1 I saw, in the right hand of him who sat on the throne, a book written inside and outside, sealed shut with seven seals.And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the back, close sealed with seven seals.나는 보좌에 앉으신 분의 오른손에 두루마리 책 하나가 있는 것을 보았습니다. 그 책은 안팎으로 글이 적혀 있었고, 일곱 개의 봉인으로 단단히 봉해져 있었습니다.
2 I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “ Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?”And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?또 나는 한 힘센 천사가 큰 소리로 외치는 것을 보았습니다. "누가 이 책을 펼치고 그 봉인을 뗄 자격이 있는가?"
3 No one in heaven above, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book or to look in it.And no one in the heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look thereon.그러나 하늘에서나 땅 위에서나 땅 아래에서나, 그 누구도 그 책을 펼치거나 그 안을 들여다볼 수 없었습니다.
4 Then I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look in it.And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look thereon:그 책을 펼치거나 들여다볼 자격이 있는 자가 아무도 없었기에, 나는 몹시 울었습니다.
5 One of the elders said to me, “Don’ t weep. Behold, the Lion who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome: he who opens the book and its seven seals.”and one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not; behold, the Lion that is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath overcome to open the book and the seven seals thereof.그때 장로들 가운데 하나가 내게 말했습니다. "울지 마라. 보라, 유다 지파의 사자, 다윗의 뿌리가 이기셨다. 그분이 그 책과 일곱 봉인을 펼치실 것이다."
6 I saw in the middle of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.나는 보좌와 네 생물 가운데, 그리고 장로들 가운데에 어린양이 서 있는 것을 보았습니다. 그 어린양은 죽임을 당한 듯한 모습이었고, 일곱 뿔과 일곱 눈을 가지고 있었는데, 이 눈은 온 땅으로 보내심을 받은 하나님의 일곱 영이었습니다.
7 Then he came, and he took it out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne.And he came, and he taketh it out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne.그 어린양이 나아와, 보좌에 앉으신 분의 오른손에서 그 책을 받아 드셨습니다.
8 Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.그 책을 받아 드시자, 네 생물과 스물네 장로가 어린양 앞에 엎드렸습니다. 그들은 저마다 거문고와, 향이 가득 담긴 금 대접을 들고 있었는데, 이 향은 성도들의 기도였습니다.
9 They sang a new song, saying, “ You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and didst purchase unto God with thy blood men of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,그들은 새 노래를 불렀습니다. "당신은 그 책을 받아 그 봉인을 떼시기에 합당하십니다. 당신께서 죽임을 당하시고, 당신의 피로 모든 족속과 언어와 백성과 민족 가운데서 사람들을 사서 하나님께 드리셨기 때문입니다.
10 and made us kings and priests to our God; and we will reign on the earth.”and madest them to be unto our God a kingdom and priests; and they reign upon the earth.또 그들을 우리 하나님께 속한 왕과 제사장으로 삼으셨으니, 그들이 땅에서 다스릴 것입니다."
11 I looked, and I heard something like a voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders. The number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands,And I saw, and I heard a voice of many angels round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;나는 또 보았고, 보좌와 생물들과 장로들을 둘러싼 수많은 천사의 음성 같은 것을 들었습니다. 그 수는 만의 만 배요, 천의 천 배였습니다.
12 saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing!”saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb that hath been slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and glory, and blessing.그들이 큰 소리로 말했습니다. "죽임을 당하신 어린양은 권능과 부와 지혜와 힘과 존귀와 영광과 찬송을 받으시기에 합당하십니다!"
13 I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying, “ To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever! Amen!”And every created thing which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things that are in them, heard I saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever.또 나는 하늘과 땅 위와 땅 아래와 바다에 있는 모든 피조물과 그 안에 있는 모든 것이 이렇게 말하는 것을 들었습니다. "보좌에 앉으신 분과 어린양께 찬송과 존귀와 영광과 권세가 영원무궁하기를! 아멘!"
14 The four living creatures said, “Amen!” Then the elders fell down and worshiped.And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshipped.네 생물은 "아멘!" 하고 외쳤고, 장로들은 엎드려 경배했습니다.
