Mark 6장

He went out from there. He came into his own country, and his disciples followed him.And he went out from thence; and he cometh into his own country; and his disciples follow him.

When the Sabbath had come, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many hearing him were astonished, saying, “ Where did this man get these things?” and, “ What is the wisdom that is given to this man, that such mighty works come about by his hands? And when the sabbath was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, Whence hath this man these things? and, What is the wisdom that is given unto this man, and what mean such mighty works wrought by his hands?

Isn’ t this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James, Joses, Judah, and Simon? Aren’ t his sisters here with us?” So they were offended at him.Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended in him.

Jesus said to them, “ A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and among his own relatives, and in his own house.”And Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

He could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

He marveled because of their unbelief. He went around the villages teaching. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages teaching.

He called to himself the twelve, and began to send them out two by two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits. And he calleth unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits;예수께서 열두 제자를 부르시고, 둘씩 짝지어 내보내기 시작하셨다.

He commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only: no bread, no wallet, no money in their purse, and he charged them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no bread, no wallet, no money in their purse;예수께서는 그들에게 길을 떠날 때 지팡이 하나 외에는 아무것도 가지고 가지 말라고 명하셨다.

but to wear sandals, and not put on two tunics.but to go shod with sandals: and, said he, put not on two coats.

He said to them, “ Wherever you enter into a house, stay there until you depart from there. And he said unto them, Wheresoever ye enter into a house, there abide till ye depart thence.

Whoever will not receive you nor hear you, as you depart from there, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony against them. Assuredly, I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”And whatsoever place shall not receive you, and they hear you not, as ye go forth thence, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony unto them.

They went out and preached that people should repent. And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

They cast out many demons, and anointed many with oil who were sick and healed them. And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

King Herod heard this, for his name had become known, and he said, “ John the Baptizer has risen from the dead, and therefore these powers are at work in him.”And king Herod heard thereof; for his name had become known: and he said, John the Baptizer is risen from the dead, and therefore do these powers work in him.

But others said, “ He is Elijah.” Others said, “ He is a prophet, or like one of the prophets.”But others said, It is Elijah. And others said, It is a prophet, even as one of the prophets.

But Herod, when he heard this, said, “ This is John, whom I beheaded. He has risen from the dead.”But Herod, when he heard thereof, said, John, whom I beheaded, he is risen.

For Herod himself had sent out and arrested John and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, for he had married her.For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife; for he had married her.

For John had said to Herod, “ It is not lawful for you to have your brother’ s wife.”For John said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’ s wife.

Herodias set herself against him and desired to kill him, but she couldn’ t,And Herodias set herself against him, and desired to kill him; and she could not;그래서 헤로디아는 요한에게 앙심을 품고 그를 죽이려 하였으나, 그렇게 할 수 없었다.

for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and kept him safe. When he heard him, he did many things, and he heard him gladly.for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and kept him safe. And when he heard him, he was much perplexed; and he heard him gladly.

Then a convenient day came when Herod on his birthday made a supper for his nobles, the high officers, and the chief men of Galilee. And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, and the high captains, and the chief men of Galilee;마침내 좋은 기회가 왔다.

When the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod and those sitting with him. The king said to the young lady, “ Ask me whatever you want, and I will give it to you.”and when the daughter of Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod and them that sat at meat with him; and the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.

He swore to her, “ Whatever you ask of me, I will give you, up to half of my kingdom.”And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.

She went out and said to her mother, “ What shall I ask?” She said, “ The head of John the Baptizer.”And she went out, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptizer.

She came in immediately with haste to the king and requested, “ I want you to give me right now the head of John the Baptizer on a platter.”And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou forthwith give me on a platter the head of John the Baptist.

The king was exceedingly sorry, but for the sake of his oaths and of his dinner guests, he didn’ t wish to refuse her.And the king was exceeding sorry; but for the sake of his oaths, and of them that sat at meat, he would not reject her.

