Matthew 22장

Jesus answered and spoke to them again in parables, saying,And Jesus answered and spake again in parables unto them, saying,

“ The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who made a wedding feast for his son,The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,"하늘 나라는 자기 아들을 위하여 혼인 잔치를 베푼 어떤 임금과 같다.

and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come.and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the marriage feast: and they would not come.

Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘ Tell those who are invited, “ Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding feast!”’Again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them that are bidden, Behold, I have made ready my dinner; my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage feast.

But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise; But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise;그러나 그들은 이를 대수롭지 않게 여기고 제 갈 길로 갔는데, 하나는 자기 밭으로, 또 하나는 자기 장사하러 갔다.

and the rest grabbed his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them.and the rest laid hold on his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.

When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city. But the king was wroth; and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.

“ Then he said to his servants, ‘ The wedding is ready, but those who were invited weren’ t worthy. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they that were bidden were not worthy.

Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the wedding feast.’Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast.

Those servants went out into the highways and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests. And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.

“ But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who didn’ t have on wedding clothing,But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:그런데 임금이 손님들을 보려고 들어왔다가, 거기에 예복을 입지 않은 한 사람을 보았다.

and he said to him, ‘ Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless.and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.

Then the king said to the servants, ‘ Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

For many are called, but few chosen.”For many are called, but few chosen.

Then the Pharisees went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk. Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might ensnare him in his talk.

They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “ Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach; for you aren’ t partial to anyone. And they send to him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one: for thou regardest not the person of men.

Tell us therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Cæsar, or not?

But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, “ Why do you test me, you hypocrites? But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why make ye trial of me, ye hypocrites?

Show me the tax money.” They brought to him a denarius.Show me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a denarius.

He asked them, “ Whose is this image and inscription?”And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

They said to him, “ Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “ Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”They say unto him, Cæsar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Cæsar the things that are Cæsar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.

When they heard it, they marveled, and left him and went away. And when they heard it, they marvelled, and left him, and went away.

On that day Sadducees ( those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him,On that day there came to him Sadducees, they that say that there is no resurrection: and they asked him,그날에 부활이 없다고 말하는 사두개 사람들이 예수께 와서 물었다.

saying, “ Teacher, Moses said, ‘ If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’saying, Teacher, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother."

Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no offspring left his wife to his brother. Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first married and deceased, and having no seed left his wife unto his brother;그런데 우리 가운데 일곱 형제가 있었습니다.

In the same way, the second also, and the third, to the seventh.in like manner the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.

After them all, the woman died. And after them all, the woman died.

In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her.”In the resurrection therefore whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

But Jesus answered them, “ You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.But Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven.

But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’ t you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,죽은 사람의 부활에 관하여는, 하나님께서 너희에게 하신 말씀을 너희가 읽어 보지 못하였느냐?

‘ I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.'

When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching. And when the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.

But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, gathered themselves together. But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, gathered themselves together.

One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him.And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, trying him:그 가운데 한 율법사가 예수를 시험하여 물었다.

“ Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"

Jesus said to him, “‘ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment. This is the great and first commandment.

A second likewise is this, ‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.

Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,

saying, “ What do you think of the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “ Of David.”saying, What think ye of the Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David."

He said to them, “ How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,He saith unto them, How then doth David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다.

‘ The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet’?The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I put thine enemies underneath thy feet?'

“ If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”If David then calleth him Lord, how is he his son?

No one was able to answer him a word, neither did any man dare ask him any more questions from that day forward. And no one was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
