1 Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze.And again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.내가 다시 눈을 들어 보니, 두 산 사이에서 네 대의 병거가 나오는데, 그 산들은 놋쇠로 된 산이었다.
2 In the first chariot were red horses. In the second chariot were black horses.In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;첫째 병거에는 붉은 말들이, 둘째 병거에는 검은 말들이 매여 있었고,
3 In the third chariot were white horses. In the fourth chariot were dappled horses, all of them powerful.and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled strong horses.셋째 병거에는 흰 말들이, 넷째 병거에는 얼룩진 말들이 매여 있었으니, 모두 힘센 말들이었다.
4 Then I asked the angel who talked with me, “ What are these, my lord?”Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?그때 내가 나와 이야기하던 천사에게 물었다. "내 주여, 이것들은 무엇입니까?"
5 The angel answered me, “ These are the four winds of the sky, which go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth.And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.천사가 나에게 대답하였다. "이것들은 하늘의 네 바람으로, 온 땅의 주 앞에 서 있다가 나아가는 것이다.
6 The one with the black horses goes out toward the north country; and the white went out after them; and the dappled went out toward the south country.”The chariot wherein are the black horses goeth forth toward the north country; and the white went forth after them; and the grizzled went forth toward the south country.검은 말들이 매인 병거는 북쪽 땅으로 나아가고, 흰 말들은 그 뒤를 따라 나아가며, 얼룩진 말들은 남쪽 땅으로 나아간다."
7 The strong went out, and sought to go that they might walk back and forth through the earth. He said, “ Go around and through the earth!” So they walked back and forth through the earth.And the strong went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.그 힘센 말들이 나아가서 땅을 두루 다니려고 하니, 그분께서 "가서 땅을 두루 다녀라!" 하고 말씀하셨다. 그래서 그것들이 땅을 두루 다녔다.
8 Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, “ Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”Then cried he to me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, they that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.그때 그분께서 나를 불러 말씀하셨다. "보라, 북쪽 땅으로 나아간 자들이 북쪽 땅에서 내 영을 진정시켰다."
9 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,여호와의 말씀이 나에게 임하여 이르셨다.
10 “ Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have come from Babylon.Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon;"사로잡혀 온 자들 가운데서, 곧 헬대와 도비야와 여다야에게서 받아라. 너는 그날에 가서, 그들이 바벨론에서 돌아와 머무는 스바냐의 아들 요시야의 집으로 들어가라.
11 Yes, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;yea, take of them silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;은과 금을 가져다가 면류관들을 만들어, 여호사닥의 아들 대제사장 여호수아의 머리에 씌우고,
12 and speak to him, saying, ‘ Yahweh of Armies says, “ Behold, the man whose name is the Branch! He will grow up out of his place; and he will build Yahweh’s temple.and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Jehovah;그에게 말하여라. '만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 보라, 그 이름이 가지(싹)라 하는 사람이 있으니, 그가 자기 자리에서 자라나 여호와의 성전을 건축할 것이다.
13 He will build Yahweh’s temple. He will bear the glory, and will sit and rule on his throne. He will be a priest on his throne. The counsel of peace will be between them both.even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.바로 그가 여호와의 성전을 건축하고, 영광을 받으며, 자기 보좌에 앉아 다스릴 것이다. 그가 그 보좌 위에서 제사장이 될 것이며, 평화의 의논이 이 둘 사이에 있을 것이다.'
14 The crowns shall be to Helem, to Tobijah, to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in Yahweh’s temple.And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.그 면류관들은 헬렘과 도비야와 여다야와 스바냐의 아들 헨을 위하여 여호와의 성전 안에서 기념물이 될 것이다.
15 Those who are far off shall come and build in Yahweh’s temple; and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen, if you will diligently obey Yahweh your God’s voice.”’”And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of Jehovah; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of Jehovah your God.멀리 있는 자들도 와서 여호와의 성전을 건축할 것이니, 그러면 만군의 여호와께서 나를 너희에게 보내신 줄을 너희가 알게 될 것이다. 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와의 음성을 부지런히 순종하면, 이 일이 이루어질 것이다."
