1 The word of Yahweh of Armies came to me.And the word of Jehovah of hosts came to me, saying,만군의 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하였다.
2 Yahweh of Armies says: “ I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.”Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great wrath.만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “나는 시온을 위하여 크게 질투하니, 큰 진노로 그를 위하여 질투한다.”
3 Yahweh says: “ I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the middle of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called ‘ The City of Truth;’ and the mountain of Yahweh of Armies, ‘ The Holy Mountain.’”Thus saith Jehovah: I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called The city of truth; and the mountain of Jehovah of hosts, The holy mountain.여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “내가 시온으로 돌아왔으니, 예루살렘 가운데 거할 것이다. 예루살렘은 ‘진리의 성읍’이라 불릴 것이며, 만군의 여호와의 산은 ‘거룩한 산’이라 불릴 것이다.”
4 Yahweh of Armies says: “ Old men and old women will again dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand because of their old age.Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “늙은 남자들과 늙은 여자들이 다시 예루살렘 거리에 앉을 것이니, 나이가 많아 저마다 손에 지팡이를 짚을 것이다.
5 The streets of the city will be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.”And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.그 성읍의 거리는 거기서 노는 소년 소녀들로 가득할 것이다.”
6 Yahweh of Armies says: “ If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvelous in my eyes?” says Yahweh of Armies.Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith Jehovah of hosts.만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “그 날에 이 백성의 남은 자들 눈에 그것이 기이하게 보일지라도, 그것이 내 눈에도 기이하게 보이겠느냐?” 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
7 Yahweh of Armies says: “ Behold, I will save my people from the east country and from the west country.Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “보아라, 내가 내 백성을 동쪽 땅에서, 서쪽 땅에서 구원할 것이다.
8 I will bring them, and they will dwell within Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.”and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.내가 그들을 데려와 예루살렘 가운데 거하게 하리니, 그들은 내 백성이 되고 나는 진리와 의로 그들의 하나님이 될 것이다.”
9 Yahweh of Armies says: “Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets who were in the day that the foundation of the house of Yahweh of Armies was laid, even the temple, that it might be built.Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets that were in the day that the foundation of the house of Jehovah of hosts was laid, even the temple, that it might be built.만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “만군의 여호와의 성전, 곧 그 집의 기초가 놓이던 날에 있었던 선지자들의 입에서 나온 이 말씀을 요즈음 듣는 너희여, 너희 손을 강하게 하여 성전을 건축하여라.
10 For before those days there was no wages for man nor any wages for an animal, neither was there any peace to him who went out or came in, because of the adversary. For I set all men everyone against his neighbor.For before those days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in, because of the adversary: for I set all men every one against his neighbor.그 날 이전에는 사람에게도 품삯이 없었고 짐승에게도 삯이 없었으며, 대적 때문에 나가는 자에게도 들어오는 자에게도 평안이 없었으니, 이는 내가 모든 사람을 서로 그 이웃을 치도록 두었기 때문이다.
11 But now I will not be to the remnant of this people as in the former days,” says Yahweh of Armies.But now I will not be unto the remnant of this people as in the former days, saith Jehovah of hosts.그러나 이제 내가 이 백성의 남은 자들에게는 이전 날들과 같이 대하지 않을 것이다.” 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
12 “ For the seed of peace and the vine will yield its fruit, and the ground will give its increase, and the heavens will give their dew. I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.For there shall be the seed of peace; the vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.“평화의 씨가 뿌려질 것이니, 포도나무는 그 열매를 맺고 땅은 그 소출을 내며 하늘은 그 이슬을 내릴 것이다. 내가 이 백성의 남은 자들로 이 모든 것을 기업으로 받게 하겠다.
13 It shall come to pass that, as you were a curse among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Don’t be afraid. Let your hands be strong.”And it shall come to pass that, as ye were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing. Fear not, but let your hands be strong.유다 집과 이스라엘 집이여, 너희가 뭇 나라 가운데서 저주가 되었던 것같이, 이제 내가 너희를 구원하리니 너희가 복이 될 것이다. 두려워하지 말고 너희 손을 강하게 하여라.”
14 For Yahweh of Armies says: “ As I thought to do evil to you when your fathers provoked me to wrath,” says Yahweh of Armies, “ and I didn’t repent,For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: As I thought to do evil unto you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I repented not;만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “너희 조상들이 나를 진노하게 하였을 때에 내가 너희에게 재앙을 내리기로 생각하고 뜻을 돌이키지 아니하였던 것같이,
15 so again I have thought in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Don’t be afraid.so again have I thought in these days to do good unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.이제 그 날들에 내가 다시 예루살렘과 유다 집에 선을 베풀기로 생각하였으니, 너희는 두려워하지 말아라.
16 These are the things that you shall do: speak every man the truth with his neighbor. Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates,These are the things that ye shall do: Speak ye every man the truth with his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates;너희가 행할 일은 이러하다. 너희는 저마다 이웃에게 진리를 말하고, 너희 성문에서 진리와 평화의 재판을 행하여라.
17 and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath; for all these are things that I hate,” says Yahweh.and let none of you devise evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith Jehovah.너희는 아무도 마음으로 이웃을 해하려 꾀하지 말고, 거짓 맹세를 좋아하지 말아라. 이는 다 내가 미워하는 것들이다.” 여호와께서 말씀하신다.
18 The word of Yahweh of Armies came to me.And the word of Jehovah of hosts came unto me, saying,만군의 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하였다.
19 Yahweh of Armies says: “ The fasts of the fourth, fifth, seventh, and tenth months shall be for the house of Judah joy, gladness, and cheerful feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.”Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love truth and peace.만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “넷째 달과 다섯째 달과 일곱째 달과 열째 달의 금식이 유다 집에 기쁨과 즐거움과 흥겨운 절기가 될 것이다. 그러므로 너희는 진리와 평화를 사랑하여라.”
20 Yahweh of Armies says: “ Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come.Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities;만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “많은 민족과 많은 성읍의 주민들이 다시 올 것이며,
21 The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, ‘ Let’s go speedily to entreat the favor of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of Armies. I will go also.’and the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to entreat the favor of Jehovah, and to seek Jehovah of hosts: I will go also.한 성읍의 주민들이 다른 성읍으로 가서 말하기를 ‘우리가 속히 가서 여호와의 은혜를 구하고 만군의 여호와를 찾자. 나도 가겠다’ 할 것이다.
22 Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek Yahweh of Armies in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of Yahweh.”Yea, many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek Jehovah of hosts in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favor of Jehovah.그렇다, 많은 민족과 강한 나라들이 예루살렘에서 만군의 여호와를 찾고 여호와의 은혜를 구하러 올 것이다.”
23 Yahweh of Armies says: “ In those days, ten men out of all the languages of the nations will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying, ‘ We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.만군의 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. “그 날에는 뭇 나라의 모든 언어 가운데서 열 사람이 유다 사람 하나의 옷자락을 붙잡고 말하기를 ‘하나님이 너희와 함께 계심을 우리가 들었으니, 우리가 너희와 함께 가겠다’ 할 것이다.”
