He called to himself his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness. And he called unto him his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of disease and all manner of sickness.

Now the names of the twelve apostles are these. The first, Simon, who is called Peter; Andrew, his brother; James the son of Zebedee; John, his brother; Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;열두 사도의 이름은 이러하다.

Simon the Zealot; and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.Simon the Cananæan, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

Jesus sent these twelve out and commanded them, saying, “Don’ t go among the Gentiles, and don’ t enter into any city of the Samaritans. These twelve Jesus sent forth, and charged them, saying, Go not into any way of the Gentiles, and enter not into any city of the Samaritans:예수께서 이 열둘을 보내시며 이렇게 명하셨다.

Rather, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

As you go, preach, saying, ‘ The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!’And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons: freely ye received, freely give.

Don’ t take any gold, silver, or brass in your money belts.Get you no gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses;

Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor sandals, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.no wallet for your journey, neither two coats, nor shoes, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.

Into whatever city or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy, and stay there until you go on.And into whatsoever city or village ye shall enter, search out who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go forth.

As you enter into the household, greet it.And as ye enter into the house, salute it.

If the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it isn’ t worthy, let your peace return to you.And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

Whoever doesn’ t receive you or hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, as ye go forth out of that house or that city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Most certainly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

“ Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you;사람들을 조심하여라.

Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.yea and before governors and kings shall ye be brought for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.

But when they deliver you up, don’ t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.But when they deliver you up, be not anxious how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that hour what ye shall speak.

For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaketh in you.

“Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child: and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.

You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next, for most certainly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man has come. But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone through the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

“ A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord.A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord.

It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household! It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more them of his household!

Therefore don’t be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops. What I tell you in the darkness, speak ye in the light; and what ye hear in the ear, proclaim upon the house-tops.

Don’ t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

“Aren’ t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father:참새 두 마리가 한 앗사리온에 팔리지 않느냐?

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Everyone therefore who confesses me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven.Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.

But whoever denies me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

“Don’ t think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’ t come to send peace, but a sword.Think not that I came to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law:나는 아들이 아버지와, 딸이 어머니와, 며느리가 시어머니와 맞서게 하려고 왔다.

A man’s foes will be those of his own household.and a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’ t worthy of me.He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

He who doesn’ t take his cross and follow after me isn’ t worthy of me.And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.

He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

“ He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. He who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward: and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.”And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you he shall in no wise lose his reward.
