1 I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, “ Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth!”And I heard a great voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, Go ye, and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God into the earth.나는 성전에서 일곱 천사에게 외치는 큰 음성을 들었습니다. "가서 하나님의 진노가 담긴 일곱 대접을 땅에 쏟아 부어라!"
2 The first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth, and it became a harmful and painful sore on the people who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and it became a noisome and grievous sore upon the men that had the mark of the beast, and that worshipped his image.첫째 천사가 가서 그 대접을 땅에 쏟자, 짐승의 표를 받고 그 우상에게 경배한 사람들에게 독하고 끔찍한 종기가 생겼습니다.
3 The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man. Every living thing in the sea died.And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living soul died, even the things that were in the sea.둘째 천사가 그 대접을 바다에 쏟자, 바다가 죽은 사람의 피처럼 변하여 그 안에 사는 모든 생물이 죽었습니다.
4 The third poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of the waters; and it became blood.셋째 천사가 그 대접을 강과 물의 근원들에 쏟자, 그것들이 피로 변했습니다.
5 I heard the angel of the waters saying, “ You are righteous, who are and who were, O Holy One, because you have judged these things.And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, who art and who wast, thou Holy One, because thou didst thus judge:그때 나는 물을 맡은 천사가 이렇게 말하는 것을 들었습니다. "지금도 계시고 전에도 계셨던 거룩하신 분이여, 주께서 이렇게 심판하셨으니 의로우십니다.
6 For they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve this.”for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and blood hast thou given them to drink: they are worthy.그들이 성도들과 선지자들의 피를 흘렸기에, 주께서 그들에게 피를 마시게 하셨습니다. 그들은 이런 일을 당해 마땅합니다."
7 I heard the altar saying, “ Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.”And I heard the altar saying, Yea, O Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.또 나는 제단이 이렇게 말하는 것을 들었습니다. "그렇습니다, 전능하신 주 하나님이여, 주의 심판은 참되고 의로우십니다."
8 The fourth poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to scorch men with fire.And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire.넷째 천사가 그 대접을 해에 쏟자, 해가 불로 사람들을 태우는 권세를 받았습니다.
9 People were scorched with great heat, and people blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues. They didn’ t repent and give him glory.And men were scorched with great heat: and they blasphemed the name of God who hath the power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory.사람들은 뜨거운 열에 타면서도, 이 재앙들을 다스리는 권세를 가지신 하나님의 이름을 모독했습니다. 그들은 회개하지도, 그분께 영광을 돌리지도 않았습니다.
10 The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was darkened. They gnawed their tongues because of the pain,And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,다섯째 천사가 그 대접을 짐승의 보좌에 쏟자, 그 나라가 어둠에 휩싸였습니다. 사람들은 고통으로 자기 혀를 깨물며,
11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores. They still didn’ t repent of their works.and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.그 고통과 종기 때문에 하늘의 하나님을 모독했습니다. 그러나 그들은 자기 행위를 회개하지 않았습니다.
12 The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates. Its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings that come from the sunrise.And the sixth poured out his bowl upon the great river, the river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that come from the sunrising.여섯째 천사가 그 대접을 큰 강 유프라테스에 쏟자, 그 물이 말라 버려 해 뜨는 동쪽에서 오는 왕들의 길이 예비되었습니다.
13 I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs;And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs:그리고 나는 용의 입과 짐승의 입과 거짓 선지자의 입에서 개구리 같은 더러운 영 셋이 나오는 것을 보았습니다.
14 for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of that great day of God the Almighty.for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them together unto the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.이들은 표적을 행하는 귀신의 영들로서, 전능하신 하나님의 그 큰 날에 있을 전쟁을 위해 온 세상의 왕들을 한데 모으려고 나아갔습니다.
15 “ Behold, I come like a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his clothes, so that he doesn’ t walk naked, and they see his shame.”( Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.)"보라, 내가 도둑같이 오리라. 깨어 있어 자기 옷을 지켜, 벌거벗고 다니지 않아 수치를 드러내지 않는 사람은 복이 있다."
16 He gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew, “Harmagedon”.And they gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew Har-Magedon.그 영들은 왕들을 히브리어로 므깃도라고 하는 곳에 모았습니다.
17 The seventh poured out his bowl into the air. A loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “ It is done!”And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done:일곱째 천사가 그 대접을 공중에 쏟자, 하늘의 성전 안 보좌에서 큰 음성이 나와 "다 이루어졌다!" 하고 외쳤습니다.
18 There were lightnings, sounds, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake such as has not happened since there were men on the earth — so great an earthquake and so mighty.and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men upon the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.그러자 번개와 요란한 소리와 천둥이 일어나고, 큰 지진이 났는데, 땅 위에 사람이 생긴 이래로 그렇게 크고 강력한 지진은 없었습니다.
19 The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.큰 성이 세 조각으로 갈라지고 여러 나라의 성들이 무너졌습니다. 큰 바벨론이 하나님 앞에서 기억되어, 그분의 맹렬한 진노의 포도주 잔을 받게 되었습니다.
20 Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.모든 섬이 사라지고 산들도 자취를 감추었습니다.
21 Great hailstones, about the weight of a talent, came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague was exceedingly severe.And great hail, every stone about the weight of a talent, cometh down out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof is exceeding great.또 한 달란트 무게쯤 되는 큰 우박이 하늘에서 사람들 위로 떨어졌습니다. 그 우박 재앙이 너무도 혹독했기에, 사람들은 그 재앙 때문에 하나님을 모독했습니다.
