Will you deliver them into my hand?” Yahweh said to him, “ Go up; for I will deliver them into your hand.”And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into my hand? And Jehovah said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thy hand.다윗이 하나님께 여쭈었습니다. "제가 블레셋 사람들을 치러 올라가리이까? 그들을 제 손에 넘겨주시겠습니까?" 여호와께서 그에게 말씀하셨습니다. "올라가라. 내가 그들을 네 손에 넘겨주리라."
11 So they came up to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there. David said, God has broken my enemies by my hand, like waters breaking out. Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim.So they came up to Baal-perazim, and David smote them there; and David said, God hath broken mine enemies by my hand, like the breach of waters. 14 David inquired again of God; and God said to him, “ You shall not go up after them. Turn away from them, and come on them opposite the mulberry trees.And David inquired again of God; and God said unto him, Thou shalt not go up after them: turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry-trees.다윗이 또 하나님께 여쭈니, 하나님께서 그에게 말씀하셨습니다. "그들을 쫓아 곧장 올라가지 말고, 그들을 돌아서 뽕나무 숲 맞은편에서 그들을 치라.
15 When you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then go out to battle; for God has gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.”And it shall be, when thou hearest the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry-trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle; for God is gone out before thee to smite the host of the Philistines.뽕나무 꼭대기에서 행군하는 소리가 들리거든, 그때 나가서 싸우라. 이는 하나님께서 너보다 앞서 나가 블레셋 군대를 치려 하심이라."
16 David did as God commanded him; and they attacked the army of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gezer.And David did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gezer.다윗이 하나님께서 명령하신 대로 행하니, 그들이 기브온에서부터 게셀에 이르기까지 블레셋 군대를 쳤습니다.
17 The fame of David went out into all lands; and Yahweh brought the fear of him on all nations.And the fame of David went out into all lands; and Jehovah brought the fear of him upon all nations.다윗의 명성이 모든 땅에 퍼져 나갔고, 여호와께서 모든 민족이 그를 두려워하게 하셨습니다.
