이 일들을 너희에게 증언하게 하였다. 나는 다윗의 뿌리요 그 자손이며, 빛나는 새벽별이다."
17 The Spirit and the bride say, “ Come!” He who hears, let him say, “ Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.성령과 신부가 말합니다. "오십시오!" 듣는 자도 "오십시오!" 하고 말하십시오. 목마른 자는 오십시오. 원하는 자는 누구든지 값없이 생명수를 받으십시오.
18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book.I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book:나는 이 책의 예언의 말씀을 듣는 모든 사람에게 증언합니다. 누구든지 이 말씀에 무엇을 더하면, 하나님께서 이 책에 기록된 재앙들을 그에게 더하실 것입니다.
19 If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.또 누구든지 이 예언의 책의 말씀에서 무엇을 빼면, 하나님께서 이 책에 기록된 생명나무와 거룩한 도성에서 그의 몫을 빼앗으실 것입니다.
20 He who testifies these things says, “ Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus!He who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.이 일들을 증언하시는 분이 말씀하십니다. "그렇다, 내가 속히 오리라." 아멘! 오십시오, 주 예수님.
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.The grace of the Lord Jesus be with the saints. Amen.주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 모든 성도와 함께 있기를 빕니다. 아멘.
