When the king lived in his house, and Yahweh had given him rest from all his enemies all around,And it came to pass, when the king dwelt in his house, and Jehovah had given him rest from all his enemies round about,왕이 자기 궁에 살게 되고, 여호와께서 그를 둘러싼 모든 원수에게서 벗어나 평안을 주셨을 때였습니다.
the king said to Nathan the prophet, “ See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but God’s ark dwells within curtains.”that the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.
Nathan said to the king, “ Go, do all that is in your heart, for Yahweh is with you.”And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thy heart; for Jehovah is with thee.
That same night, Yahweh’s word came to Nathan, saying,And it came to pass the same night, that the word of Jehovah came unto Nathan, saying,
“ Go and tell my servant David, ‘ Yahweh says, “ Should you build me a house for me to dwell in?Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith Jehovah, Shalt thou build me a house for me to dwell in?"
For I have not lived in a house since the day that I brought the children of Israel up out of Egypt, even to this day, but have moved around in a tent and in a tabernacle.for I have not dwelt in a house since the day that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.
In all places in which I have walked with all the children of Israel, did I say a word to anyone from the tribes of Israel whom I commanded to be shepherd of my people Israel, saying, ‘ Why have you not built me a house of cedar?’”’In all places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel, spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to be shepherd of my people Israel, saying, Why have ye not built me a house of cedar?
Now therefore tell my servant David this: ‘ Yahweh of Armies says, “ I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people, over Israel. Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be prince over my people, over Israel;그러므로 이제 내 종 다윗에게 이렇게 전하여라.
I have been with you wherever you went, and have cut off all your enemies from before you. I will make you a great name, like the name of the great ones who are in the earth.and I have been with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee; and I will make thee a great name, like unto the name of the great ones that are in the earth.
I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place and be moved no more. The children of wickedness will not afflict them any more, as at the first,And I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as at the first,또 내가 내 백성 이스라엘을 위해 한 곳을 정하여 그들을 심어, 그들이 자기 땅에 살며 다시는 옮겨 다니지 않게 하고, 악한 자들이 처음처럼 다시는 그들을 괴롭히지 못하게 하겠다.
and as from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. I will cause you to rest from all your enemies. Moreover Yahweh tells you that Yahweh will make you a house.and as from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel; and I will cause thee to rest from all thine enemies. Moreover Jehovah telleth thee that Jehovah will make thee a house.
When your days are fulfilled and you sleep with your fathers, I will set up your offspring after you, who will proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom. When thy days are fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, that shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
He will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
I will be his father, and he will be my son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the stripes of the children of men;I will be his father, and he shall be my son: if he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men;나는 그의 아버지가 되고 그는 내 아들이 될 것이다.
but my loving kindness will not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you.but my lovingkindness shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.
Your house and your kingdom will be made sure forever before you. Your throne will be established forever.”’”And thy house and thy kingdom shall be made sure for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
Nathan spoke to David all these words, and according to all this vision.According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
Then David the king went in and sat before Yahweh; and he said, “ Who am I, Lord Yahweh, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far? Then David the king went in, and sat before Jehovah; and he said, Who am I, O Lord Jehovah, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me thus far?
This was yet a small thing in your eyes, Lord Yahweh, but you have spoken also of your servant’s house for a great while to come; and this among men, Lord Yahweh! And this was yet a small thing in thine eyes, O Lord Jehovah; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great while to come; and this too after the manner of men, O Lord Jehovah!
What more can David say to you? For you know your servant, Lord Yahweh. And what can David say more unto thee? for thou knowest thy servant, O Lord Jehovah.
For your word’s sake, and according to your own heart, you have worked all this greatness, to make your servant know it.For thy word’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou wrought all this greatness, to make thy servant know it.
Therefore you are great, Yahweh God. For there is no one like you, neither is there any God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.Wherefore thou art great, O Jehovah God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God besides thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
What one nation in the earth is like your people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people, and to make himself a name, and to do great things for you, and awesome things for your land, before your people, whom you redeemed to yourself out of Egypt, from the nations and their gods? And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem unto himself for a people, and to make him a name, and to do great things for you, and terrible things for thy land, before thy people, whom thou redeemedst to thee out of Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
You established for yourself your people Israel to be your people forever; and you, Yahweh, became their God.And thou didst establish to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever; and thou, Jehovah, becamest their God.
“ Now, Yahweh God, the word that you have spoken concerning your servant, and concerning his house, confirm it forever, and do as you have spoken. And now, O Jehovah God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, confirm thou it for ever, and do as thou hast spoken.
Let your name be magnified forever, saying, ‘ Yahweh of Armies is God over Israel; and the house of your servant David will be established before you.’And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, Jehovah of hosts is God over Israel; and the house of thy servant David shall be established before thee.
For you, Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying, ‘ I will build you a house.’ Therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.For thou, O Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee a house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee.
“ Now, O Lord Yahweh, you are God, and your words are truth, and you have promised this good thing to your servant. And now, O Lord Jehovah, thou art God, and thy words are truth, and thou hast promised this good thing unto thy servant:주 여호와여, 이제 주는 하나님이시며 주의 말씀은 참되십니다.
Now therefore, let it please you to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you; for you, Lord Yahweh, have spoken it. Let the house of your servant be blessed forever with your blessing.”now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee; for thou, O Lord Jehovah, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever.