Immediately the king sent out a soldier of his guard and commanded to bring John’s head; and he went and beheaded him in the prison,And straightway the king sent forth a soldier of his guard, and commanded to bring his head: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,왕은 곧 호위병 한 사람을 보내어 요한의 머리를 가져오라고 명하였다.

and brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the young lady; and the young lady gave it to her mother.and brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the damsel; and the damsel gave it to her mother.

When his disciples heard this, they came and took up his corpse and laid it in a tomb. And when his disciples heard thereof, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.

The apostles gathered themselves together to Jesus, and they told him all things, whatever they had done, and whatever they had taught. And the apostles gather themselves together unto Jesus; and they told him all things, whatsoever they had done, and whatsoever they had taught.

He said to them, “ Come away into a deserted place, and rest awhile.” For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.And he saith unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while. For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

They went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves. And they went away in the boat to a desert place apart.

They saw them going, and many recognized him and ran there on foot from all the cities. They arrived before them and came together to him.And the people saw them going, and many knew them, and they ran together there on foot from all the cities, and outwent them.

Jesus came out, saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things. And he came forth and saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

When it was late in the day, his disciples came to him and said, “ This place is deserted, and it is late in the day.And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, The place is desert, and the day is now far spent;날이 저물자, 제자들이 예수께 나아와 말하였다.

Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat.”send them away, that they may go into the country and villages round about, and buy themselves somewhat to eat.

But he answered them, “ You give them something to eat.” They asked him, “ Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”But he answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred shillings’ worth of bread, and give them to eat?

He said to them, “ How many loaves do you have? Go see.” When they knew, they said, “ Five, and two fish.”And he saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.

He commanded them that everyone should sit down in groups on the green grass. And he commanded them that all should sit down by companies upon the green grass.

They sat down in ranks, by hundreds and by fifties. And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.

He took the five loaves and the two fish; and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves, and he gave to his disciples to set before them, and he divided the two fish among them all.And he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake the loaves; and he gave to the disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.

They all ate and were filled. And they all ate, and were filled.

They took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and also of the fish. And they took up broken pieces, twelve basketfuls, and also of the fishes.

Those who ate the loaves were five thousand men.And they that ate the loaves were five thousand men.

Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat and go ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he himself sent the multitude away. And straightway he constrained his disciples to enter into the boat, and to go before him unto the other side to Bethsaida, while he himself sendeth the multitude away.

After he had taken leave of them, he went up the mountain to pray. And after he had taken leave of them, he departed into the mountain to pray.

When evening had come, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and he was alone on the land. And when even was come, the boat was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.

Seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them, about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea; and he would have passed by them,And seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary unto them, about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking on the sea; and he would have passed by them:예수께서 제자들이 바람을 거슬러 힘겹게 노 젓는 것을 보시고, 밤 사경쯤에 바다 위를 걸어 그들에게 가셨다.

but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out;but they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out;그러나 제자들은 예수께서 바다 위를 걸으시는 것을 보고, 유령인 줄로 여겨 소리를 질렀다.

for they all saw him and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them and said to them, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’ t be afraid.”for they all saw him, and were troubled. But he straightway spake with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

He got into the boat with them; and the wind ceased, and they were very amazed among themselves, and marveled; And he went up unto them into the boat; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves;예수께서 그들과 함께 배에 오르시니 바람이 그쳤다.

for they hadn’ t understood about the loaves, but their hearts were hardened.for they understood not concerning the loaves, but their heart was hardened.

When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret and moored to the shore. And when they had crossed over, they came to the land unto Gennesaret, and moored to the shore.

When they had come out of the boat, immediately the people recognized him,And when they were come out of the boat, straightway the people knew him,그들이 배에서 나오자, 사람들이 곧 예수를 알아보고,

and ran around that whole region, and began to bring those who were sick on their mats to where they heard he was.and ran round about that whole region, and began to carry about on their beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.

Wherever he entered — into villages, or into cities, or into the country— they laid the sick in the marketplaces and begged him that they might just touch the fringe of his garment; and as many as touched him were made well. And wheresoever he entered, into villages, or into cities, or into the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.
